I've always been a console gamer. I grew up with Nintendo, before PlayStation and Xbox existed. Aside from the classic games I play virtually every day, I game more on PlayStation these days. I rarely use my Xbox. I do play a lot on my Switch still. As for phone, I have a couple games on there that I play all the time. Sudoku being one.

I would say that it's one of the best horror games out there if you want my opinion. @Kane99's analysis of it is more or less correct about the bones of the game, but there's a lot more in it than just walking around and finding jump scares. It's a psychological game. It hits things in your mind that are laying dormant and waiting for the right time to make themselves known.

This is more or less of a "my dick's bigger" contest between them. They're at the top of the gaming scene alongside Nintendo, and they want to act like idiots throwing around claims that are most likely baseless. But if they think it can hurt their competitor in some way, they'll do it. However, if Sony really wanted to fuck Microsoft, they could revoke their license of being able to put their games on Blu-ray discs. Sony owns that patent, so Microsoft better play nice or they could be in a world of hurt. Personally, I don't really give a shit. I play the games, but stay out of the politics.

Which PlayStation model is your favorite?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Playstation
If you're asking about cosmetically, the PS2 is my favorite. If you're talking about the more technical side, I would probably have to give that one to the PS3. It has its own roster of great games, but it being backwards compatible with PS1 games is the icing on the cake for me. -
I have a feeling that in some way, diabetes is really close to this one. Considering the games from the past, I think Kirby would have pretty serious diabetes by now.

Do you have any trait that you are not proud of?
The Blackangel replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
To me, it sounds like someone wanting to find out what a baseball bat tastes like. -
So that we all know the boundaries (which differ for every person) what kinds of questions or subjects are out of bounds or insulting for you?

What is the scariest legend you have ever been told? Did/does it really scare you? I assume from where you are that La Llorona would be fairly common to hear.

That's something that more than pisses me off. I'm schizophrenic and seeing someone pretend to have it makes my blood boil. And to add insult to injury, typically they don't even get that right. So many people have it in their heads that schizophrenia is multiple personalities. IT'S FUCKING NOT. Schizophrenia is hearing voices and seeing things that shouldn't be there. I hear ghostly voices that say really freaky shit, and I see shadow people every damn day. Shadow people are some seriously annoying bastards. But that I go through that shit, and someone pretending they have it for some idiotic reason makes me want to rip out their eyes and bust their ear drums. Then they wouldn't have to worry about seeing or hearing anything. Also I'm on some really potent anti-psychotics for this. It's not something to be made light of. No mental disease is. -
Think we'll ever see a Red Dead Revolver remake?
The Blackangel replied to Kane99's topic in Video Games
It won't happen, unless they lease the franchise out to another company. But if for some dumbass reason they DO lease it, all we're going to get is another Link: The Faces of Evil and Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon. Complete shit that doesn't even resemble the game that it's supposed to be a sequel to. They were able to make RDR2, because people wanted to know what the relation between John was to Bill, Javier, and Dutch. People were confused as to how they knew each other so well. So a prequel was made to explain all the unanswered questions. But with Red Dead Revolver, they don't see it as a game in the same franchise anymore. It's considered a stand alone and not related to RDR in any way in their eyes. It's just another western game, that didn't do as well as they had hoped. Not to mention that the vast majority of their focus in geared towards the GTA franchise and GTA Online. GTA is their biggest cash cow, so Rockstar is devoting almost all of their time to it. The only thing they can even do at this point with the Red Dead Revolver/Redemption franchise is either a sequel playing as Jack, or another prequel where it was just Arthur, Dutch, and Hosea, which would then show and explain how the gang came to be. Rockstar doesn't really want it to be known that Revolver is in the same world as Redemption. -
Do you have a family? Wife/husband? Kids?

We have all done it at some point. A lot of people have their profile visited on a nearly daily basis. But why? For me, I typically visit someone's profile because I'm looking for a post they have made at one point or another. I know everyone here very well, and know their personality as well as anyone can online. But often there's a comment someone has made that I want to find and possibly quote in another thread, rather than give a link to the post. So that's my reason. What's yours?

