Long as the framerate is consistent, I don't particularly care what it is.

Having grown up with games that ran at often less than 30 fps, it's not as important to me as a lot of newer gamers who I feel are honestly a bit spoiled in that regard.
However I do care about the framerate being consistent. I don't like sudden dips.

The description is too vague - I can tell the requisite research wasn't done because the variety of gamers is too vast for this definition of "gaming disorder" to properly identify which individuals fall under this category.

Well, that’s the beauty of Mindstorms, and LEGO toys in general; if you’re creative enough, you can build just about anything you want. I for one have ambitions to one day build a functional Protoss Dragoon from StarCraft out of it.
As for YuGiOh!, I’m mostly interested in getting specific cards for my decks. I’ve got a Code Talker archetype deck planned out, but most of the cards I need to make it work aren’t available outside Japan yet; the majority of them come out of the Master Link structure deck, and one of them comes from an issue of V-JUMP magazine. I doubt that last one is getting an international release, but I can hope.

I think multiplayer tests your capacity towards the competition. Single player is good enough to test yourself against AI but with real human, you have to compete at some point makes it fun. 

VR in its current state isn't really suitable for E-sports. In the future, it will happen at some point but the current tech we know as VR is very gimmicky at best and is riddled with issues.

That "significant impairment" language is common in psych diagnoses, and it is indeed problematic. It can go the other way too. I'm getting an eval for high-functioning ASD in a few months. My impairments are significant to me, and have made it a challenge to function in the world--but alas, they are not as glaringly obvious as those in a low-functioning person. There is a tendency for psychologists to shrug and go, "Well, you're getting by, so ..." :/

Anyone played Stellaris? I know it's not the most popular one out there but it's one game I liked. You can check the gameplay below. 
 

I think gaming makes us think from different perspective. Like say we always try to find other options to solve some of the problems in our hand. And in such context I'd say that real life is lot different but thinking from different perspectives is a good practice to build. 

Pikachu's design was actually very good, the design and detail is great. Have you seen the movie ? You should give it a try, its not an oscar winning movie but its definitely funny and worth it.
Why you dont like Pikachu's design? I mean the movie is realistic enough and they didnt messed up the character like in Sonic's movie, which by the way they are currently fixing and they even delayed the movie until 2020 to give more time to the producers and designers.

Stellaris
Doing a cooperative multiplayer run with a friend, both of us playing Determined Exterminators; machine empires that have one simple goal: Eliminate all organic life from the galaxy. We're gonna try to do just that, and divide the galaxy about 50/50 between us.
Right now we're caught up in a defensive war against two organic empires working together to try to eliminate us. We weren't ready for war, or we would have been on the offensive instead. I'm hoping we can finish that war quickly so that we can focus on preparing to destroy the nearby Marauder Clan before it has an opportunity to become a Horde and completely thrash us both.

@Executor Akamia @The Blackangel I was expecting responses about specific moments in terms of writing in single player games for some reason, but your responses emphasize an important point. The most memorable moments in games are often the ones we make.

Those are always some of my favorite moments! My mind is always blown by just how much there is to discover.

My favorite moments come from multiplayer games where some arrogant opponent declares that I've already lost the game for some reason or another, only for me to turn the game around and make them eat their words.
This has happened to me during StarCraft II once. I described it in another thread, but basically it was Protoss vs. Protoss, and I was a Silver League player defending against a Gold League player who was using some very nasty cheese tactics, trying to get an easy win. What he didn't account for was the fact I had been cheesed one too many times that season and had figured out (on the fly, admittedly) how to defeat the ones he was using. He left without a GG.

As Jacob and I discussed, we felt that lootboxes probably should be banned. Banning microtransactions, on the other hand, is probably unnecessary, but there should certainly be more regulation of predatory practices involving them. The problem with this bill in particular is really the framing of it and the approach that it's taking in confronting the issue; by framing it as protecting children rather than addressing specific practices it calls to mind the moral panics in the US during the late 80s and 90s around violence in video games and so on, and it suggests that the senator doesn't understand the issue well enough to make a reasoned argument (admittedly, a common problem in US politics when it comes to technology, the internet, and games). I suspect that the bill probably won't get enough attention to progress, but if it does, I think this angle of approach makes it easy for publishers to make some small concessions and put up a facade of making changes while not really changing anything fundamental.
There needs to be a serious governmental debate around lootboxes and microtransactions, but I don't think that this bill is the right way to start it.

Just whatever character looks the coolest or if its a game like Super smash bros or Marvel vs capcom I just choose whatever character I like the most from my favorite franchises. I mostly dont care about the game style of the character because I'm equally bad no matter what character I use 😆

When it comes to fighting games, initially I play around with several characters until I find one that I just click with. For example in KI I'm best with B Orchid. I used to play Soul Caliber 2 in the arcade a lot. I was deadly with Kilik. The game was always packed with people, and I made it to 6th place in the top 100. And on a college campus, with thousands of gamers hitting that machine up, that was a hell of an accomplushment. I got it on Game Cube just because Link was a guest character. I wasn't bad with Link, but I'm better with Kilik.
