  1. I have to ask. I'm not trying to be rude, I'm just curious. If you're not big on gaming, then why are you here?
  2. Very true, but there are often extras that come with a preorder. Collectible stuff, and special in-game goodies. Most recently, FF7 had a lot of extras for those that preordered it.
  3. I honestly wouldn't remake any games. I'm coming from the early/mid 80's, and the charm of games from back when I was a kid is the graphics and gameplay. So there's little to nothing that I would change. The only thing that's even in the realm of possibility, would the control configuration on a game. But off the top of my head, I can't think of any.
  4. Most of the Castlevania series has had pretty sweet endings. The Zelda series does as well. Blaster Master had an awesome ending. But probably my all time favorite is FF8. That is the best ending that I have seen in just about any game.
  5. I like the idea, and it's a great looking game, but it just looks too much like Diablo 3, which I hated. Also from the trailer it looks like an MMO, and I also hate online gaming. So while I'm positive this will appeal to a lot of people, it's just not for me.
  6. I'm starting to think so. I'm just going to say that if any of the CD-I Zelda games are ported, or Gods forbid, Custers Revenge, that is the day I officially retire from gaming.
  7. If you're interested in finding FP games to try, and are into medieval games, you should check out Hexen. It's designed and set up just like Doom, but it's a medieval take on it. I was never the biggest fan of the art style myself, but when I came across Hexen, I loved it.
  8. Layers Of Fear: Legacy (DDL) on Switch. It's a horror game I noticed when @RoBnLoZ GaMinG made their initial post and had the video intro.

  10. Considering that this reply will make 113 replies, can I just say 113 to catch up, or do I have to say 102?
  11. I wasn't a fan of the Wii either. I enjoyed Mario Kart on it, but that was about the only game I enjoyed. I just hated the way the control system was set up. If the motion control and nunchuk were optional with a standard controller, then things might have been different. But the only time I saw that happening was if you played a Game Cube game on it. Which is another system I was less than impressed with. Also I've never been a fan of Xbox. But I'm stuck owning one because a game I'm waiting for is an Xbox exclusive.
  12. I've won a few hands, but not quite bankrupted the others. My strategy was to keep pouring whiskey down their throats, while I stayed sober. After a bit they're so damn drunk they couldn't have hit the ground with their hat in 3 tries.
  13. The entire crew in Star Fox (SNES). They bitch and moan all the time and offer no help whatsoever. They complain when an enemy is on their ass, yet when I shoot it down they yell back that they didn't need my help. And if I do nothing they bitch that I didn't help them. Also half the time when I shoot something down, one of them claims that it was their ship to shoot down. You can't win with those assholes. And don't even get me started on any Zelda game with a fucking owl in it.
  14. Legacy Of The Wizard I've been playing this dirty bastard for 30 god damn years and have so far found only one out of four fucking crowns. I refuse to watch any playthroughs on YouTube, because this game was created decades before YouTube, and even the internet for that matter. I will beat it. I may be old and gray, with half a marble left rolling around upstairs, but I will beat this son of a bitch.
  15. If I'm understanding this topic right, I used to make my own items for Diablo, and Diablo 2. I never bought anything after I started doing that. I just scripted them how I wanted them, and kicked ass when I went in.
  16. I got through Zelda (NES) in about 2 hours, initially. I can probably do it quicker now. I did Zelda 2 (NES) in somewhere between 5-6 hours. I don't remember. It's been a while since I played it. Links Awakening is another that is short as hell, and beatable in about the same amount of time as the first Zelda. That's all I'm going to list for games with a save feature or I would be going all day. Restart games (as I call them) would include NES--- Contra Kings Knight Punch Out SNES--- Earthworm Jim 2 Legend Of The Mystical Ninja Star Fox N64--- Hexen Also tons on GameBoy. Too many to list. Castlevania SOTN is beatable in just 2-2½ hours if you're not going for fancy items. Obviously if you are, then that adds time to how long it takes you to beat it.
  17. I watch videos on YouTube a lot. They're not streaming videos, but more just gaming videos in general. We all know AVGN, but I'm also subscribed to FuzzFingerGaming, JohnRiggs, and a couple others. They have really good content.
  18. The only sport games I actually enjoy are snowboarding games. That's only because I was a pro-am snowboarder when I was younger.
  19. We all play on multiple platforms. Some prefer PC, some prefer one console or another, some prefer mobile. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But is there a platform you're just not particularly interested in? Nothing against it. It just doesn't catch your eye? For me it would be mobile and PC. I have several games on my phone, and play them some, but can't say I play them a lot. The only two I have that have my attention at the moment are Word Cookies and Prison Escape. The others haven't gotten much, if any, attention in forever. As for PC, the only games I enjoyed on PC are unplayable anymore. They're too old for a computer to run. I've tried the DOS Box thing, but I didn't have the slightest clue how to use it. I've tried the Run Programs For Previous Versions Of Windows in the control panel, again with no luck. So I have no interest in PC with an exception or two. I have a Steam account and some games through there, but still PC gaming as a whole just doesn't interest me. What doesn't grab your interest?
  20. Hear me out on this. There is one problem. The more you game, the better you get at the game. The better you get, the easier the game itself becomes. Often, that leads to boredom with the game, because it's just too easy. Two games that I have mastered ae Zelda A Link To The Past (SNES), and Zelda Ocarina Of Time (N64). There are a couple things in Ocarina that I haven't been able to accomplish. I'm a horrible shot on it with the bow, so I've never been able to acquire a bigger quiver. But I have moved away from playing them as much as I used to, because they have begun boring me due to how easy they have become. It's part of why my gaming library is so massive. I play a game so much, that it becomes too easy. So I lose interest for a long time and have to find something else. Open world games offer much more, but some of us aren't all that into it. I'm a classic/retro gamer. I don't play much past the N64/PS1 era. My interests stick almost exclusively to early cartridge systems. Atari 2600, NES, SNES, N64, PS1, and a few PS3 games.
  21. I thought you had posted a video saying you were banned here?
  22. Footlong. Bread - Italian Herbs & Cheese Sandwich - Spicy Italian Cheese - American (extra) Toppings - Lettuce, Tomatoes, Parmesan, severe overload of Jalapeños. By severe overload, I literally mean if I can see the tomatoes while they're making it, there aren't enough jalapeños on it. And finally, toasted.
  23. Yes I wear a watch. I'm a Citizen snob. I have 3 and I change back and forth between them fairly often. It's the only brand of watch I'll wear. They're gorgeous, reliable, and the best watches on the market.
  24. Coming from someone who plays Hatred a lot, peaceful resolutions aren't exactly something I desire. Now a third option to make a murder in-game more gruesome, painful, and devastating would be great.
