  1. Welcome to the team @Yaramaki. Even though you've only been here a few months, I know you're going to be an asset to the board. You already were as a member, but now you're going to be one of the ones trying to keep @DC and @Shagger in line. 😉
  2. I've linked it more than once, so I don't recall exactly when I posted it.
  3. Are you lumping Satanism and Devil worship together, or do you know the difference?
  4. I still play Double Dribble on NES. I also play NCAA Basketball on SNES. I play hockey on Atari 2600 and NES. Aside from those few, I don't play sports games. They just don't appeal to me. But those are classics, so all is forgiven. Granted I have a ton of sports games for my Atari 2600, but I just haven't really gotten around to playing the majority of them yet.
  5. RDR2 by far. The actors put so much into the game's dialogue, and didn't mince words. There's emotion, inflection, and passion in their voices from the start of the game. It's the absolute best I have ever seen. Better than cartoons, movies, and general narration from any source. Roger Clark was the best actor in the entire game.
  6. Meaning things that have literally happened IRL I assume? The Rock is somewhat close. We saw domestic terrorism on January 6th. Tyranny and oppression reign supreme and have since 2016.
  7. Jurassic World: Dominion It wasn't too terribly bad, but it sure as hell wasn't the best one from the whole Jurassic Park/World franchise.
  8. Shawshank Redemption The Green Mile I know they're both Stephen King, and both are prison movies, but they're still a great movie day. If you want something different then The Meg and The Curse Of La Llorona make a great movie day as well.
  9. Personally, I always liked Ink Master. Here lately I have gotten into Forged In Fire. Both of those are solid choices to me.
  10. For me the closest I could come would be cartoons. I don't watch TV anymore. I just stream and watch YouTube. Family Guy American Dad South Park
  11. The Libertine (Johnny Depp was beyond amazing) Labyrinth Dark Crystal The Never Ending Story The Nightmare Before Christmas A Bronx Tale Blow Chocolat Sleepy Hollow Sweeney Todd Edward Scissorhands Shawshank Redemption The Green Mile Terminator 2 Unfriended: Dark Web Final Destination series Cry baby The Ninth Gate Beetlejuice The Bye Bye Man Conjuring/Annabelle series Storm Of The Century Saw series Misery The Island Of Dr Moreau Rose Red Winchester The Curse Of La Llorona The Book Of Eli John Q The Meg Gridiron Gang Walking Tall That's just a few to get started. I can add more if desired.
  12. I learned that in the electronics class that I took more than 20 years ago. The voltage hurts, but the amps kill. I have no idea how many amps the tazer has, but to push out that much voltage, it has to be higher than most. The typical voltage of amps around here is 20,000-50,000 on average. Anything in the millions (or in my case hundreds of millions) is unheard of. I've felt the 220v at homes, and believe me, with that kind of power it was a shocking experience. I'll have to look into it and see if I can find the amp count on it. If I do, I'll post it. Otherwise it will remain in the realm of speculation.
  13. My hands are about as sexy as a dog's ass.
  14. I always try to avoid those subjects unless I'm with someone I would trust. Then we are able to have a civil conversation. Otherwise, I stay away from either unless it's something that either affects me personally, or it's something extremely serious. Something that happened to me once was this: When I was in my early 20's (I'm 40 now) I worked at a Pizza Hut in a relatively small town. There was another girl there that was so overchristianized it was stomach churning. I am Satanic (NOT A DEVIL WORSHIPER. BIG DIFFERENCE). The moment she heard the word "Satanic" she went nuts. Every time we worked together she harassed me nonstop through my entire shift about religion. It finally got to the point that I filed a formal complaint with the manager about her harassment, but that went nowhere. So she then upped her intolerance. She started demanding that I go to church with her. I tried to throw her off by telling her she had to go to a black mass with me first and receive a Satanic baptism. She lost her shit on that. There was no black mass that I would take her to, I just wanted to shut her up. That didn't work. Finally since the managers refused to do anything about the harassment, I made a deal with her. That if I went with her ONE time, that she would never speak to me again, unless it was work related. She would never speak of religion again, and leave me alone. She agreed. So she picked me up bright and early on a Sunday. She drove to her church, and we both got out. As soon as she went in, I walked over to a friends house. The next time she saw me at work she, was, pissed. She went off on me, saying I lied to her about going to church. I told her that I never lied. She reiterated that I did. I looked her in the eye, and said "You wanted me to go to church. You picked me up and drove me there. I got out of the car and left. You never specified a specific activity or length of time. I held up my end of the bargain. So unless you want to be outed as a two faced liar you will leave me the hell alone." She was so pissed off she was red in the face. But she knew she couldn't argue what I said, because she knew I was right. She never bothered me again. I was known as an evil genius from then on in that town, that you had to be VERY specific with. I still have that reputation to this day.
  15. I'm the silent type when I'm around other people. I'm not comfortable in social situations, especially at other people's homes. I feel like I wear out my welcome in the first 5 minutes. I'm severely socially awkward. I may come off as strong and witty (or so I'm told) here at the forum. But if you were to meet me IRL, you would see something different. I'll never deny my values or convictions, no matter how uncomfortable it gets for everyone around. But aside from that, you won't really get a whole lot out of me. A lot of people (extroverts mainly) see that as being rude, but I don't give half a shit. You do you, I'll do me. If you still have a problem with that, would you like to get tazed or tazed? I own a 150,000,000 volt tazer. And that's not a typo. It's 150 million volts. There's a warning that came with it to never hold it on anyone for more than 2 seconds. just hit and draw back. Holding it on someone will cause permanent damage, and could potentially even be lethal. People also look down on that. "Why do you need one that powerful? Why are you trying to kill someone? Why don't you just punch them? Why don't you...." AH FUCK YOU. It's my life and none of your concern. So piss off or you can find out firsthand exactly how 150,000,000 volts feels.
