  1. That is a very firm YES for me. I am more than willing to give my life in place of any animal. Now let me state, that I do eat meat. That's something that is important to note. But that meat is going to be sold as food either way, which is something I have no control over. So I see no reason to deny myself something I enjoy in this instance. But aside from that, I will die to protect any animal. Especially rats, as we all know. Their lives are worth infinitely more than mine. Humans are the only animal that holds no value. Anything else and I am willing and ready to die for it.
  2. I wish they had kept it. After checking out the YouTube link that @skyfire posted I can confidently say that I would love to have had that one.
  3. If the game is intentionally supposed to be a cartooney design, then I have no problem. Cuphead is a great example of that. I love that game. But if it's supposed to be some form of realistic, then make the damn thing realistic. Twilight Princess was the most realistic Zelda game to date. Even OoT was more realistic than BOTW. I don't know why they're going backwards on realism for catrooney graphics. Maybe it's cheaper. Or maybe it's just that they want to remain being the assholes that we all know by their own actions that they are. I wish they would put the time, energy, and money into making a Zelda game that was as graphically realistic as games like RDR2. I guarantee I would be playing the shit out of that one.
  4. That's a stretch. They're not Neo from the matrix. If they actually could stop a bullet with their teeth, every person on earth would be learning the ninja arts.
  5. Improvising, IS UNTRAINED. Any idiot knows that. And I know that sais and nunchucks are farming tools. I trained with them and am very skilled with them both. The dojo I was in required we know the history of a weapon before we trained with it. But the ninja are famous for their stealth and ability with any weapon. Katana, spear, staff, shuriken, and the kama for example. Sais and nunchucks were often too bulky and/or too noisy to the ninja and were left behind. Ninjas needed the ability to come and go unseen. As for what you said, you put it in the context, I left it there. If you didn't want yourself to be quoted by your own words, you should have chosen different words.
  6. Untrained peasants. You said it, I didn't.
  7. Does this one count?
  8. I'm kinda getting more into delivery. I've become more of a recluse that I initially was ever since Covid hit, and really don't like getting out much. If I have to, I will, but I very much prefer to stay home.
  9. FF8
  10. Which show did you watch the most, if you watched either? I would say I watched them equal, but to pick one it would probably have been Xena. Don't get me wrong, Hercules was great, and I loved the crossovers they did between the two shows. But I think I was more into watching Xena. I have the complete series of both on DVD, and I watch them occasionally. But not as much as I used to. So who are you for? Xena of Hercules?
  11. I broke 5,000 posts.
  12. Anytime we post here, @DC has our IP addresses. If he wanted to, he could use them to track us down to our physical address. It's like that on all forums. He even said so in some of the bid for rewards offers. He said he would check our IP's to make sure we had visited whatever page to get the extra points. I don't know if @Shagger can see them or not since he's a mod and not an admin. I don't know a lot about how Invision forums work as I've never owned, or been staff, on one either. But after more than 2 years here, I know by now that both of them are trustworthy with things like this. @DC also has my physical address as some of the stuff I've won in auctions was physical items that had to be shipped to me. So far no fanboys have shown up on his behalf, so it seems all good.
  13. There was a time, when they cared. But those days seem to be long gone.
  14. Not always. If they committed an act their lord didn't like they had 2 options: exile or death. Many chose death, but many chose exile as well. They couldn't show their face anywhere, or they would face death by their former compatriots. So they hid their face, and used their skills to survive.
  15. I've battled depression and anxiety my entire life. I've tried to kill myself more times than I care to admit, in more ways than I have the energy to count. I fucked it up and failed every time. Maybe I'll finally succeed at some point in the future. Then again, maybe not. I've also been warehoused several times for wanting to, which is fucking pointless. Hell, life is pointless.
  16. If I could live in a simple cabin way off in the woods with a couple rifles/shotguns and a bow for hunting, and the ability to grow a successful garden then I would be happy. I could live a quiet, peaceful life off the grid in nature and not have to deal with the mundane hassles of the first world. I could hike like I used to, learn to study stones, and how to polish them, learn to clean skulls properly, identify trees correctly, and just live like a queen. That would literally be heaven on earth for me.
  17. You might be accurate for some, but not all. Many were dismissed samurai warriors who had no other means of supporting themselves. After a shogun died, many became reclusive and left their old life behind. The skills were passed on by the best to the newcomers and the ninja life was borne to them. So to say that they were merely untrained peasants is a gross misstatement. They were highly trained. They may not have had the technology that the pirates had, but calling them rebels with pitchforks is an ignorant statement.
  18. My god, he is so beautiful. He actually made me start crying.
  19. The bastards tried to leave a bad review, but when the owner left a reply to their review, they got torn apart by other customers. One thing I forgot to mention is that a common thing here in Missouri is the humidity. It is often more than 80%, and that's on a less humid day. We were working all day in that. 95° and 80% to 90% humidity is extremely dangerous conditions to be working outside. But the richie bastards didn't care. One day I remember was so bad, that the owner called all of us and told us not to come in. He wasn't going to send us out to work in those conditions. He still paid us for the day, but we all stayed home and stayed inside where we could keep cool. I still took I think 6 cool down showers that day anyway. For those wondering what that means, a cool down shower is just getting in the shower under only cold water to try to cool down when you're too hot. It works, and can save your life.
