Bethesda can't make a truly great game without their modding community's input - Skyrim, Oblivion, Morrowind would be average games without the modding communities. Fallout is the same - as a matter of fact, Fallout 4 is mostly a broken buggy mess without mods. As the failures of Redfall and Fallout 76 prove, without the modding community, Bethesda isn't a great developer.
-
I'm glad it failed because these idiots really had a single-player mode where the game had to be connected to the internet. Really? I hope other gaming companies will just stop with this stupid crap. Bethesda proving once again that without their modding community are terrible developers.

Netflix getting into mobile gaming spells a recipe for disaster as Mobile games tend to be viewed negatively by most other types of gamers.

I'm not sure what to say about this? On one hand, it's obvious they're being greedy by launching Quidditch as a standalone product as it could make for more multiplayer content for Hogwarts Legacy. On the other hand, with the success of Hogwarts Legacy, making this into a multiplayer competitive standalone game will likely rake in more money as Harry Potter has a huge fanbase.

That's my problem with this - what's the point? They're not really achieving anything noteworthy by doing this and creating more enemies across the board is very stupid. The whole other reason I'm stumped is because a lot of smaller gaming companies ie: Indie operate at losses so Monster Energy Drink won't gain much profit from suing even hundreds of them. If I remember correctly, there are certain words that are too popular to be copyrighted by any company so this shouldn't be happening. Monster Energy Drinks is just going after English named products that use the name Monster. It absolutely makes no sense.

Don't forget the GPU and CPU prices - good gosh! At times, it seemed like the only way to get one was to donate an organ for cash or something. I'm glad the prices have decreased to a somewhat affordable point and even now, I've kind of started to tell people that building PCs is WAY too expensive. Just buy pre-built or go with a gaming laptop.

I'd say, Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic II - this is a prime example. The first game was an absolute masterclass and what did Lucas Arts do? just absolutely destroy the franchise with one of the most nonsensical endings I've ever seen in a videogame.
-
To be honest, I've never used it myself. As a matter of fact, I've only heard of it a couple of times but I don't think I or anyone I know uses it. As for social media itself, I tend to stay away from unless I'm using it to talk to friends or business associates. I swear I've lost brain cells just being on social media - too many idiots who can't comprehend the basics.

The Witcher and Elder Scrolls isn't for everyone and Castlevania is one of my favorite lore in terms of fantasy. Dracula's tale is so flipping sad - it's one of the few times in a fantasy series where I actual feel for the villain. He's extremely well-written and a complex one. I also love Zelda although I'm not as invested in the lore but I do love the games.

First time in months playing some Rocket League. Haven't lost my touch at all...

I've always wanted to get into snowboarding but the only time I can experience it is travelling to the US or Europe in winter. When I first tried it, I was actually decent at it because I used to skateboard as a kid so it wasn't that hard to get into.
-
Same - Mini golf is always fun. It depends on where you're from. If it's the US, cricket isn't popular there so most people wouldn't have played and it's boring so they definitely wouldn't play it. It's far more popular in the UK and in countries like India.

Which game can you go back to over and over again and not get tired of?
killamch89 replied to Shortie's topic in Video Games
The Beta is currently out according to my friend and I've seen a bit of it and honestly, I'm keeping my expectations low because Activision Blizzard are capable of ruining highly anticipated games. -
The thing is, some of us are playing so many new games that some are bound to slip our attention. There's Dead Island 2 that came out recently, Resident Evil 4, Hogwarts Legacy just to name a few. I wasn't even aware of this game until @Kane99 made this thread earlier this year and because there's hardly any news about it, most of us probably forgot.

VR for learning real-world trades and skills
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Virtual Reality
For visual learners, this could be a major advantage as you can properly demonstrate certain things without any real drawbacks like risk of injury depending on what they're trying to learn. -
Do you find VR more immersive, or less immersive?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Virtual Reality
VR is definitely more immersive and it'll probably get more realistic with the ever increasing advancement in technology. Trying out one for myself really changed my whole perspective on how amazing it is. Mind you, it has its issues but it's definitely more immersive. -
Will some people be “left behind” if VR becomes big?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Virtual Reality
That's a very valid point and I agree, there will always be left behind with any new technological advancement for various reasons. -
If VR ever gets to be like a holodeck, what will you use it for?
killamch89 replied to DC's topic in Virtual Reality
Play the newest Elder Scrolls title out and fight all kinds of enemies or GTA - the possibilities are endless!
