  1. What is the worst outfit you’ve ever seen a character in a video game wearing? This is for both playable characters and NPC’s. But not outfits that can be designed by the gamer. The worst to me is Dr. Odine in FF8. The thing that gets me the most is that stupid ass collar that he’s wearing. I can’t stand that damn thing. I absolutely can’t think of anything else that I hate as much as that fucking collar.
  2. I don't watch a lot of TV, usually just YouTube. But the best movie I've seen this year is by far La Llorona.
  3. La Llorona Billion/10 Bought it yesterday and watched it as soon as I got home. This movie just gets better and better every time I watch it.
  4. I just realized that my brain wasn’t fully engaged yet with my previous post. I had only been awake for about 20 minutes when I made it. I forgot about Wind Waker on Game Cube. It’s a cartoon. That’s all that needs to be said. But requiring a boat to go from island to island was a major fuckup.
  5. Let's list some of the differences. I'm not counting spin offs like Link's Awakening or Majora's Mask. Strictly Hyrule games. 1) (NES) no towns of any kind, triforce broken into 8 pieces, dungeon bosses reused 2) (NES) multiple towns, dungeons all look the same and turned to mountain upon defeat, roaming monsters throw you into short battles, hyrule has grown 100 times its previous size, no selectable items, spells 3) (SNES) back to one town, now have a light world and dark world, lake hylia, kakariko town is the only town, piece of heart introduced (not counting Link's Awakening), master sword created 4) (N64) kokiri forest, gorons, gerudos, death mountain is now a volcano, multiple new items, multiple items lost from previous Zelda, time travel, songs required on ocarina to reach certain dungeons, different clothes (tunics, boots) required, navi 5) (Wii) goat herding, never before seen towns and provinces, races severely reimagined, more new races, midna replaces navi, turned into wolf That's just NES through Wii. I didn't include Game Cube because if memory serves me correctly, there was just one game on Game Cube, and that was 4 Swords. Which wasn't a Hyrule game. I know there was a release of Ocarina Of Time along with the ocarina master quest. I know that because I have it. But that one doesn't count for Game Cube because it was a rerelease from a previous system. If I missed any major differences, point them out and let's discuss them.
  6. Try Amazon and eBay. Those are your best chances to find it. If you don’t see it right now, check back periodically. I’ve found games and other stuff that way. I say eBay is more likely to have it.
  7. There have been 2 for me. Solar Jetman on NES, and another I can't remember the title of that was on PS3. I hated Solar Jetman because with the slightest touch of the D-pad the fucking thing would spin uncontrollably. There wasn't shit you could do with the damn thing. And that was when I was a kid and spent $50 on the damn game. The PS3 game, I took it back about 30 minutes after I bought it. OMG it was the worst video game ever imagined in the history of gaming. I played a new game file FF8 nonstop until I was at the end of the 3rd disc, just to get that damn game out of my head. Needless to say, that burn me out on FF8 for several months. But it did the trick.
  8. It's been a long time since I've come across a truly cryptic game. Even in the PS3/Xbox360 era, they were few and far between. There were bosses here and there that had specific patterns and whatnot that you had to follow to beat them. In God Of War (Chains Of Olympus I think) when you fight Charon, you have to follow a specific battle plan. And often if you don't have a players guide, you're screwed. Then there's Zelda: Oracle Of Ages. How are you supposed to learn how to beat the mini boss in dungeon 4? Its shield is indestructible, so you can't land a hit. You have to let him destroy his own shield, which takes careful maneuvering. Yeah, I knew that going in the first time. Note the sarcasm. FF8 had a lot of cryptic parts. Summoning Doomtrain for example. Even if you find the Solomon ring, you would have to have all issues of Occult Fan magazine before you would have the slightest clue what the ring did, on your first time through. Enter players guide. That's what it took for me to figure out what the fucking thing was for the first time I got it.
  9. MDK is free now. It’s a Win95 game, but it was awesome as hell. There’s another one called Dark Earth. It’s a bitch to find, but if you can, it’s more than worth the search.
