  1. Anything with Facebook spearheading it is trouble - It'll eventually become widespread but I want somebody else to spearhead this whole transition.
  2. Of course it'll get smaller. decades from now it will probably be reduced to sunglasses and eventually will be implanted into our brains.
  3. I agree - I'd give it 2-3 years before I ever started using it. I'd much rather use a refined product than be the "tester".

    Steam Deck

Not really because they offer unlimited customizability in terms of software when it comes to the Steam Deck so you can also install emulators on it if you wish. So most people will feel more inclined to use the Steam Deck.
  5. This one definitely escaped my site as this is one of my favorite horror games of all time. You guys know how much I despise most mobile games but I'm willing to give this a try.

    Android to iOS

I've had both before but I'll always be an Android user primarily. IOS is way too restrictive for me and the needs I have.
  7. Played it when it first came out but it's been overrun by hackers and bots so I haven't really played it since. If they could get rid of the bots and hackers/modders, I'd be willing to give it another try.
  8. I've never really played any version of Minecraft. It just doesn't appeal to me.
  9. Same here - I only have a few paid apps. I don't care for the apps with the freemium model.
  10. In the last year, Ubisoft has definitely upended EA for me. Activision and Bethesda are temporarily off my horrible publishers list as they're under new ownership and I have to see what Microsoft does with them first. I've been so turned off by Ubisoft in the past few years that I've stopped playing games like Rainbow Siege and Watchdogs because I will not support those filthy bastards.
  11. For me, Elden Ring, Horizon Forbidden West, Starfield and maybe Dying Light 2 (my anticipation has waned somewhat because the game is at least 5 years late). Otherwise, I can't name anyone else.
  12. Bobby Kotick should be in prison by all accounts so we'll see what happens with that. So I'm curious how is Microsoft going to deal with these harassment claims because now they've inherited that. I suspect they'll settle with the victims and maybe do some massive restructuring as well.
  13. Well GTA V has outsold all its predecessors by quite a margin and GTA online continues to be Rockstar's biggest earner so more than likely, it'll hit 200 million within the next 4-5 years.
  14. They seem to focus more on quantity but I hope the quality didn't suffer because of it. Those 420 hours better be worth it because there's no reason for the game to be that long unless it's broken up into multiple DLCs.
  15. Outside of Resident Evil Village, I'm struggling to name a game that came out in 2021 that I can say was even entertaining or memorable. It was a gaming drought if anything.
  16. This is a tough one - maybe a politician simulator game so that we can run the country fairly instead of prioritizing the rich at the expense of the poor.
  17. For me personally, I'd go with the original Metal Gear Solid for PlayStation 1. It had everything - amazing story, excellent and unique characters and lots of replayability.
  18. I'd say I love gaming more - However, I do play music while gaming so both are enjoyable activities to me and doing them together brings me pure joy.
  19. I agree - Spec Ops: The Line really makes you stop to consider your choices very carefully. The Stanley Parable is also a pretty crazy game that is full of twists and turns from the get go.

    Overclocking

Agreed - overclocking is kind of useless nowadays considering the base performance of most components is more than sufficient for most gaming needs. This wasn't like a decade ago where even the best specced PCs struggled just to run Crysis on high settings.

    Gaming on Mac

The more recent Macs with M1 and subsequent processors can play games and there have been sever al benchmarks on various YouTube channels so you can check those out.
  22. They're likely going to implement the framework of his software for emulating their Android apps onto other platforms. They did the same thing with a company that made smart glasses - they plan to integrate that tech into the Google glasses.

    Game size

Updates in technology used to create games require far more resources to make so like COD for instance, most of their games end up being something like 300GB which is ridiculous to say the least.

    Origin

You forgot to add that it's buggy at times and is prone to locking up at random times for no good reason. I use mine to play NFS: heat and every now and then it locks up on me and when I contact EA (why do I even bother when I already know what they'll say), it's usually some generic message which doesn't really help so I have search Reddit for somewhat of a solution.
  25. Well, RDR2 is the beginning of the story. The first RDR is actually the sequel so yeah...
