I just woke up sleeping off a lot of whiskey, but now after seeing that trailer, I think I'm drunker than before. That or I'm stoned as hell. Or maybe I'm thinking that the guys that made that game were the ones drunk and high.

If I start talking about it, I'll have a panic attack. Besides, I've already said.

I would like to see some things geared towards classic gaming. Maybe an NES cartridge or something.

I'm giving @Withywarlock a nomination. Since becoming a moderator he's done a fantastic job, and he's also been a quality member for quite a while. He deserves a nomination.

If it doesn't add to the discussion, or follow the rules of the thread, you would be much better off not commenting. You have been doing better about this as of late, but you still continually post comments that completely ignore the thread topic. Either make a post that adds to the conversation, or don't reply and move on to another topic.

Cooking standards vary wildly all over the planet. This may be the norm and totally acceptable in India. Hell, things like that are done here in the states in some locations. I know when I worked at Pizza Hut, we weren't required to wear gloves or anything. We used our bare hands to make the pizzas. A lot of mom & pop restaurants are like that too. It is what it is. But at least the guy in the video is using his right hand to cook and leaving his left hand away from the food.

Now as for what I'm doing this weekend, I'm looking for a spat with a clear view of the sky with as little light pollution as possible to get my telescope out. I've signed up to host a get together, and that was what I chose to do. It's sometime next month, and I just need to find a good place. I have a couple in mind, but haven't been out to fully check them out yet.

I don't know where this jackass gets his so called "facts", but he's a moron for trying to add fuel to the fire for those against video games.
 
 

If people are dead set on gaming only being for kids, I want to meet the parents who would let their 7 year old play RDR2, so I can slap the shit out of them. The language, violence, sexual content, and alcohol/drug use is really something I would consider to not be lessons for a child of that age. I haven't played it, but I would assume GTA5 would be in that same boat. Then there are horror games. A child would be so freaked out that they would sleep between their parents for 3 months before going back to their own room. Especially with the more intense horror games.
Games are rated for a reason. And many are geared towards adults. Because (typically) we are able to see the difference between the real world, and games. While some a re a real world representation, they're still games.
If you have such an issue with gaming, then stick to Candy Land.

It won't happen, unless they lease the franchise out to another company. But if for some dumbass reason they DO lease it, all we're going to get is another Link: The Faces of Evil and Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon. Complete shit that doesn't even resemble the game that it's supposed to be a sequel to. They were able to make RDR2, because people wanted to know what the relation between John was to Bill, Javier, and Dutch. People were confused as to how they knew each other so well. So a prequel was made to explain all the unanswered questions. But with Red Dead Revolver, they don't see it as a game in the same franchise anymore. It's considered a stand alone and not related to RDR in any way in their eyes. It's just another western game, that didn't do as well as they had hoped. Not to mention that the vast majority of their focus in geared towards the GTA franchise and GTA Online. GTA is their biggest cash cow, so Rockstar is devoting almost all of their time to it. The only thing they can even do at this point with the Red Dead Revolver/Redemption franchise is either a sequel playing as Jack, or another prequel where it was just Arthur, Dutch, and Hosea, which would then show and explain how the gang came to be.
Rockstar doesn't really want it to be known that Revolver is in the same world as Redemption.

Google Glass anyone? I see their possible attempt at a VR device following it down the same rabbit hole.

I just found out now that clasher is also a term used for gamers who play clash of clans.
It's hilarious though but it still describes my love for ancient battles and whatever games involved the use of swords , arrows and other ancient weapons (a big fan of God of war).

I have a feeling that in some way, diabetes is really close to this one. Considering the games from the past, I think Kirby would have pretty serious diabetes by now.

This is more or less of a "my dick's bigger" contest between them. They're at the top of the gaming scene alongside Nintendo, and they want to act like idiots throwing around claims that are most likely baseless. But if they think it can hurt their competitor in some way, they'll do it. However, if Sony really wanted to fuck Microsoft, they could revoke their license of being able to put their games on Blu-ray discs. Sony owns that patent, so Microsoft better play nice or they could be in a world of hurt.
Personally, I don't really give a shit. I play the games, but stay out of the politics.
