Yes you can turn yourself in. For example if you have a bounty in the state of New Hanover you can go to Valentine, and do something like get a small charge like disturbing the peace or unarmed assault to get the cops attention. Then let the cops arrest you. Or you can surrender to the bounty hunters. If you go for any of the gold bars, they're worth $500 each so you can sell them to a fence and make quite a bit. I have 7 in my satchel currently. But I also have more than $4000 so I don't need to sell them. And always loot the bodies of people you kill, such as Lemoyne Raiders, O'Driscolls, Murfree Brood, and other gang members. When you come across any road bandits loot them too. If your honor rating doesn't mean anything to you, then loot EVERY dead body. You will often get things like gold/platinum/silver rings and watches. You can then take them to a fence and sell them. You will also get plain old cash (rarely more than $1-$3) and different kinds of tonics and medicines for you and your horse. You also get a lot of whiskey, gin, rum, and moonshine as well. Also ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS remember to loot enemy camps. You will find even more supplies there as well. But after you have looted the camp, the same gang will eventually reuse it. But there won't be much, if anything at all, for you to loot from the camp. Maybe a bit of bread and salted meat. But that would be it. But the number one thing you need to do, is get the Legend Of The East satchel. It increases your carrying capacity all the way up to 99 of EVERYTHING.

If you could remaster one old game, which would it be?
The Blackangel replied to Zak's topic in Gaming Forum
I think RDR (not RDR2) should get a remaster. That would definitely get me into playing it as well. I would love playing the events after RDR2 in updated graphics. -
Others may say different, But I'll tell you, PS3's are a bitch to open and take apart. If you can get the top off of it intact and without damage, then you're better at it than I am. I've fixed a few, but they were the hardest system I've ever had to work on.

What game that everyone loves could you just not get into?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Halo always sucked to me. I never got the appeal. To list a few more: Pokemon CoD Fortnite MineCraft FF14 GTA Zelda BOTW GoW 4 That's just a short list. But I never got the appeal of any of them. I tried most of them, but couldn't get into them at all. They only added to my boredom factor. -
What do you do when your console needs repairs?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Considering that I play the old stuff and took 2 years of electronics, I tend to fix them myself. If I don't feel like doing that however, or it's beyond repair, I just get a new one. That's why I have several NES, SNES, and N64 consoles. I also have a couple Game Cubes, and 2 Wii. But I haven't used either in years, as I wasn't a fan of either system. -
What do you use your console for apart from gaming?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
Occasionally to watch a streaming service like Netflix or Hulu. But typically I watch that on either my TV or computer. I really only use the newer ones (PS4, Xbox One) for gaming. The old stuff that I play predominantly, are kinda limited for anything other than gaming. Except throwing at the person who startled you and made you fuck up on a major part that you had spent hours trying to beat. -
Toxic Gamer Entitlement Is An Absolute Myth!
The Blackangel replied to killamch89's topic in Video Games
He makes a lot of good points, and I agree with most of the video. But a lot of the blame falls on us as gamers. Yes developers are putting out unfinished and broken games. But we're BUYING them. If we were to NOT buy them, then the entitlement of game companies would decrease significantly. They're sitting there thinking, "We'll just put out half of what they expect. Who cares if it crashes? They'll still buy it." The more money that is thrown at a major corporation the less they work. Or maybe it's the less they try. Either way, they give us shit, and we sit there and take it. We want quality, but they just say "We'll give you what we give you." How many games have been so short that they were easily beatable in one sitting? How many games are notorious for crashing? How many games make an anthill go š³š¤Æ We're partially to blame for them all kissing their own asses. -
Cosmetically, it was an attractive system. It was also the first console to feature DVD capabilities. The backwards compatibility with PS1 games was also a major plus. There's really nothing bad that I can say about it. I unfortunately missed the era due to reasons I won't get in to. But with everything it featured, and everything it was capable of doing, it was one of the best consoles ever released. I doubt anyone will even try to argue that. And it still holds up today, 3 generations of consoles later. I honestly feel that it laid the groundwork for future disc based consoles.

Skyrim and Witcher 3. Iāve tried several times to play them, and they tend to bore me more than anything. -

Why do so many video games feature tragic endings?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I've known since I was 2 that I'm the only one I can count on. That doesn't do a lot to boost your strength or drive, knowing your entire life that you have no one. -
When Contra was released on the NES, it was revolutionary. A game like that hadn't been seen before. People were buying it up and loved it. Especially since it was during the Iran-Contra scandal. That really brought things home for a lot of people.

Why do so many video games feature tragic endings?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
The problem with that is, that a lot of us are set up for failure. We're never offered a chance. We're kept down when we fall, and no one cares. And many actively try to keep us down. -
What brings you back to a game time and again?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
I would say the memories, but the only ones I have involve beatings. I come back to the same games because I want to escape into that world. I want someone to care. I don't want to sleep with a loaded rifle. I don't want to be looked in the eye and told that I should have been aborted. And the escape takes me out of this world and into another one where none of that ever happened. It doesn't exist. I can be the antagonist or the protagonist. And in a rare case, both. But above all, I get to stop being me. -
The white Arabian is up by lake Isabella. The warped brindle is near the Wapiti reservation. The red chestnut is by Owanjla lake.

Does it bother you that you canāt resell digital games?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
It bugs me a bit I guess. I have a few DDL's on my Switch that I don't play anymore, because they either abruptly stopped (not ended, STOPPED) or they just ended up boring me no matter how good the trailer looked. But I refuse to delete them since I paid real money for them. But if I could sell them, then believe me I would. The only way I can think to sell them would be to transfer the file to a different microSD card and sell the card. I don't know the legality or ethics of that, but it might work. -
How do you choose your difficulty settings?
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
If I'm new to a game that has difficulty setting choices, I go with the easiest setting first so that I can learn the game mechanics and how to play it. After that I go for normal or hard. -
I see this thread blowing up BIG TIME, so I recommend you pin it so everyone can find it easily. I don't know jack shit about modding unless it involves a Game Genie, so I will most likely never post in this thread again, unless there is a game I want help to mod, but still, you should pin it.

A little bit. If you watch the first movie (cheesy as it is) it tells the story with a lot of embellishment.

It's one of the greatest games ever made. It has a little bit of everything you could want. It has a powerful storyline that really immerses you into the game that includes just about every aspect of life you could think of. Not including modern technology, of course. Before you realize it you will have been playing for hours and hours. It is so drawing that I can't seem to get away from it. I actually talk about it too much here, which is seeming to get on peoples nerves. Which I totally understand. But, I just can't say enough about RDR2. If you want to get rid of the bounty hunters, head to a post office or train station and pay off your bounty. Once it's paid they leave you the hell alone. The train station at Emerald Ranch is always a good choice, because they don't really show up there much. Also, catch yourself one of the Arabians. Those are the fastest horses, and they have the highest stamina. Rocks have a higher IQ than the horses, and the damn things WILL trip over grass (trust me) but they are the best for running from someone/something. There are 3 wild Arabians, but the white Arabian is considered by most to be the best one. Personally I like the red chestnut, and the warped brindle. If you have gotten to chapter 4, you can also buy one in St. Denis. It runs about $1000, but if your honor is high, the price is discounted.
