  1. If I go to a casino, I always play the slots. I can't afford the $10 ante to get in on Poker or Blackjack. So the slots is where you'll find me. On cruises I don't gamble a lot, but I tend to hit the casino more. The best I've ever done is to walk in with about $10 and leave with $41. I'm not the biggest on gambling, and I actually haven't gambled in years. But I also love to play penny poker. Everyone gets a roll or two pennies, (1 roll is 50¢) and we gamble with that. No big lost if you bust. But still a lot of fun.

But typically I only gamble with my life, not my money. I do dangerous and stupid shit, but it's a lot of fun in my eyes and a hell of a rush. I mean who else has jumped from one truck to another going 70 mph (112.654 kmh) with only a football helmet for protection?

Got it. So no 90's except for 2 exceptions? I live for 90's music 🎶🎶 almost all 90's. But I do appreciate some 80's rock as well. More late 80's, like the big-timers Alice Cooper, Quiet Riot..

    Thanks Blackangel

The only mainstream bands from the 90's that I like are Linkin Park and Disturbed. Technically they released their first album in 2000, but it was close enought o the 90's that I still count it.

Like I said, everything else that I listen to is either underground or 80's rock.

The canon in a video game (or any work of fiction) is what is considered and accepted as descriptions of the genuine events, locations and characters in that fictional world as opposed to something merely based on it or inspired from it. It's difference between something that's "made up" and something that's "real" in a fictional universe if that makes sense. For example, Sarah's death in The Last of Us is canon, but if somebody was to create a work of fiction telling an alternate story where she survived, that would be non-canon.

We all know I have never played TLOU due to my phobia. Can you describe it in RDR2? That would make it a lot more easy to understand it, since I'm still confused by it, since I'm extremely familiar with RDR2. I know a hell of a lot about the game. Not everything, but I still have extensive knowledge about it.

  4. Personally I wasn't impressed with BOTW. I don't like the mechanics, the fragility of weapons, the lack of rupees to be able to buy anything in the game. ANd the graphics are just a hair better then Wind Waker. that's saying something, because the Wind Waker graphics are nothing short of vomit inducing. If I want to play a cartooney Zelda game, I have NES, SNES, N64, and Gameboy to play them on. If I'm going to go for a new game the graphics had better be equal to, or better than Twilight Princess. But considering the route they have gone, they don't give a shit. In my opinion, the quality of the Zelda Franchise started going down at the release of the Game Cube, and that trend has only gotten worse ever since. Which is sad, because The Legend Of Zelda is one of my favorite franchise's in all of gaming. It got me through an extremely abusive childhood.

  5. They cut it because they wanted New Austin to be completely inaccessible with the exception of the mission to rescue Sean. There is a glitch you can exploit if you're desperate to get into New Austin as Arthur. In chapter 4 when you finish the cemetery scene that Bronte has Arthur and John go do, instead of returning to Bronte's mansion take John and ride to New Austin. The glitch of having the both of them together allows you to search all of it, providing you don't try to actually go into Blackwater.

@Rain Dew showed me that glitch a couple years ago. She does it every time she starts up a new file. I'm not all that worried about it unless I'm feeling desperate to finish the Explorer 9 challenge.

  6. I don't know how to feel about this either. Goldeneye 007 was a monumental game, and pretty much universally loved. But sometimes for a game to remain legendary, it needs to stay where it was to begin with. I'm not saying that a remake/remaster is necessarily a bad idea. But the odds of them screwing the game up by adding too many junk features, or removing something the gamers felt was critical are just way too high in my opinion. I say leave it alone and leave it where it is. Or if you're desperate to bring it back CHANGE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. Give the gamers what they remember and love. Update the graphics if you have to change anything, but just give us what we loved. Personally I won't be playing it on anything new, because I feel that the N64 graphics are part of the charm. The crux of being a classic gamer.

  7. Having to interact with a bunch of assholes you didn't like to begin with. I took body conditioning as an alternative to typical gym class. Body conditioning was just spending time in the weight room, without any kind of set activity. If you just wanted to stand around and chat that was all you did. I did max out on some weights. I could push 410 on the leg press, squat 250, and even got to where I could curl 100. Most didn't dare try to challenge my records. Funny enough, I could never bench more than 115. Being a girl, I typically just benched the bar (45 pounds). The guys enjoyed watching me. Perverts every one of them. So I eventually just started going to the gym and running laps. The guys in the class were always too busy playing basketball to notice me, which made it even better.

That's very good to hear. A few more days isn't going to be long and he's going to be back home soon. I would definitely love to see his pictures when he gets home if you don't mind 😊

Technically speaking, you're right. But when someone you love is unable to come home for "a few more days" those days feel like a lifetime. Trust me on that. We're going out of town for about a week here soon, and I'm already having separation anxiety due to being away from my pitbull for so long. I'm looking forward to getting home to see her again as much as I am to the trip, if not moreso.

