Would you say Best Buy has the best computer selection and deals?
killamch89 replied to melanie_marie27's topic in PC
I totally agree - When it comes to computers especially, stores like Newegg and Microcenter are the best places to look. -
Nope and that's because I don't normally screw with my electronics like that unless I'm trying to repair them.

Have you ever mistakenly spilled coffee on your desktop keyboard?
killamch89 replied to joblessdude's topic in PC
No because I don't really have any liquids around my computer because it cost me a lot of money to get in the first place. -
I mean, there are third-party dock for the Steam deck that are way better. It is also definitely on the pricier side as well so I can understand the mixed reviews.

I can't believe I forgot about this game - the puzzles used to be so interesting. So for those of you who have never played it, it was a game where Sly was a thief sneaking into all kinds of places to steal rare stuff but you faced all kinds of obstacles. One of the many other brilliant IPs that Sony has tossed to the side and will not get a new game.

I'm not that interested in VR given the current state of the technology so I couldn't care less what it costs and even if I was, I'd give it some time until the price drops to around $100.

Let me guess? it costs an arm and a leg and selling your kidneys on the black market as well - Razer products are ALWAYS overpriced and most of the time, they aren't really worth the premium. That being said, it's a very good looking controller.
-
I'm also looking forward to Forza Motorsport for 2023 - the graphics are breathtaking.

Yep - he'll have to get something else. And to think that Xbox has the audacity to be selling a poster of it for $25. I mean, we can laugh about it now but back then, it was no laughing matter.

Why does it take so long to load? I mean I have pretty fast internet along with a more recent gaming laptop that's two to three years old at best. I'm sorry, I got pretty bored and left just like @Justin11.

There are so many candidates: Halo 2 Fable Mechassault KOTOR Forza Gears Of War 2

My Xbox one which I gave to my cousin that I still borrow occasionally, I got it as a gift in 2015.

Do you think 7th gen consoles will ever become "retro"?
killamch89 replied to NightmareFarm's topic in Platforms
Conspiracy theory time lol. But on a more serious note - Eventually, people 50 years from now will be like, can you believe they used this ancient piece of tech? That's if humanity survives until then... -
Fair point too - I use my Ipad to play mobile games. My phone is needed for more important things.

How do you decide which platform you will play each game on?
killamch89 replied to StaceyPowers's topic in Platforms
For the record, I do also own a Nintendo Switch that I thoroughly enjoy as well but I'm primarily a PC gamer. -
It's not just game sizes either - your location in the world makes it difficult to have access to certain physical copies of games particularly new ones and to import them from the US does cost quite a bit too so it's much cheaper and practical for people living in third-world countries.
-
Reverse compatibility is a great thing because you can still enjoy your older games on the newer console without having to have multiple consoles. Some people just don't have the space to store multiple consoles along with physical copies of games so it saves them a lot of space.

I'm telling you right now just spray paint Battlefield, COD or FIFA onto a piece of paper and their fanboys will pay $60 for it.

How can it be a failure if none of us even knew it existed until it was shut down?(kidding btw) Seriously, I must be getting senile but I can't even remember if it was Square Enix or Ubisoft who made this game because if I remembered correctly, both of them have had a game fail within a year and shut down and most of us didn't even know they existed.

I was disappointed with Gran Turismo 7 and as a massive Gran Turismo fan since the original game, I couldn't believe how badly Sony screwed it up.

To be fair, when I played Skyrim the first time, the opening sequence was boring as hell but once the game got going, I loved. In subsequent playthroughs, I started appreciating the slow start as I started to take in more of the minor details and foreshadowing in the story.

It's an online MMO where you can create your own superhero and you had tons of customization options so you'd probably be there for hours everyday making alternate costumes for your character.

When games penalize you for dying, do you just reload?
killamch89 replied to DC's topic in Gaming Forum
Sometimes I'm bored and I just feel like dying without a penalty is too boring. I do tend to torture myself by purposely making it much harder as I like the challenge.