  10. The only game in that genre that I can think of off the top of my head at the moment that I ever really enjoyed was Excitebike (NES).
  11. Having a heart attack from the second quest on the original Legend Of Zelda. It's probably been 30 years since I've touched that quest and I can't remember a damn thing. I'm having to use Google and zeldadungeon.com just to have a fucking clue what the hell I'm doing. It's got me so fried that here in a few minutes I'm gonna get a better look at something else. The back of my eyelids.
  12. Due to being beaten daily, that would be when day my sperm donor (aka father) died.
  13. I got the wrong song up there. Ignore that one. The right song is this one.
  14. I'm gonna catch hell for this one, but as a series, I would haze to say Zelda. If you look at the series over time, every game is so wildly different and the quests are so different that it seems like they're running out of ideas. I mean compare A Link To The Past to Wind Waker. Then look at Zelda 2. Now we have Breath Of The Wild. None of them have anything in common, except Link, Zelda , and Hyrule. Another wildly different one is Twilight Princess. None of them are remotely similar to another one. They are just getting worse and worse. Which is really sad, because it could have been the greatest series that Nintendo ever released. And it was. For a while. Also what the fuck happened to SMB? It disappeared after SNES. Mario64 was fun, but why wasn't Luigi anywhere in existence? I know Peach wrote the letter to Mario, but that doesn't satisfy me.
  15. It's a record fact that Baby has gotten the most dislikes of any video on YouTube ever. I think it's funny as hell that its gotten so much hate. Personally, while I think the kid has a good voice, I can't stand any of his music. Don't get me wrong on this one. Blaze kicks some major ass. I love his music. But this song fucking sucks. I always skip it.
  16. For the longest time I HATED Barbie Girl, and by association Aqua. But these days it doesn’t really bother me the way it used to. But there’s no music from the entire 90’s that I can stand with the rare exception, here and there. So it’s pretty much a moot point now.
  17. I’m talking to a couple publishers and looking into the possibility of self publishing, just as soon as I find an editor I like. One of my novels isn’t gonna be published for a very long time, because I’m rewriting a huge chunk of it. I never liked the part of the story from the moment I wrote it, and to this day I still don’t know what the hell it was that convinced me to keep it. I have 3 short stories finished but I want to get a lot more ready and compile them into a book.
  18. The release date is set for September 20th. I'll be picking it up, mostly because I play the game constantly on my GBA SP. I can't wait to see how it works on the Switch. https://www.nintendo.com/games/detail/the-legend-of-zelda-links-awakening-switch/
  19. Absolutely. FF8 definitely should get one. It's an absolutely beautiful game. The story and characters are so captivating, that I feel like they are my brothers and sisters. Family that I love. Especially since I didn't have real family growing up.
  20. I would just like to see one of the books I've written made into a movie. That would be really cool.
  21. I try to avoid games like that. Be it Star Wars, Lord Of The Rings, The Matrix, or any other game that comes from a movie franchise. It has been my experience with them that the creators were more about selling a brand than in making a decent game.
  22. I assume by "troubling everything" you mean chewing on furniture? I would personally say furniture be damned, and get the dogs inside in that kind of heat. The possessions can be replaced Your babies can't.
  23. Storyline. I don’t care how advanced or primitive the graphics are, if the story sucks, then every aspect of the game sucks. It doesn’t matter if it’s a really in depth story(Skyrim), or a short story(Zelda Links’s Awakening). It has to have a captivating story.
  24. I always go with what I feel a better connection with. And that’s always a female elf. I don’t know why I feel that connection, but it’s always the same base character. When I was a kid and played D&D I always played an elf. Never any other race. Now if I’m playing a game and elves aren’t an option, then I pick/design as close to an elf as I can get.
  25. I’ve gotten to a point where I simply can’t stand playing those games. Solitaire, Minesweeper, etc. It’s hell on me for some reason. I actually end up in a seriously bad mood if I have to mess with them.
