StaceyPowers Posted August 31, 2022 Posted August 31, 2022 I absolutely love the zoom feature in Stray. You can zoom on the background or foreground and get wonderful detail and sharpness that I don’t think was possible on previous generations. What other games have solid zoom features?
Empire Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 I don't know, they all about the same. I mean with DayZ depands on what Scop that you end up getting to see how far it can go regards to that. I mean with wheel mouse hold click it zooms 5X with normal eyes LOL

The Blackangel Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 RDR2 has a really good zoom if you switch it to first person. I do that on occasion to get a better look at random things. But then I switch back to third person so I can actually play the game. I can't play in first person. It just simply does not work for me.
Kane99 Posted September 2, 2022 Posted September 2, 2022 Not really sure to be honest. I never really gave it much thought about zoom mechanics in games. I mean most games have a zoom mechanic I would imagine, at least a lot of the games I have played in the past. Whether it being aiming down the sights of a gun, or binoculars or something similar. I don't really know what else to say on it, as zooming is in a lot of games, even games where you don't use guns.
Heatman Posted September 3, 2022 Posted September 3, 2022 Zooming feature in Red Dead Redemption 2 is quite impressive and also, I find how it's designed in Ghost of Tsushima very well tailored too. Some shooting games do well with it. For instance in Frontline Commando, I love the zooming feature.

That's true, it's zoom feature is more prominent during conversations though during the main story that zoom feature isn't that exciting.
