  1. That is a little strange, keyboard controls don't have an sensitivity which suggest's that they wouldn't be good for steering accurately. But fuck it, you do you!
  2. I'm not surprised that it's a higher percentage of male characters but It's higher than I thought to. I guess it includes FPS franchises like Call if Duty where the protagonists are almost always male. I remember that some publishers used to make some of the most pathetic excuses as to why there isn't any female protagonists in their games. Former Ubisoft Creative Director Alex Amancio once said that "Women are to difficult to animate", bloody ridiculous. They've also made the excuse that games with woman on the cover don't sell, when at the time they were given half the marketing push. It's obvious when you look at the success of games like Tomb Raider, Horizon Zero Dawn and Life is Strange that female characters are marketable and can make money.

    Smite MOBA

I'm guessing he must have posted something else and then changed it because there was an edit. I didn't see what it originally was.
  4. Depends, am I trying to boil water or chill my drink? Am I up against Ifrit or Shiva? Am I Seth Rollins or Kimi Räikkönen? Am I listening to Ring of Fire or Ice Ice Baby?
  5. @The Blackangel I'll leave you mine in my will for free, I mean what the fuck would I spend the money on anyway!
  6. Actually the recently released XBox Series X/S version of the game works with controllers, Keyboard + mouse and flight sticks. https://www.purexbox.com/features/everything-you-need-to-know-about-microsoft-flight-simulator-on-xbox-game-pass#what-controllers-are-supported-with-microsoft-flight-simulator-for-xbox-series-x-andamp-series-s
  7. Take out whatever organs might be useful, beyond that I don't give a fuck. Use my bones for tennis rackets and my skull as novelty sweet jar for all I care.

