  1. Disappointed this year with Battlefield. I usually love it but I'm just not a fan of the World War 2 setting. I tried out the demo as well but I wasn't happy so in the end, I didn't get it this year. The problem for me is that after a World War one based game (Battlefield 1), they should have gone back to having a modern game. There's a real lack of items and I just think things are a bit too similar to the previous Battlefield. Hopefully, their next one will be back to a modern setting and I'll be looking forward to that.
  2. Sometimes. I actually had this issue recently because I got slightly bored with my current PS4 game collection and wanted a new game. The main thing that I was missing was having a first-person shooter because I get one every year. But this year, I was slightly disappointed with both Black Ops 4 and Battlefield 5 so didn't get it at first. But in the end I bought BO4 recently so I'm not bored anymore. Plus I get to still enjoy my other games.
  3. This is a great deal for those of you that are yet to purchase this wonderful game. Horizon Zero Dawn has done extremely well and it's no surprise that gamers love the game. You can get it for just £6.99 at CDKeys for a limited time although unfortunately, this is only available for North American gamers at the moment. You will get a code to redeem on the PS Store when purchasing this. Enjoy 🙂 Link: https://www.cdkeys.com/playstation-network-psn/psn-games/horizon-zero-dawn-ps4-us-ca-cd-key?mw_aref=74dth566
  4. I've never had this issue, fortunately. I'm pretty picky with my games so I don't always get games when there are new releases. I maybe get 3-4 games a year so I always tend to have time to play a particular game and finish it. I tend to put aside some time from my day to play games as well and I don't particularly use up all the time for just one game as well. So I usually have time to play a few during my game time.
  5. It's a pretty easy choice for me. Like Infected, it would have to be Rockstar as well. They are my favourite developer and they have the two best gaming series', Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption. I have never ever been disappointed by their games (well the singleplayer portions anyway) and I can always look forward to pre-ordering their upcoming games without worrying about anything. Plus, the amount of money they make, it would be stupid not too choose them.
  6. I don't bother. I just don't see the point of it. We're all here to play the game and I think it's important to let everyone enjoy the game. I've seen a few trolling videos on Twitter and YouTube though and some of them can be quite funny. Most of them are harmless and it's just people trying to trick people into thinking something.
  7. I do think that people misinterpreted the meaning of EA's statement on singleplayer games though. They did say that they thought linear singleplayer games were not as popular anymore. They never said anything about open world singleplayer games like RDR for example. I do agree with you though, I despise EA for what they have done with FIFA. It's the main reason why I returned my copy of the game this year.
  8. I think the best shooter with vehicles is definitely Battlefield. I just think that most other games that have vehicles in it are a bit awkward really. For example, in the latest Call of Duty (Black Ops 4), the driving for the quads are with the thumbsticks which I don't really like. I'm not sure if they let you change the controls using the settings though. Battlefield has the best physics since the vehicles are a huge part of the game as well.
  9. It's not surprising really. It's different and after the earlier disaster of the Wii U, the fact that Nintendo did a great job with the console meant more people were definitely interested. Plus, it helps that the PS4 and Xbox One has been out for a while so sales for that will be much slower. I don't have one because I just don't think I would use it enough for me to justify the current price. Most of the games that I play aren't available on the Switch other than Fortnite as well so it's pretty much useless to me.

I don't know anything about the game, but the backlash that came with the announcement was crazy. It was no surprise really when I read what caused such a backlash. People just weren't looking for a mobile game right now. They completely messed up and should have put this as a smaller announcement. People had paid thousands to go to that conference thinking that they were going to another PC game announcement. Did they really think people were going to be contempt with a mobile game lol?
  11. It would be interesting to see what everyone's Fortnite stats are like. It doesn't matter if you're not happy with them or you haven't played that much. Just share and maybe we can decide who the best Fortnite player is over here at VGR 😄 You can get your stats here - https://fortnitestats.org/player/darthhazard My stats -
  12. It's funny because they actually added it into the game. I doubt it was because of the petition though, there was quite a popular thread on Reddit about it being added and I'm sure they saw that and decided to go ahead with it. The developers regularly use Reddit and reply to users as well so they definitely saw the suggestion on there. I do believe they want to add a bonus for thanking the driver as well. Someone found code where you get a small amount of XP for thanking the driver.
  13. It would be great for us as gamers because there's nothing better than having more people to play with especially if your friends are on different consoles. With crossplay, you wouldn't have to worry about what console your friend gets, you can get what you want and still be able to play with them. I seriously doubt it is coming soon though. There is no benefit to the gaming companies by doing this because they could potentially be losing out people getting their console.
