  1. Resident Evil Damnation - 9/10
  2. Was playing some Fire Emblem Engage on the Switch and having a blast. Alear is so busted in this game!
  3. For me, it's Michael Jackson and the song that usually captures my vibe is "Rock With You".
  4. I’m curious about everyone’s take on subscription gaming services like Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation Plus, and others. Do you find them worth it for the access to a vast library of games, or do you prefer to buy games outright? Are there any hidden downsides you’ve experienced, like service availability or game rotation issues?
  5. Is it the storytelling, character development, innovative mechanics, or something else entirely? Do you think nostalgia plays a role, or can newer games achieve that timeless quality? Share your favorite timeless games and what you believe keeps them relevant and enjoyable, even years after their release.
  6. I’ve been thinking about all the amazing games that either never got a sequel or ended on a cliffhanger. For me, it’s Okami - the world is so rich and full of quirky characters that I can’t help but want more. What about you? Is there a game you loved that left you craving a follow-up? Whether it’s an old classic or a recent gem, share your picks and let’s dream about the sequels we wish we could play.
  7. As gamers, we often find ourselves craving new experiences. Is there a specific genre that you feel is underrepresented in the gaming world? Whether it’s a revival of classic genres like point-and-click adventures, a niche like tactical RPGs, or something completely new, let’s discuss what you’d like to see more of.
  8. If you could recommend just one game to someone who's never gamed before, what would it be and why? Whether it's a simple mobile game, a casual indie title, or something with an engaging story, I’d love to know what you think could draw them into the gaming world.
  9. To be fair, Resident Evil 4 Remake came out not too long ago and Metal Gear Solid has been remastered at least twice.
  10. I did also have the Sega Saturn too - I don't know why I keep forgetting that. It's just that I didn't own it for a very long time until I had traded it for a SNES.
  11. It depends on what I can get my hands on. Nowadays though, I prefer to go the emulator route just because it's much more easier and convenient to get the emulator and the game and play it on any supported device easily.
  12. Justice's design in Dragon Age: Awakening does have that weird dissonance with his weapon. Another character that comes to mind is the Ghosts from Destiny. The ethereal look can be visually stunning, but sometimes it feels like they don’t blend well with the rest of the game’s aesthetic.
  13. I remember hearing about the scratch and sniff features in games like Gran Turismo 2 but I never tried it. It's interesting how games tried to engage our senses beyond just visuals and sounds.
  14. That really sucks about your Jak X save. I can totally relate to the heartbreak of losing a cherished save file. I once lost a long-running save in a RPG, and it felt like losing a part of my gaming journey.
  15. I get where you're coming from. For me, puzzles often involve critical thinking or logic, while obstacle courses focus on physical skill/navigation skills. I also find jump puzzles can be frustrating because they feel more about reflexes than strategy.
  16. Motion sickness remains a significant barrier to VR adoption. What strategies or design choices can developers explore to minimize discomfort? From adjusting frame rates and implementing comfort modes to optimizing control schemes and providing user options for movement speed, there are various avenues to consider. Have you encountered effective solutions in games or experiences that significantly reduced motion sickness?
  17. Virtual reality has so much potential, and I’d love to know what concepts you think could take it to the next level. Whether it’s a fully immersive educational experience, a virtual world where you can create and interact with art, or even a VR adaptation of a favorite book or movie, the possibilities are endless. What’s a VR idea that you believe could change the way we experience games, education, or social interactions?
  18. I’ve been thinking about how virtual reality (VR) technology could play a role in promoting physical activity among the elderly. With many seniors facing mobility issues or isolation, VR could offer engaging experiences like virtual workouts, guided meditation, or social interactions in a virtual environment. Have you seen any examples or heard success stories? What are some VR applications you believe could help keep the elderly active, both physically and mentally?
