  1. Genji: Days of Blade comes to mind I was SO excited for this PS3 launch title one as I loved the original Genji on the PS2. Things started off promisingly as this game was gorgeous for it's time, and would probably still hold up quite well today. Unfortunately it appears that all that effort focused on the games graphics are aesthetic design should have been better split on actual game. The story was boring and didn't lead of its predecessor very well and the combat felt slow and disjointed compared to the previous effort. Then there was the camera, oh GOD the camera! It would pan away putting enemies off-screen, it followed the player's character way to close and just the player had no input on it at all. It was just not intuitive at all and made the game almost unplayable. What a disappointment, but it was the perfect game summarize the PS3's early days. Prettier than the PS2, but worse.

  2. Photon Guy

    Mass Effect Franchise

So during this Coronavirus outbreak where I like most people have been spending most of my time at home, I've been playing lots of Mass Effect. I started with some Mass Effect Andromeda but for some reason it made me want to play the first Mass Effect game so I switched to that. I beat the game with both the soldier and the adept. Originally I had beaten the game with my favorite character class, the vanguard, but this time I tried it with different classes. Now I am on to Mass Effect 2 playing with my imported character, my adept from Mass Effect 1. Eventually I will probably go on to play Mass Effect 3. From what I heard lots of people prefer the original three Mass Effect games over Mass Effect Andromeda. Even though Andromeda is the latest release and is a more advanced game people like the first three better.

  5. Pretty much any cemetery. I find more peace and serenity in cemeteries than I do anywhere else. When I was younger, If I wasn't able to sleep, I would go to a nearby cemetery with a blanket and a pillow. Sometimes in a mausoleum, other times just out in the open. I have always waited until late at night to walk in a cemetery. The stillness of the night, and the quiet is so relaxing. There was a forgotten cemetery in the woods near the house I grew up in that I spent a large amount of time at. The most recent headstone had a death date in 1927. The rest were from the mid to late 1800's. A lot of them were veterans from the Civil War. I spent time pulling up weeds, and trying to re-erect stones that had fallen over. Some were broken, so there wasn't too much I could do for them. I even took some black paint and repainted in the names and dates and everything on the old ones. They were limestone headstones, so they were worn down like crazy. That's the weird thing. The one that had the 1927 date on it was marble. All the rest were limestone. That always perplexed me. If I wasn't stuck in a damn wheelchair, I would go back to it. I really miss being able to visit that cemetery. I think I'm the only one that even knows about it anymore.

  6. I personally would advise against buying/building a gaming PC right now because next gen consoles are right round the corner. You don't want to spend $1000 on a PC and then 6 months later a $500 console arrives on the market that out-performs it. You will get better parts or at least the same parts cheaper if wait a little longer.

  7. AOE3 and Twilight Princess make the list for me. AOE had a very eye pleasing look, but the game was just horrible. It was tedious, boring, and just a pain in the ass. And WTF was up with the cheats? A monster truck and a bouncing bust of George Washington? Twilight Princess was absolutely stunning graphically. But the gameplay was so boring. Hyrule had little to offer, the dungeons were cheaply made, it was overblown, and being turned into a damn wolf was the straw that broke the camels back. Not to mention being forced to get whatever move the game wanted you to learn and not letting you progress in the game until you do get it. I know some are optional, but that’s just bullshit. Link is a swordsman, not a fucking ninja.

  8. I’ve never been welcome in any crowd. Always rejected, before I even say my name. So I get attached to the group on FF8. It starts with a loner who isn’t interested in playing around and is all about getting the job done. Then slowly, after working with the other 5 characters they all end up becoming as close as blood. They end up remembering childhood things that they had all forgotten that brings them even closer still. Since I never had an actual family, and literally never once had a friend, I get attached to them. I feel like I’m part of the group when I play the game.

  9. Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is pretty fun once you get used to the controls.

  10. My only recommended game would be tekken because that was the only game I ever liked. I played it on the PS2, never played the new one though.

  11. To some people like radically religious people, the closest to cursing that is allowed is mentioning people who are “damned” and talking about their religious version of “hell”. Or referring to a donkey as an “ass”. If it’s not written in their religious scriptures (Quran, bible, etc.) then it’s a one way ticket downstairs.
