I have one and I usually got something like 4-5 hours out of it before I had to recharge it.

I do try to plan most of the time but sometimes, planning isn't enough to get it over the line so you have to improvise.

Forza Horizon 5 - been playing this a lot lately. Really fun game.

As @Shagger and others have said, it's best to build/buy a future-proof PC. At the moment, I'd recommend going the gaming laptop or prebuilt PC route and doing lots of research is key with these, as you'll have to part with a good chunk of money. Eluktronics and XoticPC are two that I can recommend as I have friends who've bought machines from both and get great support years after the original purchase. Plus, their pre-built PCs are customizable (it'll cost extra but you can make the upgrades you want).

I've seen a lot gaming laptop manufacturers doing the same thing - making it hard to upgrade the RAM/memory.

Apple M1 ProMax is pretty powerful for what it is and the generational leap is amazing. Give it a few more years and they might give high-end gaming laptops a run for their money. That being said, I still wouldn't buy a Mac...

I heard that Nvidia is outsourcing chip production to other companies other than Samsung to meet the demand for its graphics cards in the near future so hopefully this can address the supply issues going forward.
