I agree with @kingpotato - Whiplash was an awful villain.

kingpotato got a reaction from Boblee in "PlayStation Infinite", Confirmed as Plus Essential, Extra, Premium and Deluxe -June 2022
The new PS PLUS service has been officially released in Asia this week , it will be released in Japan next week and by next month Europe and America. With the release on the Asia market we finally have a full list of games, Im not sure if the games on this list will be the same for Europe or America but it will probably be 90% similar.
Here is the link for the article with the full list.

kingpotato reacted to Yaramaki in Which turn based RPG should I play
Man i haven't pulled out some of this stuff in years until a few days ago, like all my european gamboy advance games are still in the moving boxes when i moved out of my parents place haha. When digging trough them looking for rpg's, i realised how amazing the cover art is on most of these. You don't see that anymore these days, unless you would read gaming magazines for the most part publishers had to sell you the game on the coverart alone, they are all good games imo and there's atleast 10 rpg's in case they haven't been mentioned already :

kingpotato reacted to Crazycrab in What is perfect fun gameplay? No sports
"Perfect fun gameplay" isn't something you nail down to any particular formula, just like @Dannyjax said it's subjective. I could say the turn based system in Final Fantasy X is perfect and the best gameplay I've experienced that uses that system. I could also say Metal Gear Solid 3 has the perfect tactical/stealth gameplay, or that Life is Strange has the best mechanics of any interactive narrative type of experience. Not only are these games are completely different but at the end of the day they are all subjective opinions rather than provable facts.
So with all due respect @Reality vs Adventure, I'm really not sure where you're trying to go with this and I doesn't seem like a particularly productive conversation to me. We've already started to see this lack of productive conversation with this:
How can say that @kingpotato is wrong? If he thinks that Skyrim, God of War or The Last of Us have the most fun gameplay then that's just how he feels. You can't define what somebody else considers to be "Fun". It's like me telling you that you don't like Broccoli, what the fuck do I know! It's all subjective.

kingpotato reacted to Dannyjax in What is perfect fun gameplay? No sports
What's considered fun can be subjective in my opinion. This is because there are a lot of things that I might find fun in which another person would disagree and that's very normal. The same thing is apparently applicable to video games as well. A gamer might see a particular game to be fun for him while it's not to another. If I'm picking one game that's pure fun to play, it would be the first person life simulation adventure video game Slime Rancher.

Sorry about that hahaha 😆 but yeah it is addicting going back to good old games. I dont know if I will ever try Road 96, it looks good enough but not something I would pay for, or maybe I will try ot out if it becomes cheaper or if it becomes available on the PS plus service

Its a great game, I played a lot of it as a kid. I was never good at it though
Maybe, but I dont want to spend money on games right now, can you recommend something from the 3ds, gba or snes?

kingpotato reacted to Crazycrab in Which turn based RPG should I play
I would say that Final Fantasy X is the best turn based system I have ever experienced. It's more or less the pinnacle as far as I'm concerned.

Ticked only FF 6 in tbe list you made, that's tbe only option I know about, others I never watched their trailer before, nor played them before. It is worthwhile as well to check around them to see what kind of actions they may exhibit.

kingpotato reacted to Justin11 in Video game you can't get your mind off at the moment?
My bad, it's gangster vegas, it is just like any other GTA game, go to Google play store if you're an android user you'll get the mobile edition, which is what I meant to say.

Oh, my bad, I misquoted it, I was thinking he's talking about the popular uncharted game series.

He is talking about the movie, remember this thread is about game based movies.

kingpotato got a reaction from Heatman in Games where you have to take care of your character's health
Earlier today while playing Red Redemption I was feeding my character cause he was hungry, but at the same time I myself was starving cause I had only had a coffee and no breakfeast. 😆
Anyway there is a bunch of games where you have to constantly check your character's well being like making sure they are not cold or hot by having the appropiate clothing like in Red Dead Redemption 2 or Zelda Breath of the Wild or the survival moden in Skyrim and Fallout New vegas where you also have to be carefull with the weather and also making sure of feeding your character and making sure that they get some ingame sleep.
Do you know of any other games like this?