  9. Most recently I was caught up in an insurance scam. @Rain Dew and I were coming home one afternoon, and this bitch (pedestrian) decided run across the road in front of me just as I came through the intersection. I slammed on my brakes and swerved, and barely missed her. I instantly pulled to the side of the road to catch my breath. Then one of the 5 people she was with came up and told us that she didn't see us. THE BITCH LOOKED DIRECTLY AT US. The argument she and her "friends" (I call them coworkers) were in a massive argument and yelling at her the whole time. They were obviously pissed that the scam didn't work. But I also have a dashcam, so any bullshit they tried to come up with when the cops would have inevitable been revealed with whether it was true or not, because I would have had it all recorded.

Aside from that it's probably been close to 15 years since I've had any kind of accidents.

Honestly - I don't have much to say. However, I don't get why it's such a big deal when the Royal Family hardly did anything for the Brits especially the lower class. Why is it that when anyone asks what has the Royal Family done for their citizens, it's always something half-assed and vague.

I think it's typically that way with every political leader, or politician in general. Some can point out a couple things, while the majority either can't or won't.

  11. I was raised Roman Catholic, despite being excommunicated when I was 3. That's not a typo. Three years old. A toddler. I never saw any kind of legitimacy in christianity in any form. To me it's nothing but a big criminal cult.

I did briefly consider a conversion to Judaism, but the Abrahamic religions just aren't for me. Organized religion as a whole just isn't something I could truly get behind. I have my views and religion, but I keep that to myself unless someone who is interested in learning asks to talk about it. Two things I try to avoid talking about are religion and politics. Otherwise I'm more or less an open book.

You know what, I think we've listed literally all of them at this point. I think we should keep this topic going, but maybe switch to a different letter?

yeah, maybe this should be a new topic though? 😅

I can't think of any, off the top off my head.

Lets make it a little more challenging. No countries containing the letters A and/or E in the country name.

    Comoros

    Morocco

    Congo

    Cyprus

    Fiji

    Burundi

    Kosovo

    Djibouti

    Togo

Hello and welcome everyone, whether you be Greek, Turkish, child or pet, to me completely owning this topic.

This will be no problem whatsoever, thus I brim with confidence! One thing you must be imported to within the bounds of your own knowledge is the there is options every time for everything. Sure, it will test the limits of one's drive, foresight, diligence not to mention cognitive experience, but needless to say it is very possible. You just need self belief and not be deterred.

This is VGR, thus there is one distinct subject most discussed here, the one most attune to this specific forum. I confess there are difficulties discussing this subject here on this topic when the hobby in question itself holds the offending letter forbidden by the rules, likewise dose most verbs one would normally use to discuss this subject, but I wish to test myself, so here it goes.

    I Inform:

    H2x1_NSwitch_ImmortalisFenixRising_image1600w.thumb.jpg.c0c51543efa74c06d6f0d9cb91fb92d8.jpg

I recently procured this promising gem by Ubisoft utilising Xbox's premium service on my PC and I find my feelings mixed. In this story, you fulfil the role of Fenyx burdened with the objective of rescuing the Greek gods for the evil, vengeful foe Typhon. An epic story with the open world to complement, but is it good?

First, being forced to use Ubisoft's "Connect" service, even whilst redeeming on Xbox for Windows, was inconvenient, but then this grew even more troubling with sudden errors removing me from the experience completely. I remember this occurring four or five times in the course of merely the prologue (plus maybe a little further) of the story (I guess six to seven hours). In other words, it does not work properly. It's been eighteen months since this dropped, so shouldn't such issues be fixed by now? I further confirm they peddle the DLC and MTX too forcefully for my liking. The good news is this is not troublesome to ignore, but it should still be noted .

However, there is no denying this is gorgeous. It holds very pretty environments with stylish lines plus energetic, bright colours. It might surprise you to find side splitting humour in plenty. Fights being intuitive and fun with excellent control. It might feel slightly too simplistic for others, but for me it functions with enough with diversity in used techniques.

Levelling is simple, while exploring more complex, but not overly exerting with collecting items of much importance to levelling, so due diligence required here. Each one works with the other nicely.

So, my first few hours with this shows there is promise, but will likely continue to incense me with "21st century" issues as opposed to problems of the Gods. Still, it is fun when it works, not to mention stunning to eye, so I vow to persevere.

So, how was that? Did this mini-review/first impressions without the offending letter used even once impress? I must confess it upsets me I could not use the my preferred title I employ in my reviews, but needs must. Thank you for indulging me.

You broke the rules. You used the forbidden letter quite frequently.

  14. There were rumors here in the states that the queen had tried to convince Charles to abdicate so that William could take up the throne. I have no idea if there's any truth to that, but it would be interesting to see happen. Also in the rumors, Camilla was pissed at the thought. Shes a power hungry social climber, no different than Meghan Markle. If Charles makes her queen, I see the entire UK in a hell of a lot of trouble. Elizabeth never made Philip king, so Charles should by all logic, have the right to decide if he wants to make Camilla queen.

There are tons of rumors about the royal family here. If Kate had had as many children as was reported, she and William would have about 30 kids, a lot of which would be twins and triplets.

Americans are well known idiots, and these rumors just prove that.
