  1. Interesting name, I must say. Very unique, so you get brownie points for that. Welcome to the VGR forums.
  2. Are they PS2 games? The early releases of the PS3 supported PS2 games, but they caused overheating and the system to crash. So Sony rereleased the PS3 without PS2 capabilities, even though PS2 is still mentioned on the home screen. If you’re running PS2 games, you would be better off getting a PS2 to play them on.
  3. I just mentioned Brexit because I was including the price in Euros. I didn’t know if that made the Euro an invalid monetary system or not. Canada and the US both use the dollar, but the Canadian dollar is only worth about .77 cents US. And it’s not accepted anywhere except In the US with a few exceptions of the biggest border crossings. But those take both USD and CD. I don’t know jack shit about European politics.
  4. A couple that look good to me are Rune 2 and Ashen. Also I have Kingdom Come Deliverance and it's a really sweet game. If I'm getting the price conversion right, the prices are below. Rune 2 - $29.99 / £24.24 / €27.72 Same price for Kingdom Come Deliverance. Ashen - $39.99 / £32.33/ €36.96 I decided to include the Euro as well. I don't know how far the whole Brexit thing has gone, and whether or not that affects the Euro in the UK or not. Assuming it was even accepted there to begin with. But I figured what the hell.
  5. Could you put it towards a Final Fantasy game?
  6. MDK for PS1 finally came in the mail yesterday. I'm looking forward to playing it.
  7. More Switch games today - - - Bouncy Bob (DDL) Ding Dong XL (DDL) Ascendance (DDL) Ascendance is absolutely beautiful. If you need something soothing and relaxing, GET IT. You will not be sorry.
  8. What is your favorite genre or franchise? I can poke around in the Nintendo eStore, and if there's a game available in both, maybe I can give you a few ideas.
  9. I can't say anything for anyone else, but I am definitely not selling mine. I may sell some of the duplicate systems I have, but I'm not selling any of the ones that I have hooked up to play.
  10. When I can spare the money, I’m gonna be getting Untitled Goose Game on Switch. It’s a little goofy, but a lot of the indie games coming out nowadays are. Which is refreshing if you ask me.
  11. I wasn't the biggest fan of the first one. It screwed up the stories so bad, that it was almost not worth finishing. An element or two were right, but if you're going to draw from a book that is a collection of stories, whether the book is right or not, at least keep to how the damn book wrote them. But that's the problem with movie adaptations from books. They always fuck up the story.
  12. Smart move. It's a better idea to wait past launch. Prices go down, bugs fixed, more games available. If I have interest in a new system, I always wait a minimum of a year past launch to seriously look into getting one. But the last time that happened was PS3.
  13. I know a couple die hard Sonic fans that despise SMB. But I could count them on one hand and still have fingers left. As for Contra, there are definitely super fans, but I doubt there are any obsessive fans. Maybe it's just me, but the first stage always reminded me of the Vietnam War. It just looked a lot like what was to be expected in the jungles there. Weird I know, but I always think immediately of Vietnam when Contra is brought up.
  14. I wasn't going to mention it, but I have BPD as well. That could be the reason our thinking was so similar.
  15. Both on Switch - Mario Odyssey Poly Puzzle (DDL)
  16. AN absolute classic. One of the greatest. Zelda OoT for me.
  17. Maybe you should mention that it's a fucking joke? Saying that I have nerve? You're damn right I do. I don't put up with bullshit. I don't give a fuck what game you pick. Pushing it onto others is what I give a fuck about. I don't care if it's a god damn joke in your eyes. It's not one in my eyes. There are people that don't and can't tolerate having shit shoved on them. Maybe you should try taking your head out of your ass. But a word of ASSistance, that's a lot easier if you don't put your foot in your mouth first.
  18. Bullshit. Just because that's what you would pick doesn't mean anything to others. Don't project your opinions onto others and tell them that their opinions are wrong if they don't mirror yours. That's a very entitled statement. Solipsism is not an attractive trait.
  19. Hatred. Nuff said. But for those wanting more info, I get to go around slaughtering unhindered. No moral constraints, no cares for who it is that I kill. The world is finally black and white. None of that “gray area” bullshit. Misanthropic desires sated. Bloodthirst quenched. Stress relieved, until tomorrow. Then we begin having fun again. I guess that also offers a bit of explanation behind my hollow teardrop tattoo.
  20. That one was good. It made the infamous Polybius almost seem real. Like I've said a few times already, I played a game in an arcade here that was called Polybius, but obviously it wasn't the infamous one. It couldn't be as the infamous Polybius never existed.... ...............right? LOL
  21. I am so sick of fighting games. They are always the same thing, over and over and over and over. Never any new characters, never any new moves, never any new story. MK, SF, KI, SC all keep up with the same bullshit in every edition. The only change is the damn graphics. At least when Killer Instinct came out on SNES, it was different. It introduced characters like Cinder, Glacius, Fulgore, and Spinal. Characters that weren't human. Jago was a true ninja, unlike the characters in, say, Mortal Kombat. And also next to impossible to use. But when N64 came out, they made no effort to improve the game. Just the graphics. I would love to see something truly original, but the problem there is that the fighting genre has been run so far into the ground, that it would be embarrassing to the developers to even make one. It's truly sad.
  22. I don't know if it's available on Steam or not. I just came across the PS1 disc here at home and didn't think too much about it. Like I said, at first I didn't see the "Animorphs" part of the title. I thought the game was just called Shattered Reality. @Shagger Thanks for the video. It looks way too clunky and more frustrating than I have the patience for.
  23. You know what happens if you play Godzilla backwards right? You see a very kind monster that puts out fires, rebuilds entire countries, and moonwalks into the ocean.
  24. What is your favorite episode? I would have to say the Pepsiman episode. I had never even heard of the damn thing before this episode. But James was absolutely hilarious in it. I was cracking up the whole time I watched the episode when it was uploaded. I have Yo! Noid and have had it for years. I knew that there were a lot of companies that were in no way related to video gaming, that had released games. But I never knew that Pepsi had done it as well. But in my opinion, Pepsiman has to be one of his absolute best episodes. I haven't seen every AVGN episode, but I've seen most of them. Pepsiman has my vote. What's yours?
