  1. For me I would say I'm loyal to The Legend Of Zelda. Granted there are several that I flat out don't like. Wind Waker was too cartoony, Twilight Princess was just annoying with the whole wolf bullshit and the forced ability cutaways, Skyward Sword wasn't even a Zelda game. Those 3 I don't play. But aside from them, I'm a die hard fan, and have beaten almost every other Zelda game with just a few exceptions. I haven't beaten Oracle Of Seasons/Ages, Minish Cap, and BOTW. But that's because I just got into playing them recently. Older games from NES through N64 I have beaten. I did beat 4 Swords on GameCube as well, even though it wasn't really a true Zelda game either. But then again, neither was Majoras Mask, and I played the hell out of it. I'm not counting ROM-Hacks in this list. I have 2 out of the 3 that are available on SNES, and the games are so god damn hard I honestly wonder even IF I'll ever beat them.
  2. Check Craigslist. There's always tons of Switch's for sale on there, and usually for a really good price.
  3. I remember this one too unfortunately. Although I was in my mid/late teens when it came out. I don't know how many brain cells I lost as a result of hearing this song. 90's music, if it can even be called that, is the reason I can't stand radio today. The only thing that ever plays in my car are CD's. Absolutely nothing else. Ever. God forbid the radio be on and Justin Bieber, or even worse Talentless Skank (oops I mean Taylor Swift), starts playing. I would jump out in the middle of the interstate to get away from that shit.
  4. This one is the reason we need time travel. So we can go back and kill certain songwriters.
  5. The scary thing is that these 2 songs were both extremely popular.
  6. Take On Me is one of my favorite songs. A-ha was always a great band.
  7. I could say I game for 10-12 hours every day, but I’m really scatterbrained and get sidetracked extremely easily. So while I may have a game up and running, sometimes I’m paying more attention to something else and the game sits paused for 30+ minutes repeatedly throughout the day. Pets come before games. When they tell me they want attention, the game gets stopped until they’re done with me.
  8. I would die for my pitbull because she would die for me.
  9. The whole group in FF8. Squall, Rinoa, Zell, Irvine, Selphie, and Quistis. When I shut the game off to go to bed or whatever, I always feel like I left the party early and everyone else is still hanging out having fun. Like when you're a kid and no one wants to leave because, god forbid, you be the first one to go home and then find out the next day that you missed something huge. It's that kind of thing for me with them. This next thing I'm about to say it pretty pathetic, but I'm going to say it anyway. They FF8 group are about the only family I have.
  10. When I was a kid (probably somewhere around 15-16) I decided I wanted to do a perfect run all the way through Zelda A Link To The Past. So I got on my SNES and started a new game. I only took a like 2 maybe 3 bathroom breaks and otherwise stayed on the game. Played every dungeon, got every heart piece, upped my arrow and bomb capacities all the way, and got every item. It took all day for me, but I did it and had a perfect score of zero afterward. That game was what made me burn out on gaming for a year. But hey I achieved what I wanted and now I'm back. So it's all good.
  11. I would have to go with a review that focuses on story, characters, and themes. If I see a review like that it will tell me quickly if it's a game that I could possibly like. I can figure out everything later like gameplay and mechanics. As for graphics I don't give the slightest bit of a shit how good or bad they are. Some of my absolute favorite games are on the Atari 2600 and the NES. So, considering the graphical era that we're currently in, that should tell you automatically that graphics mean absolutely nothing to me. I want to know, "Am I playing Zelda or Doom?". If I don't know whether pressing "B" is going to draw a sword or fire a plasma rifle, then a review of only the mechanics and technical side of a game has about as much value as a rat turd in a corn field.
  12. I never knew that they shot a video for Dear Mama. That was an amazing video. It's a beautiful song to begin with, and the video just adds so much to it. If I had been lucky enough to have a mother like his, I would have turned out so much better.
  13. It just looks like a goofy sci-fi Diablo 3. And it sure as hell doesn't look like a Contra game.
  14. All hail the almighty god damn dollar.
  15. My 70 pound pitbull does the same thing. She also has it in her head that she’s a lapdog. I guess she thinks she’s also a chihuahua since I have 3 of them as well. It’s kinda funny because one of the chihuahuas more or less owns her. They’re best friends, but he is definitely the dominant one out of the two. Watching him chase her all over the yard or chase her away if he’s got a treat and doesn’t want to share is absolutely hilarious.
  16. Exactly how old are you @skyfire? You’re in your 20’s aren’t you? So shut your fucking mouth. I’m 37, and I can guarantee you that I can game longer than you without any kind of issues.
  17. How do you figure?
  18. At the moment I don't know what's up, what's down, what's left, or what's right. I laid in bed awake all night. I never went to sleep at all. I'm on Ambien, and when I need it I take a melatonin, but nothing worked. I'm also on a few other meds that I have to take at bedtime because they have a sedative side effect. But I still have the occasional bout of insomnia. It also didn't help that one of my chihuahuas kept kicking me last night.
  19. You make a very good point. You don’t have to like a company to like a product. I absolutely hate Walmart, but still shop there because it’s convenient and they honestly do have the best prices. Also I’m not a fan of Glocks, not because of anything mechanical, just because I find them unattractive. They’re some of the highest quality handguns you can own, I just don’t like their cosmetic appearance. Another is I don’t like Matthew Santoro, but I enjoy most of his videos.
  20. People may laugh at this, but this forum is the closest I come to online gaming. I've given it a fair shot several times in different games and different platforms, and I just hate it.
  21. There was a kid, I think in South Korea, that dropped dead at a gaming café after playing 51 hours straight of an online game without breaks, except maybe to go to the bathroom. I don't remember which game he was playing. I know here in the states gaming cafes always have a closing time. Usually somewhere from 10pm to midnight. And normally they don't open until somewhere from noon until midafternoon. I used to hang out at one, just for something to do back when Diablo II was the hot new thing.
  22. Physical exercise is somewhat impossible for some people. Myself being one. I’m in a wheelchair for the rest of my life. I have advanced muscular dystrophy. It deteriorates the body’s muscular system and is a terminal disease. I’ll die in a wheelchair. I don’t have many options to stay occupied or entertained anymore. I can’t work due to the MD. I’m stuck at home.
  23. Being a classic gamer, used is my only avenue. And once a company releases a new system, games stop being made for the previous one. So they stop making money from the old stuff. Sony isn’t making money from PS2 games anymore, and Nintendo isn’t making money from N64 games anymore. So I highly doubt they give a shit. And considering that we’re in the classic/flashback era of systems, the real thing only exists for those of us who were there at launch.
  24. Probably around $150-$200. I honestly don’t remember. Some of my games are semirare and some are ultrarare. But that’s mostly because the ones in question never saw any real success when released. So no one kept them or even bought them to begin with. One game title I have is supposedly cursed, but I have yet to encounter the curse. I would say it’s one of my rarer games, but I think I got it for only around $20. I know I have a game or two that virtually everyone I’ve ever gotten into a conversation with has never heard of. What can I say? I’m a weird girl, and I’m into weird shit.
  25. "Objects simply fall." Why?
