People in the UK will be able to watch the show on Sky Atlantic. Unfortunatly it air at the same time as it does in America, meaning 2am BST on the 16nth. Bit of a pain, but it won't stop me from staying up to watch it. Hiding what, exactly? That's a strange thing to say anytime without any context, but it's especially strange on the back of what @Crazycrab posted. I'll give you the one from IGN, I understand why somebody wouldn't take them from thier word, but one of the reviews @Crazycrab posted was from a content creator, not a media outlet, and another was from the BBC. I don't know how much you know about the BBC, but suffice say they have nothing to gain by posting a false positive review for a show that will air on Sky in the UK. The BBC is public funded, it is not a commercial outlet, thus advertising is literally illegal on the BBC. In short, I don't see what these outlets would want to hide, nor what they would have to gain by hiding it, so could you please elaborate? EDIT: The Last of Us TV will ait 3am BST on Sky Atlantic, not 2am as previously stated.

As far as I know, Nicholas Cage started in comedies and didn't do much action/drama until the latter half of his career. One of the first films of his I ever saw was Trapped in Paradise. It is actually quite good. But back to the point. It's not like I can't see him pull of Dracula, the guy has range, the problem is having people take him seriously as Dracula. Even the character itself is hard to take seriously anymore, so casting somebody like Nicholas Cage to play just makes an already hard task even harder.

Testing video games sounds fun, but the reality is that this is some properly tedious stuff. Move a character one step, have the bring out and use all the items and weapons, have them crouch, use all the items and weapons again, turn a little bit, then test all the items and weapons again, crouch and test them all again, repeat until you're back facing the original direction, take another step then do it all over again. After one day you would probably not want to play a game again.

Couldn't agree less. Split screen and local multiplayer have been getting phased out on consoles in the last 3 generations for same reason everything changes in the industry. Money. It has nothing to do with technical issues or any alleged inferiority with the concept, with all due respect that is your opinion and nothing more. This goes back to what I've said about Burnout Paradise in the past. As soon as the PS3 came out, they launched the game with local multiplayer removed completely from the game. Think about it, why would a company sell a game whare four people can crowd around just one console and play one copy of a game when you can force to buy four consoles four copies of a game (and later even have to pay a subscription) just to play together. It's bullshit. Multiplayer used to be about friendly competition and having fun, but the move to online has turned it toxic. I'm not saying one can't have fun playing multiplayer on a network, LAN parties especially can bring a lot of the atmosphere from traditional multiplayer back, but it still means playing multiple copies on the game on multiple systems, so it the same "Burnout Paradise" bullshit I was talking about earlier.

NBA 2K23 Season 4:The Release Date, Leaks and More

Locking thread as once again this post has copied from somewhere else, more specifically a forum post geeksandgamers.com. The post you copied has been removed from geeksandgamers, but there is no doubt that is where it came from. Locked. -
Actually he has, and to me that is the problem. It was in a 1988 dark comedy called "Vampire's Kiss". However, as the following clip will demonstrate, there is good reason to doubt that the powers that be behind Renfield recognised this as an "important mark" on his resume when they considered him for the role, and that's assuming they even knew about this movie at all: It is this movie that made me question why they choose Nicholas Cage for the role as Dracula in Redfield because his performance in Vampire's Kiss has been the subject of so many meme's that as least some people would find it hard to take him seriously. Vampire's Kiss presents Nicholas Cage at maximum Nicholas Cage, if you know what I mean. It's a comedy, so of course he act's like a goof in it, but still. It's kind of like casting Jim Carry to play a PI in a serious movie after Ace Ventura.

I know that this is a movie based on a game and even made in partnership with the company that publishes that game, but it's still a movie, so this isn't gaming news. That is why I'm moving this to the movies and TV sub forum. And to be honest, I don't really understand why this needs to exist. This isn't the same thing as making a movie out of Need for Speed because Grand Turismo has always been a plotless driving sim'. This will be a film about fictional racing drivers in a fictional racing series that meant to emulate and mirror the real thing, and I just don't se that working. It's got a great cast, but racing movies just work better if they based on something real like Senna or lean all into a fantasy, not a bizarre mix of both like this seams to be.