  14. I've used on tablet in my lifetime and that was only an Android one that came for free with one of my previous phones. Personally, I don't care for them that much. They seem a bit useless really which is probably shown by the fact that people are not as interested in them as they once were. For me, phones are much better for mobile gaming. It's a convenient size especially since you already carry it around all the time plus it has the added bonus of being a phone. Most of us have large phones with great screens as well so it isn't a problem.
  15. The last game that I played was Train Sim World on the PlayStation 4. It's basically a train simulator and there is literally nothing more relaxing than playing this game. I personally could not play this game for hours, but when I am stressed or just want to relax, this is the game that I go to. I don't know why but just sitting in the cabin and watching the surroundings as you control the game is just so relaxing.
  16. Single player will not go away for a long time as long as these amazing and outstanding games are coming out like God of War and Red Dead Redemption 2. The Red Dead Redemption 2 story was immense and for me, it was the best game that I have ever played. The graphics, the story and the gameplay was just out of this world and no other game that I have played can come close. It's easy to see it's not dying out since single player games especially on the PS4 have been doing great.
  17. I saw this and thought it was hilarious especially when I saw what it really was. I can't believe some company went and got him of all people to brand this "emulator". I saw that he tweeted recently looking for professional gamers to join some sort of team as well so this isn't the last we will see of him in the gaming world. It's obvious that he thought this was a good idea to go with since most people have forgotten him. Who knows, maybe his bank is running low and he needed some quick and easy cash. Although, I'm not sure how financially successful something like this can be 😄
  18. I don't even have words to describe it. A masterpiece. It's just so damn good. I honestly love this game. I never actually played the first Red Dead Redemption so I didn't know what to expect. But I love Rockstar because of what they have done with the Grand Theft Auto series so it wasn't hard for me to choose to pre-order the game. And I'm glad I did. It was a beautiful game, both the story and the actual graphics as well. Hopefully, the next 8 years go quickly so that we can play the next RDR as well 😄
  19. It depends on how the courts see it I guess. I'm not sure how the law works for this because it's dancing and I'm not sure they can copyright dances. Plus, what makes it so that Carlton gets the money from Epic. Since it was on a TV show, should the TV show not then get the money since the dance could technically be theirs?
  20. Any of the Rockstar games really. Literally, every single story that Rockstar has created and brought out for their games has been outstanding. But I do think that Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption 2 deserves special recognition. RDR2 especially had such a great story and I'm sure it would make a great movie. I mean it's almost already a great movie, the cutscenes and actions that you had to take were just out of this world. There was nothing cheesy about it and everything was unexpected, you couldn't just predict what might happen.
  21. I haven't played that many really but the one that I am pretty happy with is definitely any of the Call of Duty games. Black Ops 3 had a great Zombies mode but most of them were pretty good anyway. It's pretty satisfying because the kills feel genuine (doesn't require an unrealistic amount of bullets to kill) and it has some great added bonuses like the easter eggs which make the game mode extremely interesting to play.
  22. I honestly don't know. But I did once get around 12 kills in a squad game that I ended up winning. It was funny because it was with random players and I honestly didn't think I would get far in that particular game because the other 3 died early and it was just me for the rest of the game. But I pulled it off and was extremely happy. It helped that I managed to get a Scar during the middle of the game so that definitely helped me end game. You can find my overall stats here - https://fortnitestats.org/player/darthhazard
  23. It's so crazy how they've set the game up as well. I bought Save the World but don't really play it anymore that much. But I make sure to go on to it every day because they have daily login rewards and it's crazy because it gives out free v-bucks as well. I've never had to purchase anything in-game with money because I have a good supply of vbucks from Save the World. And if you don't have that, you get vbucks from the battle pass which gives you enough to purchase the next one!
  24. As they have done previously, PlayStation has released a special pack in partnership with Fortnite for PS+ members. The PS Plus celebration packs contain a Prodigy outfit, a Tabulator back bling and a 2D 'Pizza' emoticon. All you have to do is download the pack and then you will find all three items in the game. Download it here - https://store.playstation.com/en-gb/product/EP1464-CUSA07669_00-PSPCP40000000000
  25. The gameplay time is great and I definitely agree that it's one of the main things that contribute to it being so popular. With other games, like PUBG, you have to spend quite a lot of time and you can't really start a game if you know that you're going to be leaving soon. With Fortnite, you know that the game is not going to last too long and it helps that they even have special limited time modes that can finish even quicker (like the Blitz game mode)
