  1. That's the thing, they were on beta, but it seems Samsung and others are releasing these out to the public right now. So it's no longer a beta program. I suppose the price tag helps with that, as I doubt a lot of people will be spending $1000+ on something that could break fast. I see these phones around for a while and then I think they will go into obscurity like all the other weird gadgets of the past do.
  2. Call of Duty 2 for the PS3/Xbox 360 is a good start. I suggest skipping COD3 and going right to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. I also recommend Modern Warfare 2 & 3 (even though I have some hate for MW2 being a hacked mess after some time). Oh and the first Black Ops, but I can't stand any of the sequels sadly. Maybe Black Ops 2 storyline, but if we're going by multiplayer, those games above are my go to.
  3. Guitar Hero and Rock Band haven't been popular in quite a long time. They both kind of had a resurgence during the current gen consoles, but it was soon forgotten and now you don't hear a damn thing about either series. Do you think either series can make a comeback? I just don't see people showing enough interest anymore. The idea was cool while it lasted, but the fandom has kind of dried up sadly. But, if done right, could either game make a comeback? Or are we all out of chances?
  4. What do you consider best for mobile gaming? A wireless bluetooth controller maybe? I imagine to really get use out of it, you'd need a phone holder along with it. Those seem to go for pretty cheap. I have one for Xbox One controllers. So something like the image below. Or, would you rather use a controller adapter on your mobile phone? Something like the image below. Or, maybe even something like this:
  5. Dead Space was a classic horror game, and the second to my knowledge was also regarded as a classic, but when the 3rd game came out, it turned out to be a letdown for most fans. I played the first game for a bit, and really like the atmosphere and the gameplay. I want to revisit that, but I think it could do for a reboot completely.
  6. Well well, looks like Epic Games is yet again throwing games out there in the hopes to draw people in. Don't mind me, I'll grab these two games. 😄 Anyway, Eurogamer reported these deals here. Should be for every country too.
  7. Source of article VGC This is a big step into the right direction in the fight to end loot boxes. EA will be forced to pay €500k every week until they remove loot boxes in FIFA. I sure hope this pushes other countries to ban this shit. I don't care if a game has loot boxes, as long as those loot boxes aren't pushed in some gambling scheme. Make lootboxes something you can achieve by playing the game or by using in game credit you get from playing the game. Because when you put in an option to buy a loot box, no one knows what you're getting. Sure you're expected to gain rare items, but really, is it worth it? Anyway, do you think EA will be forced to remove Loot boxes? I can see them removing them for the new game, and then sneakily putting it in later in their newer games. I bet you, they will try to add them back in later on.
  8. Yes, I love this! I love when they find ways to screw over the hackers/cheaters. I remember they did that recently with Fall Guys, supposedly players were forced into their own lobbies and were forced to play against each other, but I think they did something else to screw with them even more.
  9. Since I've been playing Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, I guess I'll talk about that. I love this DLC for RDR1. The story mode is a ton of fun, and the multiplayer is a blast too. Sadly I couldn't get multiplayer to work last night. I suspect the servers may be down or maybe I just can't get it to work on Xbox One. 😞 Anyway, I played a few hours last night while I had a meeting with some people I work with. I think I'm nearly halfway through the DLC. I'm thinking I might stream it tonight for a Halloween stream. As for the game today. It runs great and still looks great. The controls are a bit stiff though, especially when riding your horse. I respect that RDR2 made some much needed changes. But I still would prefer they keep it the way it was in RDR1 so you can't flip off your horse when crashing into stuff. Deadeye rocks as usual, and there are all kinds of undead monsters to deal with. Some areas can get pretty chaotic. Who here remembers the Undead nightmare DLC? I remember the trailer that came out for it and was so happy to see actual tv spots for the game.
  10. Genshin Impact and just re-started Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare. Just as good as it was 10 years ago. I played for a few hours last night and I think I may be halfway through it already. I wish it was never ending. 😄
  11. That's what I think is going to happen eventually. The hinges alone are going to be a collector of dust and hair, that eventually it will start to just degrade. Linus on YouTube made a video about these phones and did stress tests on them. So he put them in sand I think and dropped debris on it. It was also easy to scratch, because it is plastic after all. I don't think a folding phone is practical. It's cool, and for the most part, it does work, but for how long will it work properly?
  12. Yes, but this is a topic specifically for Remothered: Broken Porcelain. That topic is geared for discussions about the best horror games not just one game. So I don't see a problem with creating a topic just for the game. I also don't see any other topics made for the game so I figured it was fair game to post a topic for it. I think I'm going to wait for a deal on this one to pick it up. I want to give it a shot, because from the streams I've watched of it so far, the game looks scary. The controls don't look super great though. But yeah, will wait for a sale to come to buy it.
