  1. This doesn't really affect me, because I don't really play those kind of games. But I think that loot boxes should be limited to adult only games. They should not be a part of child friendly games. Because, like @killamch89 said, children have, without realizing it, ended up costing their parents thousands of dollars because of loot boxes.
  2. That last sentence was supposed to say "If I CAN get one good nights sleep". Not "If I can't". Like I said, no sleep, little brain activity.
  3. Ok, I got started playing AC 3 tonight for the first time. THIS GAME IS AWESOME! I may have hated the first one initially, but this one is amazing. I’m not far into it yet. I’m on the ship to Boston, about to look into a possible mutiny. Don’t spoil it for me. I didn’t go too far because I haven’t been sleeping lately, so my brain can’t process a lot of new information at the moment. If I can’t get one good nights sleep, I’ll be going nuts playing this game. I’m so glad I got it on my Switch.
  4. Am I the only one that always thought that Dragon Ball Z went too far into the goofy category? I was never a fan of anime, but I don't have anything in particular against it. It's just not my cup of tea. And I don't have anything against those that like it. More power to you. But DBZ just always seemed way too goofy to me.
  5. Blue, orange, purple. Find the mystery.
  6. I would highly recommend picking up a PS3. there are a few games on it that I haven't seen released for the current generation. Maybe it's just me and I haven't come across them, but to my knowledge they have so far only been available on the PS3. A few GoW titles like Chains Of Olympus, Ghost Of Sparta, and Ascension. Chains Of Olympus was my first GoW game and I had it on PSP. It's the game that got me into the series. To my knowledge, correct me if I'm wrong, Dantes Inferno was a game that was only released on the PS3. You also have games that you can go a bit back in time on like FFX & X2. Or if you just want a Blu-ray player that doubles as a game console. That's another good reason to pick one up. That's what I use one of mine for. I currently have 4 PS3's.
  7. Orange, purple, blue. Discover the mystery.
  8. I'm not familiar with the game. What is it on? Console or PC? What is it about?
  9. The systems I play are long gone in the "upgrade" category. There's very little that I even touch past the N64/PS1 era. Occasionally I play a PS3 game, but that's rare. I have a total of 9 games on Switch but the only 2 that I really play are Links Awakening and FF8. So again, back in the old days. I'm starting to think I'm about the only person that has even touched a SNES in the last 20 years, let alone played one. I'm also wondering if my copy of F-Zero isn't older than some of the people at this forum. BTW the game still works.
  10. There is no joke whatsoever in my statement. I offered you facts. You apparently don't like it when presented with truths.
  11. The original NES. It's still the best system ever released to this day.
  12. I have no real intentions of buying anything new at all. The only reason I would buy a nextgen system is if there was a game on it that I just absolutely had to have. That's the only reason I have an Xbox One. I'm waiting for the release of Tell Me Why.
  13. Links Awakening on Switch last night. I had to put it up though, because my bird was crying for me. For those of you from the UK, that's an actual bird with feathers. A Conure to be exact. It's not a woman.
  14. The Sharks? Seriously? You need to join the right team. The Detroit Red Wings are the best team in the NHL. We're having a horrible season this year, but that's irrelevant. The Wings are the best team ever. That's just a bone hard, stone cold fact.
  15. I might be going to St. Louis this weekend. Spend the day going to the science center, and if I have time the art museum. The science center is having a big Leonardo da Vinci exhibit with a lot of recreations of his designs. Things like the Aerial Screw. I'm a humongous "fan" (only word I can think of) of da Vinci.
  16. Have you ever intentionally bred any animals?
  17. I never had any. I was too busy dodging fists and boards.
  18. I have some sort of weapon in my hands at all times. Yes this includes when I’m sleeping, and I take something into the shower with me as well. I’m paranoid schizophrenic, and being a sociopath on top of that I don’t trust my own shadow. I’m constantly looking around at my surroundings, even when I’m sitting at home watching TV. If you were to see me unarmed, that would mean that you are at my funeral. I can throw a knife. I can throw a shuriken. I’m a dead eye with a rifle and a bow. And I’m no slouch with a pistol. I have no qualms about taking a human life. I’ve been shot before. I’m no stranger to random violence. It’s just a normal part of life. An average day. Nothing more, nothing less.
  19. I was forced to watch a couple YouTube videos to figure out what the hell I was supposed to do in Goddess Of Wisdom a couple times. Other than that, I just watch videos for entertainment. Like AVGN, Gameranx, Zeltic, and random others.
  20. Astynax is a side scroller medieval game. It’s a bit different from what most would expect, but it’s a lot of fun.
  21. If I wanted a damn PC tower, I would buy a damn PC tower.
  22. I think as time goes by they're all going to do what they can to phase out all physical games and everything will digital downloads. PlayStation, Nintendo, Xbox, and any other competitors that enter the mix whether they make it or not. But after seeing the train wreck that is Google Stadia, I highly doubt we'll see many new challengers to the Big 3.
  23. If anyone is into ROM-Hacks, for your own sanity I recommend you stay way the hell away from the 3 Zelda R/H's on SNES. I've been playing Goddess Of Wisdom for a few years now, and have only just discovered the location of a third dungeon. This game is so far beyond hard that it's crossed the line of being fun long ago. Now it's in the realm of having to beat it just so you can say you did, and feel that small sense of self satisfaction. Or so that you can wipe your ass with it afterward. Whichever is a more attractive choice. I'm opting for choice number two. It's the type of game that you don't even like playing anymore due to the difficulty, but you're too damn hard headed to quit until you beat it. That's how I was with DKC1 and DKC2. And now I absolutely despise that franchise. And the worst thing about it is that due to it being a ROM-Hack, there are no guides or walkthroughs. There are no cheat codes. There's just you getting butt fucked by the Master Sword while all of Hyrule howls with laughter. And if the Master Sword is in this game, I haven't seen a damn trace of it anywhere.
  24. T&C Surf Designs is another one. I think most people passed on it because it's made by LJN. Granted they put out a lot of horrible games, but this one was actually really good. With the exception of the surfing part, it wasn't too difficult, and was loads of fun. Another is Super C. I know it couldn't touch the first one, but it was still a really sweet entry into the Contra series. Conker's Bad Fur Day. Why does no one remember this one? Even though it was an adult game, it was a blast. It's as if it's been swept under the rug of shame in an attempt to be forgotten. I don't get that. Hexen. Everyone wanted Doom. No one wanted a medieval version. The cost of that? They missed out on one hell of an awesome game. Final Fantasy VIII. Up until FF13, FF8 was the worst received entry into the series. Players had difficulty with the junctioning system, they didn't like the characters, the storyline was like nothing they had seen. Gamers just didn't like it. Now it has a cult following of die hard fans, myself included. Dantes Inferno. Why does no one talk about this one? It's one of the most mesmerizing games that ever came out on the PS3. Yet people seem to have either not noticed it, or they were just like "meh". There are also several of the old, old, old classics but I'm not going to get into them or I would be posting all day.
