  1. I can't find it on YouTube and I don't know how to imbed videos from TicTok (or if it's even possible). You should be able to find it on a browser or on the app. It has almost 7m views, WAY more than any of his recent videos.
  2. You must mean 1000Gb, not Tb. Anyway, as I mentioned in another thread Defragmentation might help.
  3. I was disappointed with it. Throughout my experience I felt like I wasn't being pushed to do anything except find more shrines and towers for fast travel. This is made so much worse by just how frustrating traveling is, especially in the early game. The map is ridiculously huge with canyons and cliffs always getting in your way. I don't like having my hand held in to much in open world games but this was the opposite extreme. It just throws you in with no clue as to where to go or what you should be doing. There's other annoyances to like the breakable weapons and the terrible inventory. There are good points like the visual design, the combat is a lot of fun and the dungeon section are as enjoyable and innovative as always. It's a shame that for everything that's fun about BOTW there's something else that makes you want to pull your hair out.
  4. Do racing games really count? Impressive graphics yes but most of the contract is modelled after real tracks, cars and so on. Even the for the ones that aren't there is very little world building or lore involved in the design and I'd say that's more important than graphical fidelity.
  5. Wasn't that "high quality roleplaying" slammed by pretty much every single Fallout fan? Most of the story was told through audio logs, most of the quests were boring busy work and the "NPC's" were computer's. I'm definitely in favour of them doing an original story, there are tons of settings and parts of the timeline that haven't been explored yet.
  6. Pre-order's for Horizon Forbidden West just went live and I'm afraid I have some slightly shitty news If you want to to play cross gen. To play on PS4 and PS5 without buying a separate copy then you need to buy the Digital Deluxe, Collector's, or Regalla edition the cheapest of which is $10 extra and there will be no upgrade path from the standard edition further down the line. I wouldn't actually complain about the Digital Deluxe on it's own, you get a reasonable amount for the $10 compared to other games but it's the principal that pisses me off. The worst part is it seems like this will be Sony standard practice going forward. It also gets me a little concerned about the game. I mean if Sony are locking off cross gen and putting more content behind the pay walls of more expensive editions, then could they push their luck with something else? Guerrilla have still kept quiet the game's new crafting system and the previous did have common, uncommon and legendary tiers in it's loot and weapon/outfit mods...
  7. I don't think it's a preference that I'm consciously drawn to, or perhaps there's just more of them, I do tend to play more games that feature a “Chosen One” style protagonist. I guess it's easier to identify with protagonists like Aloy of Horizon Zero Dawn or the Dragonborn of Skyrim because there is something unique about them that makes them (or you) stand out. There's a YouTuber I like that discusses some of these in character analysis of Aloy. You see this in non gaming characters too like Superman, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Avatar Aang/Korra and even villains like Darth Vader. Making them special/chosen makes them unique and interesting. Not that "regular' characters can't be interesting either but it usually takes a deeper dive into their personality in order to make it work.
  8. I'd call it a toss up between Horizon Zero Dawn with it's nature-reclaimed ruins and rugged American landscape and Assassin's Creed Odyssey with it's lovely beautiful sun kissed Greek Isles and impressive Architecture.
  9. I've seen them all and I think the first 2 seasons of Kobra Kai. I loved the first two movies, the remake and Kobra Kai. Karate Kid 3 and The Next Karate Kid with Hillary Swank (yep, ya'll completely that exists didn't you) were just uncreative re-hashes of the original. I think you should give Kobra Kai another chance, it's more than just a sequel or a reboot. It's actually a very clever and well written spin on the idea. The original movies presented Kobra Kai/Johhny as the villains and Miyagi Dojo/Daniel as the heros in a typical black and white kind of way. This series allows both sides to have flaws and credibility, it throws back to the original but it's given a thoroughly modern presentation. Even though Johnny often still be a dick you do sympathize with him and Daniel, although still the morally wholesome character he always was can also be a passive aggressive asshole. I would very strongly recommended to any fan of original movies.
  10. I really don't know what to expect. Maybe when we get some details about the setting I could draw some conclusions but I'm happy to just to sit on it for now.
  11. I'm not sure if they even really count. Yeah they might be missing an arm or whatever but most of them have artificial limbs or implants that if anything make them stronger. That's kinda sums up the problem with disabled characters in games. For the sake of gameplay you want to feel empowered not restricted. I'm all for diversity in games but, and I'm sure @The Blackangel will testify to this, it ain't fun being disabled in real life so it won't be fun in a game either.
  12. Then I feel the need to make a little disclaimer if you intend to play AC Odyssey. There is a section (as both Alexios or Cassandra) where you compete in a Pankration tournament, oiled up and in the default underwear. Despite how it might sound It's not the slightest bit sexual but whatever. If I were still a hormonally insane pubescent teenage chemical factory then maybe playing Cassandra in her underwear might have made me blush. But as a fully grown adult what I see in this image is a badass covered in the blood of her enemies.
  13. I see your point but I have to disagree. After two weeks I'd probably eat my own arm, so I'd have no trouble eating a Snake! Kudos on the MGS 3 reference by the way, one of my favourite games 😄!
  14. Some Snakes are VENOMOUS, but none of them are POISONOUS. These are not the same thing and that's important for reasons I'll explain below. Obviously the meat from an animal can decompose or get filled with compounds like adrenaline to the point where it's not edible anymore. I believe that's what you were getting at here. But I think what @killamch89 was worried about is which parts of a snake contain Venom, but this is actually not relevant. The difference between a Venom and a Poison is that a poison is effective when ingested, but a Venom is only effective if it directly enters the bloodstream. As long as there were no open wounds on the inside of your mouth or oesophagus that the Venom could get into you can litteraly drink it and it would just urinate it back out. Otherwise the snake could easily die by ingesting its own Venom. So even the Venomous parts of snakes a safe to cook and eat.
  15. I'm not a fan of the tap/hold control scheme but I can adapt to it.
  16. I don't care about that. I think most of the open world RPG's with a character creator show characters in underwear, or at least some kind of default shirt or something. For the sake of "role play" I will often want my character to have a specific body type. Big and muscular for a barbarian or a leaner more athletic type for a rouge or assassin, even if it makes no difference to the gameplay which it usually doesn't.
  17. I always keep the cases, I kinda assumed that's what most people do. I mean who wants to put all their physical copies in a disc folder instead of displaying them on a shelf? Unless it's games for a portable system like the Switch you only need them while you're at home.
  18. It won't, like I said you would have to use a capture card and PC if you wanted to use a USB webcam. The PS4's uses its own proprietary connector and there's no software for standard USB camera's. You can use the PS4 webcam for streaming on Twitch but the features and overall presentation are nowhere near as good as they are on PC.
  19. The PlayStation camera doesn't really have much use outside of VR. You can use it for streaming but you're much using a capture card and PC for that.
  20. I think some people are just posting for points and it is annoying because it buries other topics where people are actually making an effort more quickly.
  21. I haven't used it that much, so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt. Most of the applications outside of games are tools and asset packs for developer's so for the average consumer theirs not that much of interest. As for IT service... well as far can tell each dev kinda runs their storefront independently so you would you have to contact them if you had an issue.
