  1. I love venison. It’s amazing. I haven’t had it since I was a kid. Mostly due to me not being able to hunt. But venison makes better summer sausage than any other meat, and that’s a fact.
  2. You could have a point there, but look at the success of games such as Minecraft. Games don’t have to have life like graphics. Some people need it. Some don’t. It’s a personal choice on their gameplay.
  3. Nah, they just look for the nearest garden. Gotta get fertilizer somewhere.
  4. I don’t believe in xmas, so I didn’t do anything for the supposed “holiday”.
  5. Maybe they don’t have a one way digestive system. Maybe when they eat their body holds on to every single part of the food and saves it until it needs it.
  6. I got asked to make a logo for a YouTube channel that someone is wanting to start, but I need to be able to do some animation that is apparently beyond the capabilities of anything that comes as part of Windows 10. They left it open to whatever I wanted to make, as long as in some way it related to their channel. They're making another one of those channels going over reddit posts. So I'm wanting to make a video of a rat walking up to a red R/ and then tearing it apart, since in essence that's what they will be doing on their channel. The problem is, that the Win10 3D programs SUCK. So does anyone know a good one?
  7. I was trying to decide on a file to play on Castlevania SOTN the other day, and noticed something. Apparently they couldn't decide how to spell the word "reverse".
  8. I agree with you there. But the sad thing is that there are people that have to have the current generation of whatever it is, whether it's any improvement or not is irrelevant. They have to have the current iPhone, they have to have the newest Xbox, they have to have this years car, and on and on and on. I don't get it myself. I used an iPhone 5 until around September of this year when it completely crapped out on me. Why? Because it still worked and did everything I wanted it to do. What am I using now? An iPhone 6S. I don't need the newest shit. Old shit works just fine for me as long as it does what I'm wanting it to do. It's part of why I'm almost exclusively a classic gamer. I love the old cartridge games. They entertained me more than 99% of the games since the Game Cube era. I wasn't big on PS2 either. Granted there are several PS3 games I enjoy the hell out of, and a couple series I'm a fan of. God Of War for example. But so many of the games you guys talk about, I only know that they're not the type of game I would enjoy playing myself. I've watched videos on YouTube of people playing many of the games, and I know it's not my thing. So unless we get a machine that is literally a Ready Player One type of setup, I highly doubt I'll be buying anything from the next 5 generations.
  9. That's actually not true. Deer are one of the more dangerous animals we have in the US, especially during mating season. A buck will attack a human without hesitation if it cant run. And the power of these animals is immense. There are several hunters every year that are gored by deer, most of them killed. Here in Missouri that is. And a doe with a fawn is just as dangerous. She will intentionally run at you and attack to protect her young. There was one incident a few years ago where a guy hit a fawn as it was crossing the road with its mother. he tried to get out of his car to check the damage and the doe wouldn't let him out. For whatever reason he couldn't get his car to start again. I think the radiator had gotten busted in the collision. But according to him she was snorting, bleating, hissing, and rearing up and attacking his car with her front feet. He ended up having to call 911 to get help out there. Deer are no laughing matter.
  10. In my opinion the gaming industry has been on a steady decline in quality since the Game Cube. Games are less imaginative, shorter goals, sequels are either the exact same thing as the previous entry, or so damn different you have to actually wonder if they're in the same series. Sure graphics are getting sleeker, and more realistic. And processors are typically getting more powerful. But did we really have to sacrifice quality games for that? I don't remember many people raving about Wii, PlayStation Move, or Kinect. Those came and went with little interest. Most of us just wanted to play the game without having to be a fucking acrobat. There's apparently a special reason they called the other half of the Wii controller a nunchuk. For ideas I say go back a few generations, look at the blockbuster games, get your ideas there, and then move forward. Otherwise, I see 1983 happening again as gamers continue losing interest in their favorite systems due to it not showing anything new.
  11. We could try to organize a boycott, but that would take millions of gamers to have even the slightest bit of an affect. But other than that, and what you said, there really isn't much we can do.