Who went down on who to get Nicholas Cage to play Dracula?

Yes, it's only Ellie standing in the middle of a town so it should be safe.

Elden Ring as the most awarded Game of the Year recipient
Shagger replied to Marven98's topic in Gaming News
I'm going to give you a little tip. If you copy and paste a post or text from an outside source that includes hyperlinks, only the overlaying text actually gets copied, not the hyperlink itself. I don't know if this is plagiarism or if it's an incompetent attempt to spam, but either way it's not on. Locking this thread, and for for the sake of your future participation on this forum @Marven98, there had better not be any more of this. -
There is a big difference between someone who is solitary and somebody who is lonely.

As far as I can tell, the same accessibility options (plus more, apparently) from The Last of Us Part II will be available in The Last of Us Part I on PS5 and PC, so I think it's a safe bet that the "8-Bit" more be included. Like you said, in TLOU Part II the mode had to be unlocked first unfortunately. Still, I'll try and find out for sure, but I'm virtually certain it will be there.

Epic Games do a very similar thing around Christmas each year, including this year. I've been updating on this as its been happening on the Free Games with Epic Update Thread right here on VGR. Read more about this event in this article form Gamespot. At the time of typing this, the game on offer is Metro Last Light Redux. There will be a another new game for free each day until December 29nth. So yeah, such things do actually happen.

Full credit to my better half for brining me this. In an article published by BBC News discussing the recent winder storms affecting much of America and Canada, the BBC did work in the best line I've ever seen in a news report. Hell has frozen over, for real. From the article: I'm not trying to downplay the seriousness of this, if you are affect please stay safe, but that doesn't change the fact this is epic and whoever it was wrote this knew exactly what they were doing. It's the BBC making fun out of this, not me. Still, safe and enjoy you Christmas everyone.

I've seen this now, it is really good, a nice blend of action, comedy and drama. As one can see in the trailer, the animation is superb. It reminds me of Avatar, The Legend of Korra and The Dragon Prince, a colourful and rich blend of both eastern and western styles. The social commentary is interesting as is the story, you can definitely feel the love of the source material. The characters are done pretty well. They do ride close to clichéd at times, but that's more to make them more quickly relatable and each character still feels unique and like they belong in this world, they develop well as the story goes on. Some great voice talent, too. The only real issue I have is that it is far too short, so short that this just as easily could have been a movie. Whilst the story does honour and respect the source material, it does little to nothing to explore and expand the Dragonage world and lore either. This is genuinely annoying, first because of the aforementioned sequel bait and also because it really feels like there was so much further to go in this story, it feels like it ends halfway. It's almost tempting to say wait until season 2 comes out, but knowing Netflix that might not happen.

It appears @Kane99 has just jumped in there before me. It may be redundant now, but I'll post it anyway. The Raspberry Pi's are a line of single board computers that were first developed around 2012 to be an educational tools to aid in the education of computing and electronics in developing countries. The model shown here is the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B The idea is that teachers would used this small, but fully functional computer to tutor kids in basic programming. The design would also allow the kids to learn about the components such as the CPU and the RAM. Whilst it has served it's intended purpose and been very successful, the Raspberry Pi's low cost and versatility has also made it popular for robotics, weather monitoring and amongst technology hobbyist for loads of different applications. So to me, it makes perfect sense to have this drive a retro arcade cabinmate of some sort.

I do agree that harvesting personal information on minors is unacceptable, but I don't think the intentions were that dark. Like I've said before, I feel that Fortnite's microtransactions are phytologically manipulative, so at worst I'd say they were analysing thier players game stats compared to thier in-game social interactions and spending habits to adjust and employ that phycological manipulation to encourage spending. Don't get me wrong, that's still terrible, but it doesn't help anyone to assume that intentions are beyond extreme.

It actually depends a lot on what character is suppose to know. If you're exploring an area that you character doesn't know thier way around, the it makes sense for the interface to not "hold you hand" so to speak and direct you whare to go. If in the game your character does know the area of if the have been given instructions I don't think a quest marker is much to ask for. In the contrary, I think it can can help immersion by clueing you in on what the character knows.
