  1. 😕 Don't follow.
  2. Super Circuit was a pretty good one. I haven't played it for a while, but it's a solid entry into the Mario Kart franchise. I'm waiting for a sale to get Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Switch. I'm not interested in spending $60 for it at the moment.
  3. I'm going to give Zelda BOTW another shot. So far I haven't really been able to get into it, but I'm going to try more and see how it goes.

  5. I used to go nuts for a meat lovers pizza. But then I discovered the pepperoni lovers pizza at Pizza Hut when I worked there the first time, and being that I absolutely love pepperoni, my favorite quickly changed.
  6. There are people who set up more than one account on eBay so that they can sell something from one account, and set the other to a max bid on their own item, in order to force people to whatever the minimum is that they're willing to take for it. If it doesn't reach what they want for it, then they haven't lost anything since the account is theirs, and they can just cancel the transaction, and then relist the item until it sells for what they want. It's kinda like "Scalping: Junior Edition", if you will.
  7. There are laws against scalping, but it mostly depends on the "when and where" you're doing it. You can't stand outside a sport stadium and sell scalp tickets. That can get you a night in jail and a fine. You can't stand outside an electronics or gaming store and sell PS5's all the same. But if you buy several and go to websites like CL to sell them, then there's nothing that can be done about that. It's a kind of "pick and choose" when it's to be called legal and illegal.
  8. I think most people consider anything that came out before the mid 2000's the dark ages of gaming. With the exception of the Switch, the vast majority of kids nowadays don't even know what a cartridge is. But Switch games are more like an SD card than a cartridge, so it may not count. I guarantee that if you were to take a cart from NES, SNES, N64, & Sega, peel the labels off both sides, and present them to any random kid and ask if they knew what they are, none of them would have the slightest clue. The same goes for hand held games like GameBoy, Game Gear, and DS variants as well. They will look at them and be completely at a loss as to what the hell they are and what purpose they serve. Put a piece of tape over any identifying marks on an original GameBoy and ask them what it is, and they won't have a god damn clue what that is either. I wouldn't hold my breath that very many would know what the hell a memory card from PS1 and PS2 are either. It's sad as hell.
  9. I have a choker almost identical to that.
  10. I got the same screen, but if you look to the address bar, it’s showing a different URL.
  11. I've gotten into bidding wars, but never won them. I would start bidding and some asshole would set their max bid at like $500 just to make sure they won or something. I wasn't about to go that high. I would bid them up for a while trying to outbid them, but then realize what they had done and say fuck it. But at least I could revel in the fact that I cost them more than they would have had to spend initially.
  12. I've had a few, but off the top of my head I can't remember anyone specific. I used to joke about "being in love with a digital image", but I can't for the life of me remember who it was, or even what game/series it was.
  13. I go where I can find a game I'm interested in. I really don't care one way or another.
  14. Getting pecked to death because I got side tracked could be one. I can make my characters in FF8 virtually invincible. But they still take damage. Well, I have a rather short attention span and get side tracked very easily. I had my characters maxed out at 9999 HP. I ended up in a battle against a single bite bug. I got over confident and set my Switch aside to do something else for a moment. Long story short, I lost track of time, came back and found that one bite bug had killed all 3 of my characters and effectively defeated me and caused a game over. I was less than happy.
  15. This is my Skyrim character. I unequipped everything from her just for this pic to give a better show of what I look like.
  16. They would have to earn more technologically advanced gaming setups. Obviously they would want the PS-whatever and Xbox-whatever. but they're starting at 2bit (Atari/Colecovision) and 8bit gaming systems. They're either going to be happy with what they have, or work to earn something more advanced. When it comes to things like this, nothing is granted in this world. Just look at how many broken and half finished games are released these days. If my children wanted something more advanced they would have to earn it as proof that they deserved it. I wouldn't make the same fuckups my parents did with me. I wouldn't want my kids to be anything like me. I wouldn't beat my children. I wouldn't tell them I should have aborted them. I wouldn't fuck them up to the point that they slept with a loaded rifle from the age of 12 on.
  17. If I was a mother, my kids would start out with classic systems. They wouldn't have anything newer than an N64, if that. Most likely just a SNES. They would have to learn what gaming was like before all this lifelike fully immersive crap came about. 16bit graphics were the wave of the future when I was a kid, and the SNES blew everyone's minds when it came out with how advanced it was. Kids need to learn that before they learn modding and coding in popular games of today. At least that's my view.

  19. You may be right, but still wouldn’t it be better to go with the PS5 disc drive so you have the option? There may be a game released that, for whatever reason, is only available on physical media. Then those that went strictly digital are screwed if they want it. More than highly unlikely, I know, but it was the best hypothetical I could think of. In a nutshell, I’m just saying that when the time comes, I will be getting the disc version, so then I have the option of buying physical or digital. Another hypothetical is that a game could come out in disc, and a digital release could be delayed for an undetermined amount of time. Also, you wouldn’t be able to play your PS4 games in a digital system if they’re discs. Which means that you would have to waste your money buying another copy of the same game for no logical reason.
  20. Kung Fu on NES was always a good one.
  21. Not particularly. I do have one, but you’re definitely not going to find it at Walmart.
  22. You have the same thought as me. The enjoyable experience of playing the game IS the reward.
  23. Being a classic gamer, I can guarantee that as long as I can play, the old stuff will never be forgotten. I got my PhD in Console Emergency Surgery when I was 5. I know how to administer CPR to a Nintendo better than anyone. So I’m going to keep them all alive.
  24. Here’s one of them.
  25. A few come to mind for me. One may be a bit surprising, given the game material. Bubble Bobble Banjo Kazooie Conker's Bad Fur Day Q*Bert
