skyfire Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 I know the tablets are not overpowered like some of the mobile phones. I wonder if the tablets can be a good future platform for the gaming. Do you think tablets are a good source of gaming experience? I know that tablets are purposefully not made OP as they tend to be bulky and people tend to prefer something that fits in their hands. Do you think tablets have future for gaming?
ARx182 Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 Maybe. It would be cool if there was something like a 'gaming tablet'. A tablet that comes with a controller than can be connected. That would potentially be very popular given its portability and the gaming aspect would just be a secondary feature.
The Blackangel Posted June 14, 2020 Posted June 14, 2020 I think a tablet would be a good choice for gaming. It would clear up data for your phone, and you would have a bigger screen. Somewhere around here I have an iPad, and if I could find it, I would game on it, but I have no clue where it is.

The device needs to have sufficient memory capacity (128g) along with an excellent processor for a smooth game experience. DudeThatsErin Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 I use my tablet to play most of my games as my iPad has 256gb of storage while my phone only has 64gb. So to keep 20-30GB free, I just play on my iPad. I prefer it.

I love having the extra screen real estate.

Empire Posted November 12, 2020 Posted November 12, 2020 They can be, comes down to what Tablet that you have. What's the specs and how they perform. I know my Tablet does basic app games and that's about all. It isn't much with 1gb memory.
killamch89 Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 I have an Ipad and I do play Mobile games on it such as Lords Mobile and Summoners War but I wouldn't say it's a dedicated gaming platform for me. I also read Ebook among other things using it.

I agree that Ipads are extremely powerful but their actual limitation is the Apple ecosystem so your limited in what you can do with it. Samsung Galaxy Tabs are also pretty powerful tablets and I may get myself one in the near future because I'd like to use it for emulation among other things.

It's true that they do tend to last longer than most tablets. I used to jailbreak my Ipads back in the day but now it's become increasingly difficult to do so...
