Money. I already have Windows on my PC, so why the hell would I want it again? Also I don't know if such an "upgrade" would affect programs and files that I have on my computer at the moment. I know in earlier versions of Windows it did.

It's pretty much a bullshit move if you ask me, but they're due for this announcement. Personally I don't see myself "upgrading" to Win11 regardless of what they do.

Rather than have to deal with that kind of shit, I save all my files to either a thumb drive or an SSD/micro SSD card.

After what happened last night, I'm not leaving the house for the next 2 days. PTSD is a bitch, but it hits harder for a lot of us around the 4th. There was a loud hard boom from fireworks last night, that sent me into a flashback from when I was in the military. From what @Rain Dew told me, I was on the ground with my .45 in my hand. She had to address me by my last name as if she was my CO. All I remember is pulling up in the driveway, and then I'm in the bedroom. If I could go back 22 years, I would tell myself not to enlist. But if I couldn't stop the enlistment, I would at least do what I could to get me to choose a branch other than the Marines.

Try pawn shops and flea markets. You can almost always find one there. Craigslist is a good place to look also. I got one from a pawn shop here that was CIB. And it only cost me $100.

Semi sized town. Roughly 120k permanent residents. But when school is in session (we have 3 major colleges) the population is well over 200k. But I grew up on a small stock farm raising horses and cattle mainly.

For my hands I use liquid soap. But I wet my hands first, then apply soap. I get my loofah wet then squirt in my body wash. It's just water first for me.

Tipping is definitely one. Here it's customary to leave a tip when you're out eating, at a bar, or getting a pizza delivered. But in other places (UK being one if I remember right) it's often seen as rude.

I'm not looking to make a career out of writing. I do it simply because I enjoy it. Some people have read my writing, but only people I would trust. And I actually have finished 2 novels, and a lot of short stories. But I'm revamping a huge part of one of them. I didn't like it when I read it, and for the life of me, I can't figure out why the hell I even kept it.

Something I've learned as an amateur author, is that if you don't have the itch to continue writing, you won't be able to write anything good. You have to be in the moment to be able to write. I've written a hell of a lot of unconventional poetry over the years, but I can't sit down and try to force myself to write.

That's easily Conker's Bad Fur Day. I can't help but laugh when I play it. I mean who could listen to the Great Mighty Poo sing and not crack up?

I watch a lot of RDR2 videos. Strange Man is a good channel. I don't watch a lot of gameplay for other games, unless it's something that I simply can't figure out. There is one channel I watch (can't remember who) that teaches you how to get any of the cards in FF8 without having to deal with a bunch of bullshit rules. So that's a major plus. Other than that, I don't really watch many gaming videos.

You can get some Atari games for less than a dollar in the right places. I have 4 or 5 consoles at the moment, and absolutely love it. I have a hell of a lot of games on it and play it like a fiend. I love the 2 bit graphics. It's just a cherished moment for me when I play it. What I'm wanting to do however, is get my hands on another Colecovision. But they're nowhere near cheap, unfortunately.

The 3D effect was neat, but it always made it more difficult to play the game for me. For example Zelda OoT was just harder than hell to play with it on. Like I said though, it was a great feature, but sometimes impractical.

I'm not published as of yet. I don't even know if I want to get published. It would be neat to see one of my books at Barnes & Noble. But I'm not going for it as of yet.
