I know, but considering how big a fan you seem, I was surprised that you hadn't posted any of their music. As far as the video goes, I just really like that particular song.

I'm surprised @Shagger hasn't posted this next one.

With my dogs I have a very simple philosophy when it comes to food. If I have to go hungry so they can eat, then so be it. I'll be hungry. I put all my pets above myself. They come first.

I wasn't the one holding the controller, but my best friend's boyfriend is a CoD fan. He started playing it when I was over one day, and it sent me spiraling back to when I was in the military. My time in was traumatic, and then a game like that left me screwed up for several days.

On another note, I bought a couple rabbit hutches to use for my rats, and ended up bringing home a rabbit as well. So I'm trying to rehome her. I've eaten rabbit when I was a kid, and while it tastes awesome, I wouldn't hurt this little bunny. I don't have it in me to harm or end a nonhuman life. Humans I really don't give a shit about.

Most Ridiculous Social Media Trends/Challenges
The Blackangel replied to killamch89's topic in General Chat
I only gamble with my life, never my money. It can be thrilling at times and boring at others. It's just how I find a lot of thrills. I don't do stupid stuff like try kissing a rattlesnake. But I do other shit. Well, things that my body and health permit, which is little to nothing these days. -
I have to disagree. Pitbulls are the easiest to raise. They're well mannered, clean, loving, playful, and fiercely loyal. They want to love on everyone. They will protect you with their life if they see you in a threatening situation. They are short haired dogs, which means much less shedding. you can leave a baby with them and they will defend and protect the child ferociously. The only downside is that they're afraid of loud noises.

VGR Member of the Month - July 2022 Nominations

It's absolutely allowed to thank someone. But this is technically the wrong thread to do it on. Either way, no one is going to have a problem with it. @Shagger also helped me out A LOT when I was promoted. I also want to thank him again for his help. -
RDR2 Online was a massive flop. There are die hard gamers who play it, but they are few and far between. It didn't generate subscriptions anywhere near what Rockstar thought it would. They saw it as a money making scheme, but it has so far ended up costing them more than they've made. It's why on the website for a long time they were trying to sell gold bars. To lure people into playing the game. But since the online version failed, and the game wraps up with John building a house and back into the outlaw life, which leads up to the events in RDR, they still have nowhere left. Like I said, Jack would be in the 1920's era, which offers nothing.

Thinking of going to college. A couple issues. Need advice.

I haven't done either. I can't afford any schooling right now. Also I suck at math and the math skills needed to obtain a degree in astronomy are so extreme that I would have no hope without hours every day with a tutor. -
The idea for this thread came to me while I was replying to @Yaramaki's thread Videogame Franchises that outstayed their welcome? There are a lot of game series that the developers have shot themselves in the foot with. One of the biggest examples is the RDR franchise. Not counting Red Dead Revolver, the first RDR had a lot of promise to starting up a new series. But at the end of it, things really had nowhere to go, considering the time frame it would take place in. So then RDR2 came out which was a prequel. Now what? A prequel to a prequel? A sequel to the first one? Is Jack going to run with Al Capone? Is he going to be a lawyer like his mother wanted? RDR has absolutely nowhere to go now. Unless something huge happens, it's dead. Maybe they'll release a game from the viewpoint of the O'Driscolls. That one wouldn't sell as everyone is more attached to the Van der Linde gang at this point. What are some others that have left themselves nowhere to go?

Videogame Franchises that outstayed their welcome?
The Blackangel replied to Yaramaki's topic in Gaming Forum
MARIO - SMB has been a staple of Nintendo since the NES released in 1985. And every system has had at least one Mario game, which is fine. But they released so many variants and remakes of the game, that Mario and Luigi are unrecognizable at this point. And Luigi has been all but forgotten since the N64 eleased. With the exception of Mario Kart and Luigi's Mansion, I don't think he's even in the mix anymore. Compare the first SMB on NES to Mario Odyssey. The only parallels I can find are the name Mario and Bowser, who was originally called King Koopa. Princess Toadstool changed her name to Peach at some point. Mario is played out, plain and simple. GTA - I'm gonna catch hell for this, but GTA is going stale. Sure there are a lot of people who absolutely love the game, but from what I've seen of them, it's all the same damn thing over and over. Which is the problem with too many sequels. I also understand that when a game is a hit, the developers want to keep riding it for as long as they can. I've played several of them, and aside from the title, they were the same with little to nothing that was new. HALO - Halo has got to go. I know that Microsoft had a massive hit with it. It's popularity is probably what sold the Xbox. People wanted to play a console exclusive game, and to do that, they had to buy the Xbox. Simple supply and demand. But I see it as the same as GTA. The same thing puked up over and over with little to no new features. Maybe things have changed since I last played it, but it has definitely outstayed its welcome. COD - What else do I need to say? CoD inspired many other titles and games of the same subject, but there is nothing of substance anymore. There are plenty of other games that I can fight gun battles in. Change it up a bit PLEASE. SPORTS GAMES - I'm sure everyone will agree with me on this. Every sport has a new edition every year, and aside from possible roster changes, it's 99% exactly the same as the previous one. If companies would wait 2-3 years before releasing another one, I would have nothing to say about it. And I'm sure other gamers would agree with me on this. But FFS, do something else besides giving me another sports game that has no difference from the previous ones. -
Who do you most like spending time with and why?

