  1. Not sure how many people would be interested in this, but in case you missed it, here's a link or you can see the screenshot below: What interests me is the dominant stats: the vast majority of Steam users have Nvidia cards to say I've noticed a lot of the games I play have AMD features (including my monitor, but I have a Nvidia 1070). It's interesting that in terms of OS, Windows 11 hasn't made a dent in the stats unless that's considered 'other' (1.54% as of this time). Intel processors are again heavily in the lead, to say AMD have apparently greatly improved what with the Ryzen brand. I don't quite get Macs myself, so you'll forgive my ignorance when it comes to why most people on Apple hardware would be doing so on a MacPro other than the better hardware. It's of no surprise that Oculus is in the lead when it comes to being the most popular VR headset. Most of the stats in the bottom box are unsurprising: 16GB RAM is the standard, 1920x1080 isn't going away any time soon, and 1TB+ HDDs are quite common (I don't know if that's including SSDs). One thing I did find interesting is that 8GB VRAM graphics cards are the majority. Despite all the developments, sales and shortages, it really does appear that most of them are going to other things besides playing on Steam. I know this will be GPU Mining, but the figures being that low are staggering. Anyway, I just thought this might be a nice novelty. Enjoy!

  3. Source: https://www.pcgamesn.com/red-dead-redemption-2/bug-red-dead-online Well well, more bad news for RDR2 online, as a new bug is causing the removal of NPCs and even animals. Some people have reported in the PC version, that NPCs are outright disappearing, stables are empty, the streets of Saint Denis are empty, even animals aren't spawning now. This only seems to be happening for the PC version though, no news on consoles yet, but if this continues, who's to say it won't cause issues with console versions too. Do you think Rockstar will address this and sort it out?

  4. Hey everyone, Today I have a couple of exciting announcements for you. The first is that VGR Forum now has more than 18,000 members! I am deeply grateful to each and every one of you who have contributed to VGR growing into such a tremendously successful community. My second big announcement is that @Withywarlock has been promoted to become our fourth moderator! He joins @Yaramaki, who was recently promoted, along with @The Blackangel and @Shagger. Withywarlock has long contributed thoughtful, detailed comments to VGR forum, keeping conversations going and spurring new ones with his insights. He also does a great job making us laugh with his witty observations. It is a rare privilege to have a forum grow this much while still retaining its loyal core of members and such a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. Each of our moderators has played a huge part in making that happen, and I know Withywarlock will do a phenomenal job in his new role. Congratulations, Withywarlock, and thank you! Thank you to all of our members for being a part of the VGR family. I am so happy with what we have built here together.

  5. Don't eat too much or you might puke it all up! 😄 I remember when you ate too much of any food in GTA SA, and I think GTA IV, you'd puke up from eating way too much. And I think when you got fat in San Andreas, you could eat more, but I'm not 100% sure if that's true.

    I have a request...

Gladly, because you clearly haven't understood the lesson. It is you that should be expected to link information as the the person offering the recommendations and information because it's not fair to expect me as the recipient to have to look up everything everyone posts. That is common forum etiquette and it's for a reason. Granted, VGR isn't as hectic and busy as some other forums, but imagine what it would be like on a forum where I would have to go through dozens of replies. Now imagine if all those replies were like yours where I would have research everything on my own. It's takes you a few additional moments to add links to you own post, but it could add hours of hassle for me if I was to be expected to look up everything from everyone without links to help me out. And that applies to not just me, but everyone who reads the thread who shares an interest in those same recommendations. That is, like I said, basic forum etiquette. It's an unwritten law that has basis in simple courtesy and common sense. Just like @Yaramaki, I would ALWAYS link to the games I recommend on the thread because it's just a few moments off additional time for me that could save everyone who reads that post a combination hours. It's a basic courtesy that is, apparently, beneath you. I don't know who you think you are, but what I do know is what you did was selfish, ignorant and lazy, simple as that. Let me put it another way. If it were a gaming news topic, you would not get away with putting up the story without a source. It's not against any rule if you don't put up a source, but it's expected as a part of forum etiquette to do so rather than have everybody who reads the thread look it up themselves. That's just how it's supposed to be done. It's the same with this. What your saying is that everyone, not just me, has to look up the games you mentioned just because you couldn't bothered? No, that is not how this works. The only time I DON'T link information for others to see when I don't feel the source deserves the traffic. For example, if I felt a journalism website was spreading false information, I wouldn't leave a link to thier article. I'd just tell the story and if possible try to find other, more neutral and better informed sources. Other than that, I feel it is my responsibly as the person putting that information out there to make it verifiable and easy to work with for the reader every time. You are just lazy and self-centred.

  7. I like this idea. It sounds like they're sticking to multiple characters, this time two, but that's probably more manageable. And setting it in a Miami like setting would be great. I kinda hope it's in the 80s or 90s, in Vice City. That would be so good to revisit that time. Wonder if they were going to try to get Ray Liotta back before he passed. If in Vice City, wonder if they would have brought back Tommy.

  8. That's so true - poor people spend money trying to impress other people while most things rich people spend their money on tend to be an investment in their eyes.

  9. One of those such things game companies does to video games so they could still keep making money out of it.

  11. They won't until fans stop buying the games. Capcom may be milking the franchise, but they are doing a good job in the sense that they are making games fans seem to love. Yeah there are a minority of people making a fuss about the new games, but from what I have seen, most fans are cool with all of the games that have been coming out.

  12. Also the attachment of Capcom to Raccoon City in their Resident Evil franchise is becoming increasingly annoying and frustrating the way I see. I believe that they have exhausted everything there is to be explored in that City but they still cavy leave it alone.

  13. In all sincerity, most fans of RE this days just buy a new name off the series so they can have something to criticize and say wrong about the game. If i am not mistaken there is atleast 28 games in resident evil franchise, what more would you expect to be added afterwards?

  14. In all honesty, it doesn't really matter to Capcom that much because the main purpose here is making money from miking the franchise and it's working just fine for them so far. It's the same fans that are criticising the games that are paying whatever that needs to be paid for the game. So, why would Capcom stop?

  15. If your neighbors where you live at aren't friendly, it's definitely not safe to live there because anything can happen at any time and you can't rely on your neighbours to come to your aid. It's like living in a lion's den which is very risky. If any of them is an extremist, you can't guarantee your life there.

  16. I remember how a lot of the people who got busted on the show used the excuse: ”I came here to tell the 12 year old girl that she shouldn’t do this” ”Well we have your chat logs, that’s definitely not what it sounds like” ”No, you’re misunderstanding, I was trying to scare her” ”So why are you carrying a box of condoms?” ”cough cough, I’m leaving”

  17. Random encounters in RPG’s. Part of it was my impatience, but playing a lot of those games that were early in having enemies visible on screen made it even more annoying. Especially when some of those games also expected you to grind. I can shut my brain down when I’m grinding in a game with random encounters, but having to leave the screen to reset the enemies over and over is obnoxious for me.

  19. They butchered it right from the start. They probably felt the same thing that they do in the video game would fly in the Netflix series too and they were so wrong. The time I used to watch it is still annoying me because I would have used it on something better.