    Smite MOBA

What are you talking about? The word "Mobile" in "Mobile Online Battle Area" does not litteraly mean it's on mobile phones! The MOBA thing started in 2003 with the original DOTA, which was a mod for Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos... A PC GAME! Since the most popular releases have been League of Legends (2009), DOTA 2 (2012) and Smite (2014)... All PC and console releases. There wasn't any popular mobile MOBA'S on mobile until the mid 2010's. Even after that genre is still predominantly PC, especially in eSports leagues.
  9. The crazy thing is this might not actually be the craziest thing that has happened (if it's true) when it comes to Atari's string owners over the years!
  10. It's not so much the fact that your storage is getting full that slows it down. it's the repeated process of it getting full, deleting things to make more room, filling it back up, deleting something else, filling it up again over and over. One of the defragmentation apps I told you about should help, but I could also be an old drive or even the older hardware in general. I realize your on a budget but there are some relatively inexpensive options that might help. A small SATA SSD for you boot drive, a second hand i5 or i7 from the same generation (here is a couple I seen on eBay but you'll need to check you own local listings, these are just examples; i5 7600k and i7 7700k) or upgrading to 16Gb of RAM should help to.
  11. To be honest I HATED Paradise with a fiery passion. It was a freak experiment of sheer greed that attempted to force everyone to buy their own copy of the game order to play together. Splitscreen and crash party gone. This was at a time when most people didn't have very good internet, but even if they did it's still a terrible design choice for an arcade racing game. You spent most of your time driving on an open world menu (NOT map) to select your event, a total waste of time. I much prefer the classic arcade style of the older games, and this is the title that destroyed them. After this piece of crap Burnout was effectively folded into Need for Speed never to be seen again.
  12. Actually if it's a Hard Drive then it can, but there may be other contributing factors as well. When formatted the HDD is split is a large amount of sectors of a fixed size. A good metaphor for this is to think of HDD storage as giant car park with space being a block of data of 4kb or so. It will start filling at one end to the other until it's full. But data gets deleted so gaps start to show up, so by the time it reaches the end there are gaps everywhere. Then Call of Duty Warzone shows up with 1,000 coaches of it's uncompressed audio files and shit. There is enough space to fit them all but not together, so they get spread out. Unfortunately this means it takes longer for the OS to find them parts of it that it needs, slowing things down. You can address this issue with Defragmentation, a process that essentially moves things around and attempts to pair associated files together improving efficiency. I'll leave a link to an article listing some software options. https://www.lifewire.com/free-defrag-software-tools-2619172
  13. Well that wasn't even that long ago I think it was around this time that they started putting all those bullshit microtransactions into their sports franchises like FIFA and Madden. In fact I believe that FIFA 09 was the first game to feature the Ultimate evil of Ultimate Team (https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/fifa-ultimate-team-football-academy-interview). So I'm going to say no, EA's reputation was bad back then and it's only gotten worse. I'm not saying there wasn't some enjoyable games along the way, they were. In fact EA published some of my childhood favourites like Magic Carpet 2, Dungeon Keeper, Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 and The Burnout Series. But even then I was aware of their crap and some of those games had their fair share of problems and controversy's.
  14. When was this? As far I can recall EA have had a well deserved piss poor reputation since the mid-nineties, maybe earlier. It's for mostly same kind of bullshit the have it for now. Greed, buggy releases, closing studios and their sports game pretty much same every year. I don't recall any point where they had a favourable reputation.
  15. @m76 I don't know if you have ever worked at Amazon, I have and I can assure you the attitude they displayed here is concurrent with their attitude in general. They treat people like condoms, use em then throw em away. To tell the truth, that doesn't even really bother me. It would piss me off greatly if I was working there and had a weekend job at a Just-Eat Kabab Takeaway and they told me they deserve some of the money from that, because I was a delivery driver. They obviously don't and I explained why already. I know your not stupid, but you've clearly got your nose to covered in brown to see the truth. These corporations don't give a fly-fishing fuck about about anybody that works for them.
  16. I actually believe that woman won't make the best character for such role play required by men. Imagine a woman bandit, yes it's possible but it looks odd. No, I'm sorry but I just can't agree with either of you there. Women are just as capable of ruthlessness and cruelty as men, especially under the extreme circumstances as presented in The Last of Us storyline. I'm male, but I could imagine hence role play a female being theif, bandit or a murderer very easily. That being because they exist and have done for thousands of years. I don't drop double standards.
  17. I didn't find an already existing topic for cover songs so, here it is! Your free to post whatever you want of course but I would really like to see covers that are in some way very different from the original (also I just found something really cool that I wanna share). So whatcha got? Disney gone thrash, Miley Cyrus in Cantonese, Skrillex in 8 bit... Bring on all the weird! Here's my brief selection to get up started! (This is the cool thing I just found)
  18. Explore the world. Not because I think taking a year long gap is a particularly good way of investing your time (fun, but not productive) but because $40,000 Isn't even close enough to explore the world. So it's an opportunity to rip the absolute pish! Want to peak Everest along your trip? That alone is at least $40,000 if don't wanna die and about $7000 if you don't care if you do. I admit I'm pushing what you would actually do a bit but I stand by my point that $40,000 would get you very far if that's all you had and weren't working. Under this hypothetical scenario traveling has was way more monetary value.
  19. Those a some fair points and I would agree with you, but their is a problem. In order to just justify that argument you need to PROVE the employee is and/or working for a direct competitor. The mandate that they had here does not need any kind of proof. They could be working in Amazon's game division, but what if they were developing CAD software? Even if it were for an another game, what if Amazon's game were an 3rd person action MMO and the other project was a single player sidecroller? Is that really a "Direct competitor"? That's like saying Budweiser is a direct competitor to Coka Cola because they are both liquids that you drink... I say no. The corporations need to prove it, not just design the system so they don't have to. Otherwise that's infringement on free liberty.
  20. Hard pass on EITHER of those! Would want a cat that jumps on you, scratching you all over hisses and screems every time the door bell goes off? Or a dog that walks all over the furniture and drags in dead animals overnight? NO THANK YOU! Their bad enough with their own traits!
  21. Tech-savvy all the way. I'm 36 years old and I adapt quite easily to most new technologies. Even the few that I don't or adopt to more slowly are mostly "social trends" like social media. I have an easier time backing away from older ideas like terrestrial TV,. Newspapers and radio. That's not to say I don't like old stuff, like boom boxes, old cars, sound systems, old records and CD's. Old stuff is cool but if we are being honest 9 times out of 10, new is better.
  22. It all comes down to how the leveling system in Oblivion works. Each skill is attached to an attribute which affect your characters overall stats like health, magic, strength, speed and so on. When you raise level you have the opportunity to raise your attributes, by how much depends on how many times you have raised the attached skills. Being attacked raises you Armor skill, light armour is attached to speed and heavy armour is attached to endurance. Then repairing that armour raises Armourer which is also attached to endurance. Endurance is a particularly important attribute to raise quickly because the higher your endurance the more your health increases when you raise level. So just letting yourself get attacked might sound a little strange but it's what you have to do in order raise level as efficiently as possible.
  23. Ok, are you thinking of the book, the Disney movie or the porno?