My dogs are the same way. Their stomachs are black holes when it comes to food. And god forbid I'm eating something that smells good. -
Very true, but the number is radically different. Women who are into porn typically expect every man to be hung like a horse and know how to use it. While in reality an average size is better because you can usually get a good fuck out of it. The guy is timid due to the size of his penis, and then tries harder to please the woman. Whereas women tend to be worried about the size of their tits because guys tend to prefer big ones over smaller ones. It's why we have Wonderbras and average push up bras. It makes our chest look bigger. I actually know a guy however that prefers small breasts. From what I've heard, he is also hung like a horse and knows how to use it. He told me once that he always thought he was average or possibly even a little on the small side. I guess growing up with it and not having anything IRL to compare it to is what set his mind at that. Typically, guys also want us to be as tight as a clenched fist, which is NEVER going to be a reality. So the fear of not being adequate runs the gauntlet of all sides. But typically men worry about it more.

Silly completionist things you did as a gaming newbie
The Blackangel replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Gaming Forum
RDR2 is a bitch for that. There are tons of weapons in the game, many of which you can easily find or craft yourself. It's rather daunting to collect them all, as many are unique items. But some can only be bought in one place. For example the M1899 pistol is only available in St Denis, and only when you enter Chapter IV. It's the same with horses, clothes, weapon equipment, and anything else you can get in the game. Completionists want to get a hold of absolutely everything in the game. Me personally, I only have a couple things that I want to try to get all of, but that's just to see it in my compendium. No practical reason. Just cosmetic. -
Are you okay with Xbox not selling as much as the PS5?
The Blackangel replied to Kane99's topic in Xbox
PlayStation is more popular than Xbox in almost every way. There are a lot more people searching for a PS5 than there are searching for an Xbox Series S/X. The PlayStation being made by Sony is already a selling point, as there are tons of people who crave Sony devices. So when they entered the gaming market, they already had a huge fan base. Xbox does have its loyalists, but the market is mostly dominated by Sony. Nintendo held that position for decades, but has lost ground to Sony. If you look around (here at least) you will see the Switch (including Lite and Oled) and Xbox Series S on the shelves everywhere. It's an ungodly rare occurrence to find a PS5 on the shelves, because they have already sold. The Series X is harder to find, but you still have the same technology in the Series S minus the ability to play discs. Also you have to factor in the fact that a lot of people don't trust Microsoft. I use a PC, and I don't trust them. I'm not a fan of Bill Gates in any way, but I've used both PC and Mac, and the PC is far superior to the Mac. Sony has a lot more trust put into them, because they have ALWAYS made quality products. Microsoft can't make that claim. Sony is the top selling console on the market right now for a plethora of reasons. -
Microsoft Dismantled a PS2 To Help Develop the First Xbox
The Blackangel replied to Kane99's topic in Xbox
There are many systems that have come and gone over the years, and many had contracts for a certain tech product through other manufacturers. It's like movie rental stores. You pay them and you get to use their technology. But eventually you have to return that technology or pay them more for it. Every company does it, and it tends to benefit both in the long run. Think about games that are ported on all gaming platforms. PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo. For example, Skyrim has been out since the PS3 era and is on every gaming platform since. I have it on PS3, PS4 and Nintendo Switch. I plan on trying to get back into it soon, but no set date. So it's not friends helping friends. As @Shagger said, it's purely a business tactic to make more money. All hail the almighty dollar. 🙄 -
Not if you were in the Marines, it isn't. It's one of the worst triggers in cinema for a hell of a lot of us. I still have flashbacks, and none of the memories are good. If I could find a way to wipe out all my memories, I would be a much happier person.

While I have responded to this previously, I am moving this thread to the Mobile subforum as it directly is about apps on a mobile device.

I can't watch war movies, due to traumatic occurrences when I was in the military. However I do know a few that people might like. 1) Full Metal Jacket 2) The Deer Hunter 3) The Rock <-- this one is more modern, but they showed us the same clip in boot camp every week.

I have to start a new thread here. Every thread I see is related directly to soccer, which is fine. It is after all the most popular sport in the world, and everyone plays it. But I have no interest whatsoever in soccer. I played it when I was 8, and haven't been in it since. Yet there's a lot of people like me, or that have interest in other sports. For me I'm a hardcore hockey nut. I love the game. I know there are others who are into NBA, NFL, MLB and so on. So this thread is for open discussion wherever it goes for sports talks that are not soccer related.

Porn always puts a completely skewed idea of what sex is in the minds of young boys. They think women was them to cum all over our faces. They think we're all bisexual. That we would happily take 3 guys at once. And some of the positions are things no woman would honestly go for as they're completely impractical. For instance Pile Driver would benefit no woman, as with no blood in her pussy means no orgasm. If guys could watch it healthily and realize that women in real life are not porn queens, things would be a lot different. Sex would be a lot better for both involved.