  12. One game I recommend everyone stay away from, is Marble Madness on NES. That game will make you blow a vein in your forehead. Those fucking marbles are next to impossible to control and the time limit is a killer. It's one of only two games on NES that I have to use a Game Genie just to be able to make it through. The other is Legacy Of The Wizard. The object of that one is to find 4 crowns to release a dragon so you can kill it. I've been playing the game for 30 years, and to this day have still only found ONE crown. I love the game, but damn! KMNP!!!
  13. I couldn’t try any sport whether I wanted to or not. I’m wheelchair bound for the rest of my life.
  14. I had mine removed a few years ago. I stuck to thin soup like chicken noodle, and soft stuff like yogurt and scrambled eggs. Now I’ve had to have everything on bottom pulled and most of my teeth on top pulled so I wear dentures. They’re not a good idea if you can avoid it. For example, since there’s no feeling in them, I don’t know where my food is in my mouth or if it’s chewed up enough to swallow. And I’ve had problems swallowing my entire life. I can’t eat anything unless I have some kind of fluid to push it down. I’ve had to be heimliched more than once.
  15. The same can be said for hunters that do it for the food. Many are below the poverty line, and hunting is their only way to feed their family. But killing a deer for only the reason of hanging a taxidermied head on your wall is just wrong. And all too often, the meat goes to waste. The deer around here are big enough that they could feed a family of 5 for two months. Sport hunters don’t care. Sport hunting isn’t to keep the population under control. It’s for the sole purpose of getting to kill something. If that’s what you’re after, kill a person. There’s an over abundance of them. Human populations are beyond out of control. Kill them instead. Nonhuman animals matter. Humans (homo sapiens) do not matter and have absolutely no value.
  16. First off, calling it “mythology” is extremely offensive. You wouldn’t refer to Xtianity, Judaism, or Islam as mythology would you?
  17. This is the first time I've had this problem. I've uploaded images many times before with no issues.
  18. I was going to start a new thread that I needed to upload a couple images to, but no matter how many times I tried, the images wouldn't load. I tried different file formats, different size images, refreshing the window, and even closing the tab and opening a new one. Nothing worked. Hell I even restarted my computer at one point. I don't know what's causing the problem, but thought it needed to be brought up since I don't know if it's just on my end, or if anyone else is having the same problem.
  19. @StaceyPowers post about overpowered enemies made me wonder about the other end of the spectrum. What about enemies that are just too damn weak? As in so weak you wonder why they were even written into the game at all. I'm not talking about enemies you find everywhere that always took one hit to kill, like skeletons in Castlevania SOTN. I'm looking for something a little higher up the food chain. Bosses, mini bosses, that type of thing. Ones that you beat and you think "That's it?". I would have to say that the GF's you have to fight in FF8 all fall into this list. None of them are a challenge. All you really have to do to beat them is hold down the X button. Ifrit, Brothers, Diablos, Cerberos, Bahamut, Tonberry, Cactuar, are all candy ass pussies. All you have to actually remember with them is what you have junctioned to your elemental attack. If you have the wrong spell junctioned then all you're doing is healing them instead of hurting them. But still they are so weak, that I always feel let down by the game, even though it's one of my absolute all time favorites.
  20. Castlevania SOTN. When I get stressed or just want to keep my hands busy, I usually go for this game. It's good for relaxation.
  21. There's only two that I have ever played that I enjoyed, but one of them may not count. The one that may not count is the fishing in Zelda OoT. I enjoy it because depending on the size of your catch, you get really good rewards. A heart piece as a kid, and the gold scale as an adult. It also gives you a distraction from the main game if you're kinda stressing out. Getting Epona is another fun one. The other minigame that I really enjoy is Triple Triad in FF8. It's a simple card game that most always took for granted, until they taught Quezacotl the card mod ability. Then they saw that the cards could be modified into really useful and important items. Also I just think it's loads of fun to play, and collect the cards. I just never go anywhere near the Queen Of Cards side quest. That always goes so far beyond enraging me, that I'll not only blow a gasket, everyone reading this will get a migraine that they can't find a reason for. When there's something like that, that pisses me off that much, I quit right then and there. It's also the reason I don't play DKC anymore. That game went above and beyond the psycho bitch factor. I have all 3 on SNES, but I don't touch them. That's a blown valve that I don't need.
