Another thing, is don't respond in anger when it's just an argument. There are things that should never be brought into it, like someone's children. They are to be kept out the disagreement. But if someone does bring them into it, then a fist to the mouth is appropriate. The best is a calm, educated response. That is the best weapon in an arsenal of arguments.

I watched this video 3 times, but can't tell what exactly happened. I saw the 2 guys crash into each other, but that was about it. It's just part of playing sports. So I have no idea what exactly happened that made this one so bad. If someone can tell me, I would appreciate it.

9/11 probably tops everyone's list. Aside from that, for me it would probably be when Clint Malarchuk got his carotid artery cut on the ice when a couple players crashed into him and the blade on one of the skates sliced into his neck. He could have bled to death and died right there on the ice in front of everyone.

George Of The Jungle, and while not a cartoon per se, Fraggle Rock. They both come to mind for me. But you have to remember that I'm a child of the 80's, so cartoons were a lot different for me than just about everyone else here. There are a couple others. Felix The Cat Popeye Looney Tunes (the original ones) Scooby Doo (original series) He-Man And The Masters Of The Universe TMNT (original series) Super Mario Bros. Super Show (Zelda on Fridays) Those are just a handful. I also watched other shows like 21 Jumpstreet, In The Heat Of The Night, Bewitched, and I Love Lucy.

I'm already cynical as hell, so I'll just go with that one.

Knowledge defeats ignorance every time. If knowledge doesn't have much play, wit can also win the argument. When I was in boot camp, there was a recruit that was constantly bragging about how smart she is, how strong she is, and all sorts of other bullshit. One night when she was going on and on to try to prove some "superiority" that she thought she had over me, I simply looked at her and said "When you're done kissing your own ass I'll give you another response because, truth be told, my ass is full of shit too." She was so pissed off, that she didn't bother me again for quite a while.

In story mode you can unlock fast travel. I can’t say for online, but it’s a great tool to have.

Personally, I would die before I abandoned my babies. They're just as much family as a human could be. In some cases more so than that. I cut my biological human links out for reasons I'm not going to get into at the moment. But I would never leave my Lady behind. She is my heart and soul.

Getting this off the ground, with all their promises, is not going to happen. I don't think they have the slightest clue how hard it actually is to run a system at 8K, 120fps with HDR. This isn't child's play. Even the big 3 can't promise that. They can make systems that support it, but it takes them years and years of R&D to even approach something like this. “Some of you are not passionate about Web 3 and are only here for entertainment and FUD. But we will start banning people. Anything is possible when you are passionate about a problem. We will deliver. Stay tuned.” Holy hell, where do I even begin. This thing isn't even out, nor is it in development, and they're already talking about banning people. They're "passionate about a problem? They have no idea what they just said. It seems to me that they're living for those predicted problems. This is just another Truth Social project that will ban anyone who disagrees with them. They said themselves that they're doing this to fail. Not in those exact words mind you, but they've made that abundantly clear. And their fingerprint scanner? Do these jackasses even know how expensive that technology is?! And what the hell is this "wallet" feature? Is it a direct link to your bank account, or your crypyo/NFT collection? That is EXTREMELY problematic. Anyone could come along and wipe them out. There's a lot of people who don't want some unknown company to have their fingerprint, as that's a huge personal safety risk. With those two things alone, identity theft is definitely in this things future. They're just as bad, if not worse, than a politician. Promises of a glorious future (or in this case, product), with no delivery on those promises. This is a bad idea from all aspects. And if they were somehow to include everything they promise, this thing would cost $1,500 at least. No one is going to pay that. Even the PS5 and Series X/S scalpers weren't charging that much. And those 2 systems were in such high demand that some people were literally willing to kill for one. People got hurt in the stampede on launch day. Yet this thing is only going to be known to a handful of people, and they expect to sell it, and apparently, make a profit from it. I've seen deluded people before, but these 4 idiots take the grand prize.

Aside from me hating online gaming, RDR2 Online was a bad idea from the start. It was heavily different than the story mode, and it just felt like there was nothing to do, thus nothing to accomplish. @Rain Dew tried it for a while, and when I watched her play it, there was just nothing. It was completely pointless. Also the mere thought of gaming online literally makes me sick to my stomach. If it's your thing, more power to you. But personally I want to throw up .

Skyrim and Witcher 3. Being fantasy games, they should be right up my alley, as that's my absolute favorite genre. But they just don't draw me in or capture my interest. Also the controls for Skyrim are so wonky, that I just can't stand it.

There was a Win98 game that I always enjoyed. It was called Operation Weather Disaster. It was actually an educational game, but so much fun to play you didn't even realize you were learning.

1983 was when everyone thought gaming was dead. They thought that gaming would only be Atari 2600 and a few arcades. But then Nintendo hit the market in 1985, and everyone was hooked.

That's usually satellites that they are seeing. When the light hits them they are often brighter than the stars. It could also be the ISS as it makes multiple passes around the earth daily. It's not locked to one place, it flies around the earth at about 5,000 mph.

I lived on the street for 3 years. I never resorted to begging, but I didn't reject offers either. It's true, there are many who want to stay on the street. I myself have thoughts of going back. It's what felt, and still feels natural. I just don't want to end up in another shooting gallery.

As soon as I get things back in order in my personal life, and have the time to record, I'll be uploading again. @Rain Dew will be as well. Her main interest right now it FFXIV, and it's got her time. So she will most likely be doing that one for a long time. She may do a few live streams, but I doubt it.

Money. I already have Windows on my PC, so why the hell would I want it again? Also I don't know if such an "upgrade" would affect programs and files that I have on my computer at the moment. I know in earlier versions of Windows it did.

It's pretty much a bullshit move if you ask me, but they're due for this announcement. Personally I don't see myself "upgrading" to Win11 regardless of what they do.

Rather than have to deal with that kind of shit, I save all my files to either a thumb drive or an SSD/micro SSD card.

I actually had to look that one up, because I didn't believe he had that much. But you're spot on. He has more money than he could spend in 100 lifetimes.

After what happened last night, I'm not leaving the house for the next 2 days. PTSD is a bitch, but it hits harder for a lot of us around the 4th. There was a loud hard boom from fireworks last night, that sent me into a flashback from when I was in the military. From what @Rain Dew told me, I was on the ground with my .45 in my hand. She had to address me by my last name as if she was my CO. All I remember is pulling up in the driveway, and then I'm in the bedroom. If I could go back 22 years, I would tell myself not to enlist. But if I couldn't stop the enlistment, I would at least do what I could to get me to choose a branch other than the Marines.
