  1. Does Microsoft Edge count?
  2. Yes. The Vita took the PSP out of the market, the way the GBA took the Game Boy out of the market.
  3. That's @Shagger for you. His eye catches things that no one else's does. Sometimes I think that, in actuality he doesn't have eyes, but microscopes inserted into his head.
  4. All I can say on that, is that the trailer said they were from the same studio. I honestly have no knowledge on the subject.
  5. Is game pass worth getting? I'm looking at it, and I'm thinking that a game I have been waiting for like crazy may only be available with Game pass, as the end of the trailer said something about it. So I'm just wanting to know if game pass is worth getting, or if it's a ripoff.
  6. I bought disc's for both of them. The main reason I got them is because they are made by the same studio that is putting out Tell Me Why Which I have been waiting for forever.
  7. Anyone played it? How is it? I bought Life Is Strange and Life Is Strange: Before The Storm on eBay a couple weeks ago. I got them on Xbox One. I didn't get LIS 2 yet, due to the price. But I wanted to see what those that have played it think of it. With Beyond The Storm, I got the limited edition, So I'm not sure I'm going to open it or not. I may get another copy to play and keep this one unopened. But it does have the complete season, so I'm unsure yet. It looks really good to me. But I wanted to hear from an experienced eye on it.
  8. Since he's anti-Mac, that means he has some brains.
  9. I’m a massive hockey fan, but don’t play hockey games. The only sport game I play is snowboarding games. But that’s because I was a pro-am snowboarder when I was younger.
  10. Not including any big franchises: NES - Blaster Master SNES - Illusion Of Gaia N64 - Conker’s Bad Fur Day
  11. It sounds like an early Mac. I think an Apple 200.
  12. Where exactly did I say I was proud of it? I merely mentioned that I did it, as it was relevant to this thread.
  13. I hadn't thought of that. Nintendo being so much older, it is generally looked at as a family system. you're right on the money there. I remember when PS1 and Xbox came out, they were looked at instantly as adult themed systems due to the games that were released on them. People thought they weren't intended for children. Then when games like GTA and COD started coming out on PS2 and Xbox 360, people "knew for a fact" that those systems were strictly for adults. They didn't have mascot games like Mario and Sonic. So you're right on this one.
  14. I was 4. My cousin had shoved me off my bike and broke my collarbone. So I was kept home from school for a couple weeks at a friend of my parents house. They had an Atari with both Pac-Man and Pitfall. I gamed my ass off.
  15. Like what? A dick? And when and where did she force anything on anyone? I don't recall that in her 8 years as First Lady.
  16. I use Soulseek. I find it better. But it's not necessarily a music service all together. It's a file sharing program. But it works good to find songs.
  17. I honestly didn't watch a whole lot of The Late Show. I watched The Tonight Show. But Letterman was a great host. I don't like Colbert much. He's just too dry to me.
  18. If they're pushing it back to make sure it works and plays as it should, then I can give them a pass. If they aren't sure about the game, they have no right to release it until the are. But if they announce a game a year early, and keep pushing back the release date for the same reason over and over, that's bullshit. Any game developer should keep their mouth shut about release dates until the polishing is done, and all the bugs they were able to find are fixed. Only gamers can point out all the bugs in a game, and developers aren't perfect. They will miss a lot. So a beta release is when things will be an even greater experience for the game. I encountered a game crashing bug within an hour of my first time playing Skyrim. It soured me for a while. One thing I didn't have available to me on the PS3 was the option of character choice and customization. Also It didn't give me the choice of first or third person. That's a buggy ass game.
  19. I don't know a lot about android as I only had one briefly. I went back to iPhone because I hated the android. But with Switch you can put micro SD cards in it for extra storage space. If you're willing to spend the money, you can even get 1Tb cards. That's more space than any mobile platform cna handle that I'm aware of. Also, the Switch was made specifically for gaming. Android was made to be a phone.
  20. That's not entirely true. For a misanthropic introvert, human interaction is actually a bad thing. Add sociopathy on to that, and the further we are from people the better. That's why almost every form of relationship I have is strictly online. I can count the number of people that I actually care about on one hand. But all they have to do is fuck me once, and the number goes down. People get only one chance with me. Once that chance is blown they never get another one. And I will haunt them until I have ruined them. Never Forgive. Never Forget.
  21. Other gamers opinions shouldn't even be in the mix. For example I hate GTA games. They are completely pointless to me. If I was a well known reviewer, would my review and opinion matter? Because I guarantee it wouldn't be a good one. The same goes for COD and similar games. Nothing good to say there either. But then again I could go on for hours about how great FF8 is. Which until FF13 came out, was the most disliked entry in the entire series. Or I could rave nonstop about snowboarding games. Do those reviews change anyone's mind here? I highly doubt it. But you are right on one thing. If there's a demo you can get on, then that's the best way to see if you will like a game or not.
  22. Does anyone else here ever binge game? Like you get up in the morning, and decide to get on a game and spend the entire day on that game? Even go into the night? I have done it a lot. Recently I binged FF8. I started a new file on my Switch, and went all the way to the end of disc 3. I typically don't go into disc 4, because it's boring as hell. All that's left to do is Ultimecia's castle. That's not the only game. I have done it with every Zelda game I have played with the only exception being Twilight Princess, as I was severely disappointed with that game. I've also done it with Castlevania games. I've done it with a hell of a lot of games. A few weeks ago I wanted to set a personal record binge. I wanted to go for 24 straight hours. I started up that FF8 file I already mentioned, and didn't stop except to go to the bathroom. I started it at 9:00 PM (2100) and went until 9:00 the next night without stopping. At 9:05, I was out. I slept until noon the next day. But I set a new personal record. Something I'll never attempt again. But does anyone else binge gaming?
  23. I think that regardless of who is in office, foreigners have always gotten a laugh out of American politics. It's fucking nuts.
  24. An update on the marines. They actually do use live ammunition in training now. But they use rubber bullets. So yes, soldiers are getting shot, but not lethally. Rubber bullets hurt like hell, and make you think it penetrated the flesh, but they don't. The corps think it trains the infantry better. The marine corps are fucking morons.
  25. Thanks. While I use a PC, I've been out of the technical side of it since Win98. So I don't have a clue about much of anything anymore. And I have never even come near UNIX or LINUX, so I don't know anything about them other than their name. But from what I gather from your reply, I'm assuming they're an operating system like DOS?
