  1. Not anymore. I played a lot when I was a kid (17-18 years old) but haven’t since then. I just lost interest in it for some reason.
  2. The sad thing is that it only has about 75k miles on it.
  3. I know what ME is, but wasn’t sure if it counts in relation to this thread. I didn’t know if @DC was looking for things like Photoshop or Rosetta Stone.
  4. As I have said many times, FF8 opened my world. I started playing other sci-fi-ish types of games which led me further down the rabbit hole. If I had never played FF8, I would probably still be close minded as hell when it comes to gaming.
  5. I would honestly say fantasy. If you look at Zelda on NES for example, and then compare it to games like Skyrim, there really is no competition.
  6. It can be instantaneous, or days. It all depends on the game. The genre and franchise don’t have any impact. I used to play fantasy games exclusively. But then I got into FF8, which is a lot more sci-fi. FF8 grabbed me immediately. Twilight Princess never did. GoW on PS4 wasn’t impressive. F-Zero was an awesome game. So for me there’s no telling.
  7. Go for RDR2. For me, I would be waiting for GoW to come out. When that happens, then I’ll look more seriously at getting a PS5.
  8. The closest to an open world game so far for me is FF8. If that one counts, then it’s 100+. I kinda like the game.
  9. Same here for the most part. I haven't played the first one even though I've had it for quite a while. Until I get around to trying it out though, I don't have any plans of picking up TLOU 2. If I don't like it, there's no point in getting it. Especially at the release price. I'm assuming it's somewhere in the neighborhood of $50 to $60.
  10. If they had made it a keychain and cut the price in half, then I could see it being as it is. It also reminds me of the PocketStation. That thing was a bitch to play.
  11. There ae a few games I play that show how much time you have spent on said game file. The clock on FF8 counts for a total of 600 hours before it stops counting. It goes for 100 hours before it changes color. The color orders are as follows White Red Blue Green Yellow Purple The purple clock is the last one. at 99:59 the clocks stop counting further. In Goblin Sword, it gives a level in each area for a speed run. It doesn't do anything spectacular like earn you a hidden item or anything. It's just something for fun. Castlevania SOTN also shows a clock, but it only goes to 100 hours I think.
  12. I never knew that. I haven't touched a 3DS in so long, I honestly don't remember any of the games on it. But I have Metroid II for my GBASP, so I thought I would mention it.
  13. I finally got a higher capacity micro SD card for my Switch. I was using a 128g card, but put a 512g in it this morning. I had to use my computer as a middleman to swap files over between the cards, but it was no big thing. So now I have 4 times the space I had, and considering were talking Gigs, that's a hell of a lot of space.
  14. It's a 2008 Pontiac Montana. I finally got it back last week from the shop, but the doors are still acting goofy. I'm ready to drive it into a field, put some C4 in it, and press the little red button. Or put a bullet through my own fucking skull.
  15. Have you ever played Metroid II on GBA? If not, you should pick them up. It's a pretty sweet game. And considering that the GBA isn't designed to fit the Game Genie, there's no way to cheat. So that's another plus.
  16. I mentioned this somewhere else on the forum, but it all boils down to the simple fact that the Switch was designed to play games, whereas android and iOS were not. They were designed as phones primarily, but the Switch is a gaming hub. And quite frankly, they make a lot of money selling the games on the eShop. The digital versions go for more than the physical ones do. For example, Mario Odyssey goes for $50 for the physical cart, but the DDL goes for $60. I've checked that on other games as well that are offered on multiple platforms. They make just as much, if not more by selling on Switch.
  17. To my knowledge we don't have anything like that here in the states, unfortunately. If we did, I would be checking it out regularly.
  18. Holy shit. Word of advice to everyone: Do not piss @Crazycrab off.
  19. The design is enough to tell me that it’s not a console worth owning. They went with that? It’s the same reason the Game Cube was a piece of shit. They put no effort into it. So little effort that they just threw 4 corners together and said “Done.” If they care so little about their consoles that that is what they put out, then I’m the one that’s done.
  20. I've always used a controller as well, with the only exceptions being AOE and Diablo 1&2 on PC. I started gaming with a controller in my hand and it's what I'm used to. Trying to game otherwise just feels unnatural to my hands. Maybe it's a kind of "hits the ear wrong" type of thing? I guess when it comes to gaming, my mind and hands are conditioned to holding a controller.
  21. Beavis & Butthead came out at the same time on SNES and Sega Genesis, but were totally different games. The basic plot point was the same, but they went about it in completely different ways. And from what I understand there were some titles from the PS3/Xbox 360 era that were on both systems, but were wildly different in terms of gameplay.
  22. I fucked up in my post. I meant the A, S, D, & W keys. Plus the arrow keys are red. I was half asleep when I made the post last night. But everything else I said was correct from my end.
  23. No the keys themselves are a different color. For example, my girl has a gaming setup, and the E, S, D, & F keys and the arrow keys are red, while every other key on her keyboard is black.