  13. With all the talk about how certain companies are awful *cough* EA *cough* Ubisoft *cough* It got me thinking. Why not talk about the developers and publishers you actually respect. What studios do you trust? I'd add Nintendo, but sometimes I'm unsure about them. They have made poor decisions in the past. I think SEGA for the most part is a good studio/publisher. They don't seem to get on peoples nerves so much. Yeah they may make a few bad games, but they aren't on the levels of EA or Ubisoft, or 2K etc. Kojima is someone I'd add as developer I respect, same with Miyamoto at Nintendo. I have respect for a lot of indie studios as well, as they tend to do most of their work and production/marketing.
  14. Remothered: Broken Porcelain recently came out. I've seen some reviews, and they all seem unfavorable about the experience. I think this game was meant for the cult following the first game garnered. I haven't played either game, but I still think I'd like to give them both a try. Especially the new one, as it does look kind of fun.

    GTFO

Has anyone here played GTFO? It came out late last year in early access and it seems to be blowing up lately. It's a 4 player co-op horror shooter. I have not played it yet myself, but I've watched some gameplay and lets play of it, and it looks like a ton of fun, but also anxiety inducing, at least for me lol. But, it's nice seeing 4 player co-op more these days, I get a Left 4 Dead vibe from this one. What do you guys think of the game? Is it worth the purchase? It is currently 20% off on Steam. 👍
  16. Well this was news I was really not expecting. But take it with a grain of salt as it's just an image of a hand holding the new controller, and a PS3 dashboard screen in the background. I think I'd wait for actual video proof of it before anything. But, if true, it seems that it can control the menu and all that, but the playstation button doesn't work. Once they release a video of someone playing a game on the PS3, I will believe it then. You can read about this here - PSU
  17. This is a pretty good deal. Even though PowerA sells their controllers for cheap, they do a great job and are well built for the most part. I own an Xbox One pro controller by them. It's well built and feels heavy in the hand. It's wired, but I'm cool with that. If you're not looking for spend $60 plus on a Switch controller, you can get a few PowerA controllers for just $12 a piece. There are three of them below. Zelda: Breath of The Wild Controller Mario White Controller Mario Vintage Controller
  18. I have no clue how to code games myself, so I will have to bow out. But I wish you luck on your idea. If I knew how to code and all that jazz, I would try to help any way I can. Maybe it's time I learn to do some coding. I could always use the new skills to make my own stuff. But, I don't know if I have the patience to learn lol.
  19. I think it was kind of tougher than the Double Dragon series if I remember correctly. I just don't remember how far I got in the game back then. I just remember loving the graphics and settings when I was a kid. I really need to replay it soon. 😄
  20. Mostly for me I used binders for loose games. But otherwise, I keep them in their discs. And good idea on putting your cart games in a plastic tub. I need to actually do that myself one of these days to protect my games better.
  21. Yeah, it did anger me a bit, but I've come to terms with it and moved on. I'll be angry if they end up delaying it again though. People who go out and send death threats to the devs because of this aren't true gamers, or fans for that matter. I think they just want something to be mad about, so they end up doing this crap to make themselves feel better. Leave the devs alone.
  22. Yup I'm entering this giveaway for sure. Could use a new fridge and hey, wouldn't mind one looking like this to be honest. And I love that the inside actually glows green.
  23. Should cheaters who cheat in an esports event, be banned from that event for life? Or should cheaters get a chance after a suspension? I think to some extent, a cheater should be faced with a temporary ban, maybe for a couple years or so. What do you guys think? I think eventually you would have to allow them try out again, but of course, a second offense could result in a lifetime ban. What do you guys think?
  24. They probably should have. If anything, the most recent delay before this one, should have been until December 10th to begin with. On top of that, they already stated the game was ready. Now they're backtracking because of the amount of consoles/devices it's releasing on.
  25. The gaming industry is full of people who just want to increase their wealth, and don't care about the products they put out. There are a few companies I can't stand, either it be because of their bad practices, or because of how they work and act. It's also because of how they treat their developers and other workers. Companies like EA, Ubisoft, Activision, Blizzard, 2K and more are known for being kind of shitty to their workers, to the gamers, and to the gaming community as a whole. But, who is the most corrupt? EA is probably a clear front-runner for their continues history of idiocy. It's mistake after mistake with them. 2K think they can advertise to gamers who paid for a $60 game, and not get backlash? Blizzard supports the Chinese government and has banned players who disagree with China. Ubisoft just had a sex scandal just recently as well. Activision, well, they're activision. But, what company is the most corrupt?
