  1. On the Playstation dashboard I just have the defaults, with everything that was bloatware installed removed (ex; Sony Music). I kinda just want to maximize the space on the hard drive for games vs. applications, or other things that I would end up using on a different device or so.
  2. I highly prefer consoles, although some games I'll play on my PC (ex; Sims City, The Sims, or basically any PC only game). Never have been a huge fan of the mobile gaming scene since it seems like you end up just using a Bluetooth controller for your phone, and are limited by the screen size.
  3. I remember playing Ace Combat and forgetting that I was standing and ended up falling backwards, but that was the only accident that I had. Thankfully, no broken TVs like a bunch of my friends did in the days of the Wii.
  4. I've played it, but I can't get used to the controls that you need to move around in flight in order to hit the ball correctly (even in those general games there are some serious pros that just show off). Kinda wish they had a better mode than the tutorial that they have since that kinda goes over the basics but not in-depth like you need to be at a level playing field with everyone else.
  5. I remember playing WoW years ago, back when they only gave you like a 72 hour free trial (before they changed it to the level cap now). It was a fun game, but I never had any friends who were deeply into it which you kind of need to do a lot of aspects (and the $10/mo was pricey back in the day compared to other game's membership costs that were/are $5/mo).
  6. Probably any Gameboy based Pokemon game, since the luck in getting specific Pokemon, or the way you can level them up just enough to get into a new area. For consoles, I'd probably say any need for speed or burnout game.
  7. I don't believe so, it has a big esport following, and it seems to be good for EA, who normally does trash at multiplayer/big games outside of sports games. I'll be curious how they can keep the hype going, without having people drop off like Fortnite when they kept changing things as they did so frequently and modifying the way items/aspects worked in the game.
  8. I think that it makes sense. Get people into the game as much as you can, and then have them pay for extra features/maps/weapons, etc. It was odd that Destiny went the route they did for the first game where it was paid, with a bunch of paid DLC that made you feel like you were buying a new game (based on the high price of their DLCs) every year or so.
  9. Singleplayer MMO: Skyrim Multiplayer MMO: RuneScape
  10. I play it every so often, kinda just do my own thing or just do races. A lot of the game is really just kinda boring now or people just going at it with the best weapons/equipment in game which kinda ruins the fun of just exploring or hanging out with friends only.
  11. Battlefield (minus 2042, had no story)l Pokemon Burnout GTA Midnight Club
  12. I've had a few friends who were game testers here in Phoenix before a studio shutdown. They said it's a fun job, but a lot of stress and a lot of issues that the developers/publisher can't fix so you end up having to test sections over and over again once they release new versions/builds (sometimes daily), and make sure you try everything possible that a player would (going out of bounds, dragging monsters out, etc.).
  13. I would say it might be a hybrid environment. The issue is that too many people still prefer disc games due to being able to play offline, and also not having to worry about trying to sell them or let a friend or so borrow them. Buying online makes a bunch of sense too, but a good example is the PS5 - you couldn't really have every game you wanted to be installed at once without having to download the huge game files if you run out of space, but with a disc, you can avoid the internet speed and data needed by restoring it from the game file on the disc.
  14. I think it really just depends on the funding that the studio gets, not so much on finding workers. The biggest issue is really due to timelines, sometimes they are super tight (Cyberpunk) and you end up with a half-finished game or a game that legit doesn't work without huge patches (which should have been what it was on release).
  15. Red Dead Redemption 2, No Man's Sky (sometimes), Pokemon games (obviously), Dying Light
  16. I used to just always keep them, let my friends borrow them, or maybe trade them in with another game - but never for a return when I was completed with them.
  17. The best lesson learned was to make sure that you always read every trade/exchange with players and check if it is too good to be true, or if something else is off.
  18. It's sad too since a lot of those games could have been re-released or at least given a good remaster, since the communities 100% loved them but hated what EA did to change the game once they took over.
  19. Fallout 76, No Man's Sky, Twisted Metal (the refresh on PS3/PS4) are really good examples of just broken games out of the gate that I've personally played.
  20. Spiderman, Infamous 1&2 (if you act good vs. evil) are good examples where they will cheer you on, or give you items.
  21. Most newer Rockstar games (RDR2, GTA V), Death Stranding, Detroit Becoming Human, and on the flip side games that have generated aspects like No Man's Sky, or huge map games like The Crew 2 (water details, amazing, up close details are meh).
  22. 10/10, probably the best multiplayer horror related game out there that still stands this day in terms of gameplay in my eyes.
  23. No Mans Sky when it first came out, same with Fallout 76 when it first came out. 10/10 trash games until they had huge updates (and Fallout 76 is still poor in my eyes).
  24. Syntax

    Genshin Impact

I've played it a few times, the graphics are really good for a mobile game and the fact that it's basically the same game on consoles/PC is a huge plus in my eyes.
  25. I try to stay in the 1.00s area of any FPS, but in all reality that really just boils down to you knowing the game, having better weapons and leveled up weapons, etc. So of course at first your K/D sucks, but gets better as you play it more often.