It absolutely makes sense. No game will make a person violent. I'm an extremely violent person, and I love Hatred among others. I get to go out and just kill everyone I see in the game. It gives me a feeling of euphoria. It's almost a sexual thrill to murder everyone in sight. Dopamine floods my body, and I pretty much get off playing the game. The more violent a games is, the more likely I will enjoy it. Also it saves lives in the real world. All too often I want to arm up and just go around killing everyone I see. No reason, I just want to see blood fly and listen to the screams. I want to see and hear the agony in a persons eyes and voice when they watch someone they love die. It's bliss to me. Putting another person in as much pain as possible, in as many ways as possible is the greatest feeling. I don't do anything of the kind to @Rain Dew as I love her too much to harm her. But she knows my inclinations and desires. She also keeps me grounded and in control of my desires. Also, I find solace among the dead. I visit cemeteries at night, and when I was younger I would sleep in them amongst the graves. So the games give me that, and simultaneously save real human lives.

I'll talk to her and see what her plans are.

What are your favourite gaming memories from the past?
The Blackangel replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Listening to NKOTB while playing Blaster Master. It was amazing. I had an old ass TV in my room, with my NES hooked up to it. It was one of the greatest experiences of my young life. -
After following the link @Kane99 made in his post about the 10 Banned Games, I followed a link on the page. It lists several of the best survival horror games, many of which I intend to try out. The rest I already have. It's a great list, and I look forward to trying it out. https://ftw.usatoday.com/lists/best-survival-horror-games

I got a second one from Playstation.com last month. So now @Rain Dew and each have one.

I agree wholeheartedly. I don't get invitations to reunions, probably because I dropped out my junior year. Hell, I'm not even wanted at family reunions. Not that I would go anyway.

In my opinion, I say let them burn themselves to death. It would raise the average IQ of the gene pool by getting them out of it. If you're stupid enough to take part in any of the challenges online, you deserve the consequences. I hope the crate challenge results in a hell of a lot of quadriplegic people. If it's something that risks life and limb, I hope the results charge the price of life. Dumb is one thing. I'm dumb. Stupidity is a whole other ball game. Stupidity is a choice. Being dumb is not. That's how I define it anyway. -

It's been my experience that autistic people are often far more intelligent than the rest of the population. Brilliant in some cases. I'm not saying be proud of a disability. I'm in a wheelchair, and I fucking hate it. But it is what it is. I'm also dumb as a god damn rock. I edit and re-edit my posts probably a dozen times before I post them, as I know I've said something moronic somewhere in them. Most of the time, my brain is only for moving my limbs. I drop it somewhere just about every day, and just have to hope I find it before the frickin' dogs eat it. -
The thing that pisses me off is people from other countries saying that we all talk with a heavy southern drawl, like a redneck. Sure there are a lot of people that do talk like that (I'm one of them) but there's a hell of a lot more. Have you ever met someone from New Jersey or Wisconsin? How about California? We also have people who live on the northern border that pick up a Canadian accent. A lot of white kids in San Diego often pick up a Mexican accent because they're right on the border and go into Tijuana on a regular basis to have fun. I'll admit that for a reason I don't even know, I've always wanted to visit Tijuana. I've been south of the border several times. With Mexico, it was always in the Yucatan peninsula. I was thinking of taking a road trip to Teotihuacan. Why am I getting off topic AGAIN? The point I'm trying to make is that there are a vast number of accents. Several coming from immigrants. Which is no bad thing. More diversity in this former country is needed.

More voice over options for created characters
The Blackangel replied to Kane99's topic in Gaming Forum
Roger Clark (Arthur) has a YouTube channel if you want to look into him. @Rain Dew got me a shoutout from him for xmas last year. I have it saved on multiple places. Phone, thumb drive, computer, etc. As for them being in any other games, I have no idea with a couple exceptions. Benjamin Byron Davis (Dutch) and Rob Weithoff (John) were obviously in RDR1.
