  1. I've never modded anything, and to be honest I don't even know how. Also I don't really know what the perks are to modding a game or machine of your own. I know a lot of people advertise those 10000 game preloaded systems. But I don't know how to do that either. I do know a guy who does that though. He buys things like Game bay, PSP, Wii U, and other handheld systems, then mods them adding like 150 games. He makes a pretty good bit of money doing it. It's not his job/career but it brings in a good amount of extra cash.
  2. I collect 2 things. Zippos and skulls. I currently have over 60 Zippos and somewhere between 25-30 skulls. I haven't counted recently so I'm not sure the exact number. My biggest skull is a toss up between my zebra and buffalo. I'm honestly not sure which is bigger. If I had had a few grand to burn at last year's RenFest, I would also be the proud owner of a hippo skull.
  3. I would cast my vote for Conker's Bad Fur Day. It was so out of nowhere when it came out, and the only game I can think of that was ever made that was explicitly for adults. Yet today I haven't heard mention of it or come across a game like it. Sure there are games that may have sexual content and strong language, but name me one other game where a pile of shit with corn teeth sings to you.
  4. Barry Manilow is a hell of a talented singer. Some of his songs were and are instant classics. I Write The Songs and Mandy are probably my favorites of his. I also love Ready To Take A Chance Again. Just amazing music. That probably sounds weird as hell coming from a metalhead. But hell, I love Beethoven as well, so go figure.
  5. This game took years from my life, but it was not a loss. A pure classic that has and always will stand the test of time. In my opinion it's best played on an actual Atari or Colecovision. There you get the full experience. And NO that classic/flashback shit doesn't count.
  6. The Plutonium Boss/Underworld Lord in Blaster Master was probably the absolute hardest boss I've ever faced. Shadow Link was a billion times easier. For me at least.
  7. If it's not a left hand path religion, then it most likely would seem too gothic. But to each their own. If you have the option in your admin screen you should set up a dark theme as an option for those that are photosensitive, or those that just prefer it.
  8. I did what you could call a religious forum once. The color scheme was black red and silver/gray. It went pretty well, until I took down the site and sold the domain.
  9. I was on my phone when I typed that response so I think that "kids" was supposed to be "kinds". GOD I FUCKING HATE AUTOCORRECT!!! I even tried turning that shit off, but it didn't do any good. Anyway, the only time I can see me working on game development is if I was making a ROM-hack with some friends with no absolute deadline. I actually have 3 that are hard as hell, but just as fun. The Legend Of Zelda: Parallel Worlds The Legend Of Zelda: Goddess Of Wisdom The Legend Of Zelda: Ancient Stone Tablets All 3 are on the SNES. Like I said they're a bitch, but they're great.
  10. I'm extremely photosensitive, so the darker a site is, the easier it is on my eyes. I actually wear sunglasses in the house. So there are almost never lights on. It does help with the power bill though.
  11. Since our first period started at 7:00AM I was usually asleep in class. Having to be up between 5:00-5:30 every morning to get ready, eat breakfast, and catch the bus was not easy.
  12. I never had problems setting up MyBB forums. But SMF and phpBB are easier to use and set up in my opinion.
  13. I hadn't heard about that. Where would you even buy something like that?
  14. A good exercise routine does improve your quality of life. But there are those of us who are incapable of working out due to disabilities. So we're kinda screwed.
  15. You can always set the registration up so that bots aren't able to complete it. A lot of forums are able to do that, and it keeps the bots at bay.
  16. At the moment all I know is HTML, so any site I would make would be pretty simplistic. Forums are usually available within the package you choose when you buy your domain from within your cpanel. Most aren't as elaborate as Invision forums, since they're just free. But if you can get a yabb forum, then you've gotten a fairly decent one. But if you want a site that's going to get much traffic, then you either need to have some serious abilities with it, or hire a professional.
  17. My first was a PS2. It was pretty hot tech at the time even though I got it a few years late after the price went down, and it really kicked some serious ass.
  18. I've worked a couple kids like that, and they were pure hell. The emotional toll they take is extreme. I quit them after only a few months.
  19. I was never really able to get into Game Gear. No disrespect to Sega. It was leaps and bounds ahead of Game Boy at the time. But it was just never my thing. I was just a Nintendo kid growing up. Nintendo is still my favorite game company to this day.
  20. The biggest myth I remember was pushed by the church. It was that the idea of video games came to the innovator in a dream that was sent to him by none other than Satan himself.
  21. @killamch89 Annie Palmer's ghost. You are absolutely right. Spirits are everywhere. It doesn't matter if you can or can't see them. They are there.
  22. @killamch89 What is your belief about duppies? How about Rose Hall?
  23. If you attack me at every opportunity the way this piece of shit has been doing, I will eventually get vicious. I'm not the type of woman who takes this bullshit lightly.
