  1. If you're looking for a new FF game you should try FF15. I don't know if you've played it yet, but it's a visually beautiful game. And the gameplay mechanics and storyline are amazingly great.
  2. Something I've wondered is do Xbox game discs work on PC? Both are Microsoft devices, but I'm going to assume that's like asking if an Xbox One disc would work on an Xbox 360, and vice versa. Just because they're made by the same company doesn't mean they're compatible. But still it's a curiosity of mine, especially since I rarely play Xbox.
  3. I think reviews are useless. They always have the reviewers bias, and mislead a lot of gamers. If you're going to do something like that, find a reviewer that plays a game unbiased and covers the actual gameplay, not what they think about the game or the way it plays. There are tons of gamers out there that hate SMB3, despite it being the best selling video game of all time. Then again, there are reviewers out there that absolutely love SMB3, and never really want to play much else. And there are also reviewers that are into a different game on a different system. And some that span multiple systems and multiple games. I just don't trust reviews, because they're always biased. I'll watch trailers, ad if a game seems intriguing to me, I might watch a review for the sole purpose of seeing what the gameplay is like. But I typically do something like that on mute so I don't have to hear any bias and can focus on the game itself.
  4. I think the allure of having a console that can be played on TV like a typical console or taken on the go, was enough allure to keep their fans, and bring in new ones. Especially since it had a lot of the same games that other consoles had like Skyrim and Witcher 3. And if you save your progress in those games to cloud, you could just log in from your Switch and continue from where you left off. They really hit a home run with this one.
  5. I'm not on Twitch, as I prefer YouTube. But pro gamers are always playing the type of games that I don't get into for one reason or another. Some my psyche can't do like COD, due to my own experiences in the military. Others just don't interest me in the slightest like SSB. So I don't ever watch it. So far I haven't come across any tournaments that are in games that are the kind that I play. Except for speed runs or other weird shit. Such as one guy played Zelda OOT under his own challenge of not collecting a single rupee throughout the entire game. And he did it. But then, that's not eSports thing so I'm guessing it really doesn't count.
  6. Not familiar with the acronym, but from what I'm reading I assume K/D means Kills/Deaths and KDR means Kill Death Ratio? If that's wrong, the please enlighten me.
  7. Working to be an eSports player would take up your life, just like any job. You would have to spend your day gaming, until you burn out on the game, and then keep playing it. Like I said earlier: You would have to know every single tiny little thing about the game in question, and master every single one of those tiny little things. Nothing could be overlooked or taken for granted. You can't just quit and not go back to it a couple days later. You have to be playing at a level that no one you know, no matter how good they are, can beat you. A good idea would be to enter in local tournaments. Fight the best in your area. You would most likely find tournaments in games like COD and SSB. Games like that are the most popular among eSports tournaments. If you're playing at home in a solo mode, you have to set the difficulty at the absolute highest it can possibly go. You can't take it easy, because your opponents won't take it easy on you. If you're a n00b to the game, then sure take it on easy mode until you know the controls and the mechanics of the game to the point that you can play without thinking about what buttons to press and how to handle a situation. Then boost it to the hardest level the game offers. For example, while it's not an eSport option, I recently got into playing Sudoku. I learned it on easy mode, but that got too easy within about 2 weeks. Medium mode got too easy within about 1 week of moving up. I only played one game on hard because it was too easy. So within a month I'm now playing it on expert mode. Once that gets too easy I'll move up to extreme then 16x16 mode. I love the game, and I'm pretty damn good at it. So game, game, game. You'll master it, then apply to a team and game with them so they can see how good you are and decide if you would be a good fit/match to their team. Good luck to anyone with aspirations of being an eSports gamer.
  8. I don't know about the apology part. I definitely believe that Chris Rock should apologize like crazy, but I also feel that Will Smith was completely justified in knocking the shit out of Chris. He didn't just cross the line, He went so far beyond it that you couldn't even see it anymore. Him maintaining his composure is more than I could have done, but I think that knock to the head made him realize just how bad he fucked up. But like I said, I feel that Will was justified in busting Chris upside the head.
  9. I'm just curious. Is everyone just going to talk about how @Empire deserves a nomination, or is someone actually going to nominate him? I've already cast my nomination, so I can't do it. But I noticed a long drawn out conversation about him deserving a nomination.
  10. The BattleBots season typically runs in winter, so I get to watch that. Bronco baby!
  11. I always thought they tasted the same. But I think brand name Kraft American cheese slices taste a hell of a lot better than generic. But with my extra sharp cheddar blocks I can't tell a difference, so I just always go with the generic. Diet cola Faygo was always good, but Dollar tree stopped selling it and switched to something that is truly gross, So I'm back to drinking only Diet Pepsi. Which is the brand I have drank since I was a child. But I switched to diet when my doctor told me I was in the pre-diabetes stage. Now I don't like the taste of regular soda at all. @Rain Dew is extremely happy about it because she has always drank diet her whole life and wasn't crazy about regular either.
