  1. I'll make this short and sweet. Has anyone else encountered these in RDR2? I'm still trying to find out what the hell is up with a god damn mountain talking to me, but Satan, apparently turned out to be some lunatic hiding in a cave. The wolfman however, that guy is truly frightening. He runs all over the woods completely nude, tries to howl like a wolf (failing miserably I might add) and is more erratic than Charles Manson on crack. There's plenty of other weird shit, but I had to ask for impressions and thoughts on these.
  2. The fault is entirely on the shoulders of the idiots at Microsoft that picked the name. Imagine the shit storm if Nintendo had called the SNES "Another Nintendo". Nintendo would be bankrupt most likely, and several of their systems wouldn't exist.
  3. It doesn't require internet to play. I have it on my Switch, so I could help guide you on there, but I don't really do much buying on PlayStation. I have my Switch set up with my PayPal so it goes through instantly when I buy a game. I would imagine it's all the same process on all systems. Set up your account, link a payment option, and you're good to go.
  4. Where are you looking? It was $20 on the Nintendo eShop when I bought it. That was its normal price. It wasn’t on sale or anything like that.
  5. It all depends what I’m playing. But in general, it’s just a small TV in my office. Those are my cartridge systems. If I’m playing something like RDR2 for example, then it’s on my big screen TV in the front room.
  6. To answer your last question about what god is: a myth, no different than the tooth faerie. Satan was never a name to begin with. If you look into the history of the word, you will find that it is used only twice in the buybull. Neither time was it used in reference to any particular item/being. It literally meant “adversary” and “opposition”. As for what we oppose, it’s things such as racism, poverty, mandatory religious doctrine, and inequality in all forms. We’re not saying people who live in poverty are doing something wrong. Typically they don’t have any choice in the matter. What we oppose is that they are forced into that situation, when there is more than enough resources to help them if people were willing. The mandatory religious doctrine is especially blatant here in Missouri. Before a woman can get an abortion, she has to take a religious pamphlet produced by the xtian church, and wait 3 days. It’s an attempt to instill guilt and shame on her for wanting the procedure. TST has actually been fighting a legal battle here over this. But they’re gaining little ground. This is a red and overchristianized state. Also we made a move in Arkansas, about them having the 10 commandments on the state capitol grounds. So they took the Baphomet down there. It was a demonstration about the separation between church and state. That if one religion could have a monument, then they were legally bound by the constitution to allow all religions to display a monument. TST is fighting for the common good among all people no matter who they are, or how they identify.
  7. Most people think “Satan” is a name, which it’s not. It’s a simple word that means opposition. We use the word to make our stance towards the status quo known. We question everything. We take nothing at face value. Face value = false value. I don’t see how it’s hypocritical. That’s a very close minded way of looking at it. Like most, you judge by the name without looking into who it is that’s using it, and what they stand for. We’re not LaVeyan Satanism. That’s all hocus pocus, with little to no value in today’s world. In 1966, sure. In 2020 however, no.
  8. Is anyone else here a member? Or considering membership? I joined last year, and it has been very rewarding. For me at least. The campaigns they engage in are things that I 100% support. I have felt a sense of community since joining, and even joined the local (unofficial) chapter. There are 7 tenets as outlined by TST. One should strive to act with compassion and empathy toward all creatures in accordance with reason. The struggle for justice is an ongoing and necessary pursuit that should prevail over laws and institutions. One’s body is inviolable, subject to one’s own will alone. The freedoms of others should be respected, including the freedom to offend. To willfully and unjustly encroach upon the freedoms of another is to forgo one's own. Beliefs should conform to one's best scientific understanding of the world. One should take care never to distort scientific facts to fit one's beliefs. People are fallible. If one makes a mistake, one should do one's best to rectify it and resolve any harm that might have been caused. Every tenet is a guiding principle designed to inspire nobility in action and thought. The spirit of compassion, wisdom, and justice should always prevail over the written or spoken word. Personally I feel that the tenets show a lot of wisdom. I have my own personal tenets (14 to be exact) but I also apply these to everyday life. If anyone is interested the here is the link to The Satanic Temple. There is a whole host of information there about the org.
  9. Something I've never been able to figure out. Why do so many videos have edited lyrics? Look at rap and metal videos, and the lyrics are almost always cleaned up for the video. Why though? I truly don't get it.
  10. You can't go wrong with Layers Of Fear: Legacy. It's a Rose Red style game, and is truly awesome.
  11. I was at Walmart last night, and looking through their games section. I picked this up to look at, and it seemed intriguing. Now I've never been the biggest fan of apocalyptic games, but I was somewhat impressed. I haven't bought it, because I honestly know nothing about the series. But to those that have played Fallout, is Fallout 4 worth getting, or is this a big pass?
  12. Castlevania (original on NES) Symphony Of The Night Castlevania II Simon's Quest Castlevania 64 Lords Of Shadows
  13. I have to agree on Alucard. He is a much more in-depth character than Richter or Simon. SOTN is towards the top of my list for favorite Castlevania games, if not number one.
  14. Today is my 2 year anniversary from when I joined the forum.
  15. It doesn't really matter to me, as long as I'm not paying extra for a fancy case. The PC I'm using now has one side that's clear and neon lights on the fans. But I would be happy with it if it was in an old white case from the Win95 era.
  16. Covers are incredibly boring. It turns me off on a lot of games. My typical logic thinking is that if they put so little effort in making an attractive cover, then what is to make me think the game will be any better? Or even good for that matter. Back in the early days, game covers were all artistic as hell. beautiful drawings. I mean look at these: Beautiful, right? Now look at this. Cover art has seriously gone down in quality.
  17. Biden and Harris have a lot of work to do to fix all the fuckups that Adolf and Adolf junior implemented. They destroyed this country as much as they could, and made us a laughing stock. Our allies all abandoned us. The UK was hanging by a thread in our favor. But we couldn't call on them simply because of Adolf. Even Canada told us to fuck off. Now that both Adolfs are out, our former allies may give us another chance.
  18. Adolf is out, and Hero Joe is President! The nation can finally be fixed and run correctly. 4 years of hell under a nazi dictatorship are finally over.
  19. Nope. I keep them all. I know for a fact that I’ll regret it instantly if I do, so I opt to keep them.
  20. From the little bit of open world games I’ve played, it’s a difficult toss up between RDR2 and Skyrim. The Witcher just couldn’t grab me, nor could BOTW. I’ll give them another shot at some point in the future, I’m sure. But right now they just don’t do it for me. Now taking into consideration that I’ve always been a major fantasy nut, Skyrim would seem to be the obvious choice. But RDR2 has a family setting that I have longed for, for damn near 39 years. So personally I just can’t pick one over the other.
  21. @DCauctioned off 2 of them. Otherwise a pillow works in a pinch.
