  1. Awesome RPG. I think I recommended this game to @StaceyPowers the other day. This a sweet deal. https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Games/Nintendo-Switch-download-software/Child-of-Light-Ultimate-Edition-1453005.html#Overview?awc=12777_1555148233_fce998bfbe61e9415b34527204165f2c&affil=awin&utm_source=AWIN&utm_medium=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.digidip.net%2F&utm_campaign=0c009g9kel3a&utm _content=Discount+Code

  2. This is an excellent remaster. The fact they got the original TV series cast back to voice the characters says it all about how much effort went into it.

  5. Jar Jar didn't bug me too much. But Hayden Christiansen made me want a brain enema, or to have my entire memory wiped clean. It doesn't matter what the movie is. If Christiansen is anywhere near it, it's not worth seeing. But the thing that really pissed me off was the end of episode 6. They actually had the audacity to remove Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker when he was part of the force with Yoda and Obi-Wan and replace him with Christiansen. That was when I vowed to never watch that movie again unless it was an original copy on VHS, from the 80's. Before Christiansen was born.

  6. It's basically just a fun meta-game. It's nice having something to show when you work hard at beating a game. It's like a game within a game.

  7. Diablo 2 was good about this. It had 3 settings. Normal, Nightmare, and Hell. You had to beat the previous setting to unlock the next one. It also had another difficulty feature. Hardcore. In that, no matter where you are in the game, If you die, that's it. You have to start from the very beginning of the entire game, with nothing that you had previously found. Obviously that part is entirely optional, and I never chose that option. I pretty much sucked at the game without creating my own items, but you always have the choices. Also if you want to make it extra hard, you can stick with the equipment you have at the beginning of the game and never upgrade anything. But you can do that in pretty much any game, so I don't know if that one really counts.

  8. My pick would be the DMC series where it starts you off at a very manageable level and then you have the option of playing it on way harder levels or in DMC terms "Dante must die" which makes the game harder than Dark Souls - I'm not even exaggerating.

    Cleaning

That's what I do as well. I can never recommend having a can of air enough - It makes most computer cleaning jobs more tolerable and less nerve-wracking. I'd start panicking if I never had a can of air available to clean my PC because almost anything else has the potential to ruin your machine.

  10. I'd say Stellaris, which is a grand strategy game I've been playing for the last few weeks, but honestly, the difficulty is mostly artificial in that game. AI empires are dumb as rocks, but fast as Sonic the Hedgehog on a good day, and difficulty settings don't really improve their intelligence at all; they just give them bonuses that more easily compensate for their stupidity. Human players are the real threats, though for obvious reasons, they aren't a factor in single-player mode. Honestly, I think in general terms, the Halo series has done a good job about this. I mean, I never noticed the AI getting smarter there either, but in the FPS genre, this matters less. The higher difficulty you play, the more you get punished for being out of position. This doesn't fully translate to the multiplayer, as human players are less predictable than AI under most circumstances and most multiplayer maps aren't structured in the same way campaign maps are, but you will definitely learn to appreciate cover after it has kept you from getting your face blown off by a deadeye Jackal sniper or three.

  11. I think you said it right. It's fine for children of any age to play video games, as long as it's appropriate for the child's age. I don't think you would want your 6 year old playing GTA of Call Of Duty. Or even something that seems cartoony like Conker's Bad Fur Day. Which I might add started out as a child's game until the developers got perverted. But pretty much any Mario, Zelda, or Sonic game would be fine for pretty much any age. Then there's games that are aimed for more of a younger age bracket like Banjo Kazooie. I'll admit, I'm 37 and LOVE Banjo Kazooie. But hell I still watch Fraggle Rock, so go figure.