  12. I want to add to what @Shagger said. First off, what does Trudeax have to do with the American convoy to DC? They didn't cross to Canada, unless that happened last night, and I just haven't heard about it yet. Second, I'm giving you an official warning. Your posts have been racist, generally bigoted, misogynistic, and generally offensive to the entire forum. Continuing in this manner will result in further action beyond a warning.
  13. Please tell me why you keep targeting blacks? I'm sure the black members here would like to know as well.
  14. Are you fucking serious? Then why did Hitler on hundreds of occasions say that the superior race was a christian rice? That the Jews were inferior because they denied christ? THE GREAT DEPRESSION MADE IT HARD FOR EVERY-FUCKING-BODY. NO ONE HAD IT EASY DURING THE DEPRESSION EXCEPT MAYBE ROCKEFELLER. THOSE BORN WITH NOT A SILVER SPOON, BUT A GOLD SPOON IN THEIR MOUTHS WERE THE ONLY ONES THAT MADE IT THROUGH EASILY. THE REST OF THE WORLD WAS FUCKED UNTIL THINGS PICKED UP AGAIN.
  15. So that makes it ok? Then that definitely makes it ok, right? No it's not what Gandhi taught. He taught nonviolent resistance. And ignoring hate speech doesn't solve the problem. It only lets it grow and flourish. It's like ignoring a forest fire. If we don't try to put it out, it's going to keep raging and keep destroying.
  16. No it's not. In the public school system, it doesn't exist. Teachers can and will teach about racism, but CRT is not a lesson. It is a class in higher education such as college, but is typically only taken by those going into fields that specifically deal within that area of humanity. Fields such as psychology. Some even take it as an elective. But the public school does not teach such a class. You say you live here, but the more you talk the more you make it seem like you have never even once set foot on American soil.
  17. This is the last time I'm going to tell you this, as you obviously don't understand English and I can't dumb it down any more than this. It is not a baby until it draws its first breath outside of the womb. Until that time it is a fetus. After that time it is murder. Before that time it is not murder. it is impossible to kill something that has never been born. By your logic, me choosing to not have a child is no different than having an abortion because I am not giving that potential child a chance at life. When my body discards an egg during menstruation by your logic that is an abortion. I am not the only one tired of your deflection and superiority complex.
  18. As a Missouri native, i can tell you that there's more to the story than that. If a woman goes out of state to get an abortion, she faces prison time upon crossing the border back into the state. It has also been proposed by some piece of this moron (I don't remember who at the moment) that women be checked when leaving and entering the state as to whether they're pregnant or not. That was thrown out almost as quickly as it was brought in. It wasn't anyone in the statewide government, it was some local jackass in either St. Louis or KC. If I remember right, his wife divorced him the day after he pulled that little stunt. Planned Parenthood clinics are being shut down all across the state for fear of the safety of the women who work there. And there was only one in the entire state that did abortions. The rest were just women's clinics. Mainly they were just gynecologists. A lot of doctors that were willing to perform abortions, have been saying publicly that they don't do it out of fear. Whether they actually still do it or not is a matter of some conjecture. Doctors are being targeted, women are being targeted, clinics are being targeted. There is even a woman here in my town that gets her panties in a twist when someone eggs the Planned Parenthood clinic due to the chicken fetuses being aborted. Give. Me. A. Fucking. Break.
  19. I'm not the biggest fan of Xbox, but I do play it for a few games.
  20. I highly recommend everyone give Nintendo a few shots. If for nothing else try out one of the Mario games and one of the Zelda games. From there, find your preferred genre and go nuts. Like @Knight Barida said, you'll definitely be glad you ventured in.
  21. My videos show up pretty clearly. And ads aren't a problem if it's a small channel that isn't monetized. If you want though, you can always get YouTube premium. That's what I did. It removes ads from videos, among other things. And it's only $12 per month. Since I spend so much time on YouTube, it was more than worth it. I don't even watch TV anymore. I just watch YouTube.
  22. No we don't. We believe in women's rights, and bodily autonomy. You can not, and will not tell someone what they can do with their own body. You might as well dictate what their hair looks like. North Korea does it. Move there. You're obviously of the same mindset as them. Go worship Kimmy. Maybe you can lick his asshole clean. Hell, he invented the hamburger, so they obviously have great food over there. The point is that you want to dictate a woman's rights. You place women beneath you. You're a chickenshit misogynist. And I'm really getting sick of it.
  23. I would like you to respond to my comment, as you are obviously running from it. By your own words you have insinuated everything I said. So I want a response. Or are you too cowardly to say anything?