  16. @DC @Heatman @Clasher @killamch89 One of Chris Rock's best ever was this one. No matter how many times I hear it, I laugh my ass off.
  17. Where is the EU house at? Since the UK left, I assume it's not on the island.
  18. George Of The Jungle was a great show. I always loved it. 1989. It ran for 52 episodes, so it didn't even run for a full year. But for it's short life span, it was a great show.
  19. Robin Williams (the godfather of comedy) Gabriel Iglesias Chris Rock Ron White Jeff Dunham I lose it when I watch them. I can't stop laughing. They are all absolutely hilarious.
  20. I don't really know of any documentaries that aren't heavily biased, so I won't recommend any of them. You can look around Amazon and eBay. Maybe you'll find something there. As for my knowledge, I'm both Hellenistic and Satanic. So I tend to know a bit about the Gods I pay homage to.
  21. @Reality vs Adventure "I honestly couldn't find anything in a couple of news articles that gave any real insight to why he was resigning." Ok first, if you only looked at a couple of articles, you're not going to find anything. You need to put more research into it. "Does that mean I can't post something with a question?'" Of course not. You can ask questions all day. We encourage that. It's how you learn. "Does that mean that for every post, there should be an explanation instead of just a video?" Preferably, yes. But often the videos explain themselves. If a person can add context to their post along with the video, that's great. I personally have posted probably dozens of videos over the years. Many were self explanatory. Many more required added context so they came across clearly and understandable. "Or should every post be more than one sentence?" Yes, we would love that. One line posts too often add nothing to the conversation. On a rare occurrence, a single sentence can add much to the discussion at hand. But even if that one sentence is all that's needed, it would be preferable to add more if you can. "Based on this standard, my post in Stoicism vs cynicism recently should be removed or criticized." If you want it removed, we can do that. If you want criticism, and it seems that you would want negative criticism just to prove your point, we can certainly do that as well. "This topic has largely fell under the radar for some reason in the news." That has nothing to do with it. If it "falls under the radar" as you put it, then that typically wasn't anything most people have to say. It wasn't engaging to a point that people felt like answering. Many posts go way back in the boards, simply because people didn't feel like responding to. There are probably close to 100 of topics I have posted that got one or two replies, and maybe 50 views. It's the nature of the beast. "So when I came across it I decided to post a question. So when I do actually put a lot of thought into something, nobody really responds." Again, it's just the natural order. I read tons of posts every time I come in here. The majority I don't respond to. Most people will read a topic and not respond. They feel at that time they have nothing to add to the conversation. Which is a great call. Don't reply until you have something to add to the discussion. "There are far too many topics that are posted with just a question even currently, w/o their own input or opinions." True, but sometimes a single question is all that's needed. Just less than an hour ago, I posted a question in the Mobile board asking about Diablo Immortal. I didn't really give any input other than it being a franchise I really like, and something I get advertisements on my phone a lot. But I asked many questions about it, since I don't know anything about it. Asking legitimate questions is what we prefer to see in posts when someone is trying to learn or get opinions. "This standard should go for all across the board and not just me." This is just bullshit. The standard is for EVERYONE. We're not persecuting you with requirements and standards specifically aimed at you. This is a whiny "woe is me" comment. You're playing the victim here, and that's not something ANYONE wants to have to read. "I've actually posted a topic a year ago about all new posts should include their own opinions and not just a question and I remember being told that people can post what they want." People can post what they want. And the vast majority of posts actually DO contain opinions and/or questions. So I don't get what you are wanting here. "So maybe all new posts should have a rule that they have to express their personal opinion and not just a question." Why? If I post a YouTube video do I have to write up a review of it first? No. From what I've seen virtually every post on this forum as a whole, is either a question or opinion. If you can point me in the direction of a post that's not, I'll definitely look into it. All that said, complaining in the way you did was exhausting to respond to as there are so many points that needed individual responses to. I hope this is enough to answer all your grievances. If it doesn't you can always review the Rules & Guidelines.
  22. In Greek history, Zeus is the king of the Gods. He is the God of the sky, and his brothers Poseidon and Hades took the other major places. Poseidon is the God of the sea, and Hades is the God of the underworld. Gaea was the Ancient Greek personification of the Earth, and, for all intents and purposes, the Mother of Everything Beautiful in the world. Born spontaneously – either out of Nothingness or out of Chaos – Gaea brought forth (among others) Uranus, with whom she subsequently mated to give birth to the Titans, themselves parents of most of the Olympians. Gaea rebelled against the reigns of all three rulers of the universe (Uranus, Cronus, Zeus), but, ultimately, she had to accept her grandson Zeus as the supreme king of all Gods and men.
  23. I'm getting a lot of advertisements for this game on my iPhone when my games go to an advertisement. I'm a huge fan of Diablo and Diablo II. So I'm curious about this game. Has anyone played it? Is it worth downloading? Is it microtransactions with the name Diablo and the Blizzard logo in the corner?
