With all due respect, this has not been handled as fast as you think. I have seen posts needing deleted or locked for hours before you get to them. That's not a mark against you, It's just a simple fact that you can't be around 24/7 to deal with this quickly. That's not your fault, it's the curse of needing to eat, sleep, live life and shit. AKA, being alive. Being a human being. Nobody is suggesting your ability to handle running this site is in any way compromised, just that it has it limitations due to the fact we're human beings with limitations. You are handling this well, as well as anyone could, all I'm suggesting is that with some help, it could be even better. Please, think about it.

@DC You know I love you dude, and respect you even more, but this problem has been resurfacing in a major way the last week or so. I understand if you don't want to give someone the aforementioned mod rights, I really do, but you said yourself it makes sense to do. So, with all due respect, I'm going to have to push you man. Either make this choice or just tell us you don't want to go through with this. All we want is to do is help.

I've decided that, with the exception of me, @Crazycrab and @The Blackangel, the VGR forum, as much as I love y'all, has terrible taste in music. Anyway, here's Iron Maiden, Pearl Jam and Sabaton.

Never buy a PC from a shop if you intend to game on it. Find an online retailer who at least has a slight clue about gaming PC hardware and order from there, but the best thing as always to do is; ... that Build it.

Sorry, but who cares? Even for fans of these games what on earth do you expect to learn from leaked footage of FIFA? "OH MY GOD! It actually looks like soccer as opposed to Lacrosse or powerlifting! Get that footage on the internet! The world need to know!"

Can you list your spec's?

When l hear about video game rage, I can't help but think of this; But ok, for real. I'm not one to overreact. When I'm angry, I'm usually more angry that I look. I can't think of a moment where I really close my rag and broke something if whatever, but I have a my fair share of frustrated rants to the nobody else in the room.

It's like the sprite from "Snake" has literally escaped from the game and is now running amok around the circuit board being chased by Fallout Eyebots.

Been playing Ghost of Tsushima and Fallout 4 lately.

Surprised I haven't replied to this topic yet, but I'd suggest something like these, A Cooling Stand A cooling lap pad I actually own both of these exact models (She uses the lap pad and I use the stand typically). They do help. The stand is more efficient because it gives the laptop more open space with more air so the hot air from the cooling ducks is dispensed very easily, but of course you really need a flat, sold surface like a table to place it on, you can't really use this on your lap or a bed. The lap pad is a great alternative if you use your laptop on your lap or on a bed quite allot because it makes a warm laptop more comfortable to use on your lap and doesn't allow heat to reach and build up on a mattress or cloth. So both recommended. These are the links to these exact model of lap pad and stand on the UK Amazon store, but there's many different models out there to choose from.

What do you do when you are bored from games?
Shagger replied to AndreiMirfi's topic in Gaming Forum
First, Welcome to VGR. Second, respect. That's old school. Third, could share more about the restoration of the old consoles you spoke of and how you get them to work these days? I can barely get a Nintendo 64 to work. -
First, I'm going to go back to something I said in a thread about Cyberpunk 2077 being delayed. Now, what I say there still applies, but it's a little different this time because I'm convinced this delay would not have happened if wasn't for Halo Infinite's poor showing at the XBox showcase with some less than impressive visuals. I'm glad the game had been delayed because it clearly needs work, but this means no XBox brand exclusive will launch with the XBSX console now. It would take one hell of an argument to convince me that the usual development problems would be enough to convince Microsoft to make this choice. I'm not wearing a tin foil hat, I'm just saying that if the public response to the gameplay demo at the showcase wasn't as negative as it was, I doubt this delay would have happened. I think they would have released it with the plasters stuck to it then fixed it as time went on. That is pretty much the plan for the game anyway, to continuously update and add to it over the years. That's why it called Halo "Infinite".

The game had an English voice over when I played it. I was trying to avoid the trailer for the new remaster of the game called "Full Body" and for some reason couldn't find the original trailer in English.

Not likely, they'll be playing the PlayStation Brain Chip, while we reminisce about good old days of controllers and VR.

I might think of something else later, but the one that comes to mind right now would be Catherine on the PS3/XB360. It's a dark, seedy tale, told within the nightmares of a troubled yound man torn between the feelings of commitment to his current love and the temptations of a new beauty on the scene and... it's a puzzle game.

Weird, I've been on android for years, several phones and never had a problem doing any of those things. I just choose a track stored on my phone and away I go. But to the point. You absolutely right. Epic are not saints here, there's only concern here is themselves and have been kinda trying to weaponize the public against Apple (and now Google as well, being behind Android), and that's kinda shady. I suppose it will be amusing to watch these multibillion dollar cooperations bring irony to word "Cooperate" and bicker like children, so my message to them is...

Who is waiting with me for Gladiators Manager!??
Shagger replied to DavidJonBoard's topic in Gaming Forum
Come on, man! Nobody just joins a gaming forum with no proper introduction then immediately proceed post links to some obscure indie game "they just happened to find" on steam. It just doesn't happen. -
It's a digital sale. You buy it on the Switch console itself through Nintendo's online store, the eShop.

@The Blackangel Tell the truth, I'm not that crazy about Jack, or any bourbon for that matter. I am a Scot, so... -
It's not so much about deleting these post every time. SSP is OK, there just needs to be rules drawn up, implemented and enforced when it comes to SSP so don't we get these one time posters who show up, lazily copy and past their promo, then never come back. As well as, of course, the affiliate spammers and people who aren't prepared to be honest out the fact they are involved with said project, like here. And yes, somebody on the forum to do all that.

Unfortunately for you, I understand completely. People who come onto the forum with no intention of contributing anything, only to peddle something, are not appreciated. At the very least you could have been honest about it, instead of this "Hello everyone! 👋 this is my first post on this forum, so please be understanding. Look at this game I'm totally not involved with!" bullshit. -
Do games push loot boxes and micro-transactions too much?

Thanks @Crazycrab -
What a world we're living when you can play a game like Civ'6 on your phone and for free and it fills me with dread.
