  1. I don't think there's any way to really know beforehand. COVID-19 is screwing everything up so much, that until they hit the shelves, I really think we're gonna be left in the dark on prices.
  2. For the last 30+ years, Blaster Master has always been my favorite. The Legend Of Zelda is a solid second place, but it can't touch Blaster Master to me.
  3. More times than I care to admit, I've tried to become that ghost just to try to get away from the memories. Obviously I wasn't successful no matter how I tried, or how many times I tried. The end result was always a sprained neck, sick as hell (pills), or a jammed gun that I had to take in to get it back into firing condition.

    Age

God, I don’t even remember being your age. That was forever ago. I’ve hit another birthday since I replied initially. I’m 38 now.
  5. When I played D&D as a kid I would come up with a pretty detailed backstory for my characters just for fun. My backstories actually became really popular, and people were actually paying me to come up with stories for their characters. I just needed a few bits of info, and $5. I always asked for a week to get a really good story written, and I would deliver them on Saturdays at the gaming hub. I made decent pocket change doing it. But that was more than 20 years ago.
  6. Being beaten daily by my drunk bastard sperm donor (aka dad) and told daily just how worthless I am by my narcissistic egg donor (aka mom) I had no self worth and would take it and believed it when I got it. I believed it was my fault and that I had done something to deserve it. The fact that all my extended family joined in didn’t help the situation. Due to that I was always mean as hell as a kid. I didn’t wait to take it, I dished it out first. Now I stand up for myself, typically with 18 million volts. Or 10mm if the situation calls for it.
  7. Cabin fever is about to make me completely lose my mind. I’m sure a lot of you feel the same. But just how severe has the cabin fever gone for you? For me, not even gaming helps. I’ve played, and replayed my games so many times that I’ve burned out completely on gaming. The games I’ve gotten here, the ones I’ve gotten in the Nintendo eStore, and the ones I’ve had but never played until now. Insanity is seriously about to set in. No TV shows or movies are any help. But this post is directly about how the virus is affecting you and gaming. So what’s it done to you?
  8. When my mother-in-law found it funny to start threatening to physically assault me. And when I went back at her, I was the one in the wrong. It almost ended my marriage. Xtians.
  9. I’m not actually saving up for anything, as I buy either on eBay or through the Nintendo eStore.
  10. I have little to no interest in the new consoles coming out. I highly doubt that with one, possibly two, exceptions I won’t even have any games in my sights. I’m a God Of War fan, and Castlevania fan. Castlevania has kinda slacked iff in recent years, but I still enjoy the older games. Eventually everyone will be playing their PS15’s and I’ll still be playing my PS3. Assuming my crippled ass is still alive at that point.
  11. The only way this could apply to me, is if one that I got off eBay took longer to arrive than it should have for whatever reason.
  12. Streaming does more good for a company than bad. It shows a lot of the technical prowess, and personal opinions of the game being streamed. But that game, while it may not be the streamers personal favorite, may become the biggest thing since SMB or Zelda. I only see positive things coming from streaming.
  13. So far Switch hasn’t reached the GameBoy/GBA situation yet. All the games released so far can be played equally on either the Switch or Switch Lite.
  14. It all depends on how I ended up with the game in the first place and what system it’s for. For example I buy bundles a lot. Sometimes it’s for one thing and comes with a lot of extra stuff that I don’t care about. That I let go of. But games that I intentionally buy specifically with intentions of playing, I don’t let go, whether I ever play them or not. For example I have ES: Oblivion. I’ve never once even gotten it in the vicinity of my PS3. There are more games than just that one in my collection that are in the same boat. From Atari to PS4/Xbox One, I have probably 300 games total. There’s more than 100 at least that combine games that I’ve either never played yet, or not played in a very long time. But I’m not getting rid of them. Who knows, maybe I’m just a hoarder and don’t realize it yet.
  15. By far my favorite game on Switch is Goblin Sword. It's a simple side scroller, and so far beyond fun, that you can't regret buying it. And for those that love the Sega Genesis graphics style, you'll love it that much more. I've always been a Nintendo chick, but I still love this game.
  16. I buy a lot of digital downloads through the eStore, but I don't do anything with cloud. I would love to be able to play NES and SNES games on my Switch, but not so much that I'm going to pay a monthly subscription fee.
  17. Sports games were pretty big back then. You actually controlled the team/athlete. It was real instead of scripted and fake. Also you didn't have to go through so much training, or specs. For a large part, interest in sports games has waned a bit, but stayed fairly even. A lot of people play FIFA and American Football like crazy. I play any snowboarding game I can get my hands on. Racing games are still big as hell. I also have a few hockey games, as I'm a major hockey nut. I'm actually jonesing to watch a game at the moment. College, minor leagues, or NHL, I don't care. As long as a sport has fans, there will always be games, both retro and current that have a fanbase.
  18. Zelda A Link To The Past (SNES)
  19. I'm sitting here bored out of my mind, and thought something like this might get interesting to pass the time. basically it's a fake fight where people argue about petty things. Not seriously arguing, but just goofing around. Something like how people in the UK say Mum, and Americans say Mom. Goofy shit like that. Keep it light however, this isn't intended to become an actual fight, but it's supposed to look like one. Any of you assholes wanna take me on?😈
  20. Straight to the point. Does anyone have it, and is it worth the money?
  21. I remember it. I can’t say I watched it much, but it was fun to watch them panic when they realized they were busted. I may be a sociopath, but they are the sick freaks.
  22. I’ve been playing the third dungeon for almost a fucking year. It’s the third dungeon of the Zelda ROM-hack Goddess Of Wisdom. I finally beat the god damn thing tonight. This “game” is way too fucking hard. There’s a difference between a challenge, and a “fuck you” to the gamer. But am I done? Not until I beat it or have a brain hemorrhage, whichever comes first. I’m too stubborn to quit until I’ve beaten it at least once. But I can tell you right now that this damn thing is going right next to DKC afterwards. I can’t play that series due to how much it pisses me off. And the hemorrhage seems to be a real possibility. The difficulty of this game is nuclear. Battletoads is a snoozefest compared to this. I literally got a killer migraine tonight from this game that put me in bed at 6:00. I feel like I want to throw up. This is one of the times that I wish the local hospital had given the green light for their doctors to send applications for medical marijuana cards. I’m at the top of the list, but they’re digging their heels on it. My brain melted playing it tonight. I just hope I have an ice cream carton and a sponge here somewhere. As a word of advice, stay away. It may be an SNES game, but it’s harder than any game you have ever played. I guarantee it. The only reason I’m continuing is because I have to. I’m more hard headed than a chunk of diamond. This game is at such an extremely severe difficulty level that it can be a serious threat to both your physical and psychological health.
  23. There's not a whole lot of information out yet, but it is confirmed that there is another Hellraiser in the works that they're hoping to have released sometime in 2022. They don't have the cast chosen yet, but for the love of the Gods it better be Doug Bradley. He is the ONLY one that can play Pinhead. No one else can pull that character off properly. Hellraiser is a longtime favorite series of mine, until Hellraiser Revelation came out. I refused to watch it because it wasn't Doug Bradley playing Pinhead. He actually refused the role because he felt they had gone too far with the series and that the script was shit. If that's what Pinhead felt about the movie, I'll side with him. From what I gather in the articles I've read, it's supposed to be a remake of the first Hellraiser. Whether it is or not, I don't know. Like I said, not a lot of information has been released yet.
  24. Just booted up FF8 a few seconds ago.
