  1. I have to agree with Shagger's response. Your console is really old by now. When's the last time you cleaned it? Order a can of compressed air, take your console apart, and spray away any dust and yuck from your hardware. It's also strange that they work, and then suddenly stop. You could also have a problem with some of your discs. First try airing out your console and if that doesn't work you're only a few bucks down the drain for the air.
  2. I doubt it. They already did they market research to come up with the price they are at now for online services. They're already charging 400 - 450 for the console so it would be like a double-whammy to hike subscription costs.
  3. The game of the generation has to be GTA V. Everything about it entertains so many people across a broad age group. GTA has been successful since San Andreas at dominating the gaming industry.
  4. Thanks for sharing! I've already submitted my request with Sony. I can't wait until the console release. I've been using Playstation since the first release and couldn't imagine anything beating the PS4 anytime soon.
  5. Game developers are always so rushed to finish the project. There's a huge difference when you put together a highly creative team and give them time to work but unfortunately that's not what corporate likes to practice. It's all about getting things done and turning a profit. Blockbuster games like GTA, Fortnite, etc. are all as popular as they are because they're unique.
  6. Flash is dead. In all honesty, I think the greater future of online gaming starts with further development of virtual reality. Have you ever seen the show Westworld? One day, we'll be able to simulate anything.
  7. The biggest game I ever quit playing almost suddenly was Pokemon for the Gameboy. I was playing a lot of Pokemon Emerald, and eventually just grew out of it.
  8. Call of Duty World at War - hands down! This was my favorite game growing up. I remember the first time connecting online and playing zombie games with people around the world (how exciting). The multiplayer was fantastic, but the story mode beats all other COD versions, in my opinion. If there was a bunch of free time for developers, I'd love to see some of the old CODs remastered.
  9. What I dislike in GTA is the overpowered gear that higher level people use to constantly annihilate beginners and people trying to run tasks. Another thing I'd change is increasing the amount of time you need to clear out warehouses and businesses because constantly doing them gets too repetitive and you can't enjoy roaming gameplay.
  10. I don't really like Miniclip either - I don't play any other games onsite. But it works for me because it's a friendly site at the office and all I enjoy is 8 Ball Pool.
  11. When you're at the office, 8 Ball Pool is entertaining and isn't greatly competitive so you don't have to worry about your nerves. You can play a game in 5 - 10 minutes with random people. Check out the official game on Miniclip or in the Google/Apple store for mobile.
  12. The strangest game I've ever played has to be any release from the Sims. I can't find the game entertaining, just downright odd. When there are so many other open world games including GTA, it makes it hard for me to believe anyone could be entertained by the Sims.
  13. The first game I can remember playing was 007 on the original Xbox system. Having my best friend come over and duel against me in split-screen was just thrilling. Every once in a while I actually YouTube some old gameplay on past consoles and I'm in awe over the change in graphics over the years.
  14. I'd probably give Call of Duty a shot at eSports if that was something I was into. Back in middle school I signed up with MLG and played in a few tournaments but it wasn't all the hype I expected it to be. I think I had the idea of building a channel more than anything, but competitive gaming is also fun. Also thought I'd mentioned I don't play much COD Multiplayer, usually just the Zombies gamemode with other players.
  15. Some of original NES consoles can have problems so I bought the CE because I knew it would be alright for a long time. I hardly ever play it - it's more of a decoration in my mancave.
  16. Game trading isn't a huge market so they probably aren't as busy as you'd like, but you can still make a post and wait for an email if someone's interested. LeapTrade is probably the larger of the few I mentioned. Good luck!
  17. One timeless videogame is Call of Duty World at War. I always have a rush of nostalgia when booting it up for a classic Zombies round.
  18. I don't play PUBG but COD is among my favorite gaming franchises. I've been playing the Zombies gamemode since World at War and almost always play online so I can team up with other survivalists. Having a headset and being part of the online community is one of the most aspects of gaming. Connecting with like-minded gamers around the globe is really enlightening.
  19. I'm going to stick with the standard edition and even then I'll probably wait about 3 - 4 months for the price to start lowering. Since I don't download games or much content to my device I don't think the digital version will do me any greater benefit.
  20. Wolves

    PS3 worth.

I'd probably pay $100 for a package like that. Just because the console is sold old and the new PS5 is being released this year greatly devalues the device once again. About a year ago I was considering buying a PS3 on eBay that was jailbroken so I could have fun with certain solo games but even JB consoles run a pretty penny.
  21. I can't really see Sony releasing a classic console these days. Too much focus and development on the PS5 that there probably isn't enough time and money to roll out hundreds of thousands of newly manufactured devices. It would be awesome though, I had some fantastic times on the PS2. I remember 007 being my game at the time.
  22. Even though it's not my forte`, I'd have to agree with you. Almost everything in tech gets smaller, faster and better in time.
  23. Twitch really came down with the hammer this last year. It really does amaze me how some of these eSport champs can sign these exorbitant deals to ultimately cheat and lose everything. I lose a lot of respect for guys that take advantage of gaming and it's even more embarrassing when they're famous.
  24. As I've said in another post here, I'm not too fond of mobile gaming. At least competitive mobile gaming. Some of the games I have on my phone are more like brain games and entertain me in the morning when I'm still waking up with my coffee. Here's a quick run-down of the apps on my homepage. Brain Wars Sudoku Words with Friends (favorite) Lumosity
  25. I can definitely agree with you on how 3rd person perspective would make you dizzy. I have the same feeling when I play GTA, hence why I can't play as long as I do on COD and other FPS games. When you're playing video-games, it only feels right to be in 1st person because you're really in it, per say. The action and reflexes are so much different in 1st person.
