Absolutely, one major change that comes to mind is the introduction of VAR (Video Assistant Referee) in soccer. Since its implementation, it has significantly affected the game by reducing human error in refereeing decisions, though it has also introduced new controversies and debates about the delays it causes and the precision of its decisions.

Another Manchester United player injured again!
killamch89 replied to Knight Barida's topic in Sports
I definitely think so. They need to overhaul the whole medical department. Maybe get some more modern technology to better assist the medical department to carry out their functions more effectively. -
Seeking professional guidance from coaches, trainers, and nutritionists can make a big difference. These experts can provide personalized advice, help prevent injuries, and tailor training programs to fit individual needs and goals.

What concerns me is that they keep firing managers every season and it's a young group of players. They need stability to thrive and Chelsea isn't providing that for them.

Mega Man Game Boy games are now on Nintendo Switch Online
killamch89 replied to Ravenfreak's topic in Nintendo
That's awesome! I'm really glad to see the Game Boy Mega Man games on the Switch too. It's a great way to re-experience those classics. I haven't had a chance to play them yet on NSO, but I'm looking forward to playing Megaman Battle Network series on it. Mega Man Xtreme and Xtreme 2 would be fantastic additions. Here's hoping we get those soon. -
Nintendo has always focused more on unique gameplay experiences and its strong lineup of exclusive IPs like Mario, Zelda, and Pokémon rather than raw hardware power. These franchises have a huge and dedicated fanbase that drives console sales regardless of the hardware specs. Additionally, the hybrid nature of the Switch, allowing for both handheld and home console play, offers a versatility that appeals to a wide audience.

This brings back so many childhood memories! I remember playing the old TMNT games on my NES. Combining that nostalgia with modern roguelike elements is a genius move.

Wow, VIVIDLOPE sounds like a unique blend of puzzle and platforming mechanics. The dynamic gravity aspect reminds me of games like Gravity Rush.

Was playing some Counter Strike 2 today and our team was getting cooked by a camper. I had to be targeting him because the rest couldn't come up with ways to get close enough to kill him without alerting him.

I know what you mean. I'm on very few discord servers because a lot of them are a huge waste of time in my opinion.

I’m not usually into ARPGs that much, but the anime-inspired aspect and co-op features might make this worth a try.

Personally, I'm really digging the art style and combined with the Unreal 5 Engine, it really makes this game pop.

One thing I’m curious about is how the shadow mechanics work in practice. Do you think the game has a good balance between challenging puzzles and accessibility for newcomers?

The pixel art and top-down style seem like a unique approach for a survival horror game. I’m really curious about how the game portrays the horror of war without any supernatural elements. Are you planning to play this?

That does sound interesting! I love the Cyberpunk aesthetic, and fast-paced shooters are right up my alley. I'll definitely seems like something I’d enjoy - I'll be keeping an eye on it.

Absolutely, it's interesting to see how the Switch has outlasted previous consoles. I read that the continued release of strong first-party titles and consistent third-party support have been key factors. What upcoming Switch games are you excited about?
