  1. My better half isn’t super into video games but she respects that I see gaming as more than just a hobby, and more of a lifestyle choice/job, if that makes sense. That said, she sometimes plays some COD zombies and Overcooked occasionally, and she’s pretty damn good!

  2. If I get stuck on something and haven't saved in a while, that I absolutely can't figure out, I'll kill myself just so I can restart from the last time I saved, so that hopefully I can figure out what the hell I'm supposed to do.

  3. Great example, and it is super annoying when a franchise actually regresses in this regard. Enemies should not be unnaturally intelligent, but they should at least have competitive intelligence. That's so true. This is something I always laugh about when playing Skyrim. Combat is usually very mindless. "Turn in general direction of enemy. Start pushing buttons."

  4. That's exactly what I meant. I think we're talking about the same thing. This is what I fear happening: -I am low on resources. -I decide to keep going. -The game autosaves on me. -I NEED a critical resource. -I have no manual saves, so I can't go back. I am stuck forever. If I am worried about that happening, that is precisely when I'll die on purpose or reload just so I can try again to get the resources before the game reaches the next checkpoint and screws me.

  5. Technically speaking, a civilian can own and drive a tank as long as the gun is disabled to the point of being only a decoration, and non fixable.

  6. Decisions that affect the outcome of the game. I understand that most games implement this in someway or another but the fact that your decisions have real consequences with in the game is something that I would like to see in most games, instead of the generic/neutral good guy we tend to encounter.

  7. It's almost like a what-if scenario where law and order were mainly decided by the citizens instead of the government.

  8. Hahah, yeah. Mostly entertaining to me though, because it seems clear that GTA is a tongue-in-cheek satire, and thus a criticism on such real-life things, in an ironic way.

  13. Yeah they're pretty cool. Personally I really dig the Lotus racers from that era.

  14. One of my chihuahuas keeps trying to breed my pitbull. But most of the time he’s trying at the wrong end. He’s neutered and she’s spayed so he can try all he wants, but he’s not gonna have any success. The funniest thing is that she looks at me and I can see in her eyes that she’s wondering if biting his dick off would do anything since being neutered apparently didn’t.

  16. To me that’s like people who scream “Guns kill”. If guns kill, then I can blame misspelled words on my pencil. It’s not the object that did it. To my knowledge Mortal Kombat has never taken hostages or opened fire into a crowd. Shang Tsung is more hands on.

  17. The domain name is very, very short. People are more likely to remember branded domain names that are very, very... Very short. I wish I'd thought of VGR first, or I would have bought it before the guy. If you have a very catchy name, too... that helps, too. But a short name almost, always, always works. Especially when we're in the mobile age, where people need to be reminded of where to go. People look at the articles, and like the articles, sometimes forget to click the like button or the connect to facebook likes box which in turn likes the page. And you have to make it prominent. Otherwise all those traffic won't do anything. However, the short domain helps, and if you secure the vanity names fast to make it consistent, that's how people find those pages better.

  18. It'd definitely fit into the battle-royale genre, that's for sure (I hope they don't go down that road though...)

  20. The NES sure had a lot of bad games to be fair. Action 52 might be the worst I've seen associated with Nintendo though. 52 games on one cartridge and all of them are horrible.

  21. Batman Arkham Origins multiplayer component was a shitshow to put it politely compared to the single-player mode. It was full of bugs and glitches - some of which they managed to fix but it was still crap irregardless. It's one of the primary reasons why the game has such a bad reputation compared to the rest of the Arkham series.

  22. Doom 2016 was kinda a waste of time compared to the single player portion. Just didn't feel like it was proper Doom. On the other hand I feel the Call of Duty games have always had great multiplayer. There's a reason it became a saying that nobody bought CoD games for the single player.
