  1. Well that's kinda the point to it. It's not really a "game" as such. It's a learning utility for guitar and bass.
  2. I've noticed that actually, that might be my only real criticism of it so far. It really doesn't explain fingering techniques (pardon the dirty pun) very well, at least not in the early stages. Like which finger should be used on which fret. I'm using PS4 so is it possible? There are some songs that aren't included I be interested in. PS:. It might be easier if you replied on this thread, it's more on topic.
  3. (Sigh...) It's a metaphor you dummy! I blame myself though, I should have figured you wouldn't click on. What I mean is they want to wash themselves of their current reputation of misogyny in the workplace. If you define political definite being more inclusive so their products appeal to a wider audience then of course it's bloody true! I personally don't see it as a political issue but what you don't seem to be getting is that even if I did: It doesn't matter to me what motivates their creative choices it's still THEIR choices. Do I always like it, No. Do still accept it, yes because at end of the day it's just my opinion. I can be critical but I it's not up to me to stifle their creative vision regardless of why they are going for it. If I like it great, if I don't I have a choice of keeping quiet or bitching and moaning but at the end of the day it's still creative freedom either way. If you're saying you don't want to see political influence in a game developers creative vision, and that covering up the ladies bodies is political then by your own logic, showing them off is political to. So why do you call out WOW for this: But not this: I'll tell you why, It's because one of them is YOUR politics and the other one is isn't. Once again just make it clear, I've no issue with either of these.
  4. I think it's very responsible of you to take your time and not push the car or yourself on a long trip. Take care!
  5. The only "game" I'm really playing right now is Rocksmith. I'm still learning the basics but I'm getting a little better at guitar and bass every day.
  6. I said it before that to many people here just "post for points," some borderline spam the forum posting the same things in almost identical threads over and over. General gaming isn't the only one affected either. I've even made complaints about to the moderators but they don't seem to care. As far as their concerned it's more traffic for the website. At least I know not only one who's getting sick of it.
  7. Great, another "boo! Their taking my pixel boobies away!" Rant. I'm sorry but one of these day your to have to accept that nobody with a mental age higher than 13 gives a crap! I VERY strongly dislike Blizzard for a number of different reasons. Their association with Activision, their popularizing of loot box skin economies with Overwatch, their blatant slap in the face to their fans with their Diablo Immortal announcement, their multitude of middle fingers to WOW players over the years and of course recent sexist frat boy crap for which they are getting sued. I would take just about any shot I can at these assholes, but replacing pixilated pictures of semi-naked woman with fruit is so deep into the barrel of Whatever that it's not even worth my worthless time bringing up. I mean given their current legal situation it makes perfect sense. Of they are going redecorate their room and clear out all the Hustler magazines and bikini posters and I personally don't see that as a bad thing. They and that man-babies that care enough to complain about this ridiculous shit need to grow up. Before you start your usual "this is infringement on their creative freedom" or "it political" shit, dev's have the equal creative freedom to cover the women up (or replace them with fruit) and even if was politically motivated I still wouldn't care. If I wanna see skin I go watch porn like a normal person.
  8. Some gamers refer to this month a ls "Broketober" because this is when everything seems to come out, but there isn't all that much this year.
  9. We discussed Second Person Perspective in this thread. To summarise a Second Person Shooter (SPS) wouldn't really work, picture playing Call of Duty while looking though the eyes of the person your trying to shoot.
  10. Well here's your convergence of international random for the week: Metal Japanese Pop Girls Grunty Swedish Vocals Finnish Folk Song Irish Dancing Live Performance in Denmark... Enjoy
  11. It seems like the controversial new monetisation for Fuckonami's new PES (now rebranded eFootball) turns to have been the mere tip of the shitberg! The game seems to be a long way from finished with a ton of missing features and so completely broken that EVEN THE LOOT BOX'S DON'T WORK! https://metro.co.uk/2021/09/30/efootball-instantly-becomes-lowest-rated-steam-game-ever-15343211/amp/ Of this hasn't stopped Fuckonami being Fuckonami. They tried to justify this mess by making excuses like "it's a demo version" and even selling DLC that won't even work until November. They have gone on to the official Twitter account and apologized for the state of the game. As of this post it stands at a poultry 9% customer review score on Steam. As much a things going wrong for Fuckonami makes me smile and they deserve every last atom of hate, this does suck for Football fans looking for an alternative to the money grubbing FIFA franchise.
  12. I think this is an interesting development. The online streaming service Netflix has just acquired it's first gaming studio, Night School Studios. https://kotaku.com/netflix-acquires-oxenfree-dev-as-its-first-game-studio-1847763973/amp This is the studio behind some acclaimed independent games like Afterparty, Oxenfree and it's up and coming sequel Oxenfree II: Lost Signals. It seems that Oxenfree II is still being developed for it's original platforms (PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and Steam) but what do you think this holds for the future? Will we be seeing games like Oxenfree steaming on Netflix? Will they be exclusive? Will they be included in the current Netflix subscription or will there another fee/subscription model? Share your thoughts.
  13. It's going to be longer than that, probably closer to the middle of the decade and that's assuming it's even in production which, as @Heatman correctly stated, has not been confirmed. Untill an official announcement comes from Rockstar and/or Take Two, your better of keeping GTA 6 out of your head.
  14. I'd say first person is more immersive, but it's not always more fun to play. In first person you can't see your surroundings as well and sometimes it's nice to see your character and what their actually doing, especially in stealth games. I also like being able to see what my character looks like, especially in RPG'S. I do generally prefer shooting in first person though. With third person you have extra and sometimes fiddly mechanics to work with like shoulder switching or tapping a button to get in and out of cover.
  15. As much as I would love to cure my tone deaf, I think being a Chef would ultimately be more useful so I'd go with that.
  16. UGHH... don't get started about those idiots. They are by far the stupidest people on the planet. To be fair, they don't think Greenland is the same size as Africa oh no, no, no, no, no.... They are legitimately not smart enough to come to a conclusion that stupid. Their ideas are even dumber! THIS is the map the world as far as thier concerned. This is pretty on topic in fact. If you asked a Flatard the question "Would You Rather Live In Africa For A Year Or In Antarctica", they'll tell you Antarctica doesn't exist. Instead there's a giant impenetrable "Ice Wall" at the edge of the dome (yeah there's a giant glass dome covering the Earth). This is why nobody is allowed to go to Antarctica (although there is no such rule), It's all a big conspiracy so... NASA can sell mugs or something. I'd better stop there though, I could rant for days about how stupid these people are.
  17. I've played Fallout New Vegas on multiple consoles, PC, with mods and without and it has NEVER worked properly for me. I've managed to get Skyrim, Oblivion and even Fallout 3 working pretty stable but NV was absolutely hopeless.

    Water polo

Well that would be hella cruel... and weird! 🤣 You know what DAMN YOU! You put the idea of Water Polo with horses in my head and I can't stop giggling!
  19. Well if you're talking about the most common "Mercator Projection" map of the world then Africa is one of the few places to that's about right since it sits across the equator. It's the far north and south that are out of proportion.
  20. Well that's not exactly true. The elements that are central to organic life like Hydrogen, Oxygen, Carbon, Sulphur, Phosphorus and so on are elements created through the fusion reaction in normal stars. These get distributed into space when a normal star expands, losses it's outer layers and becomes a white dwarf. It's only the elements heavier than Iron such as Silver, Gold and Uranium that are created naturally in bigger events like Supernovae and these are much rarer generally aren't organic. Supernovae spread out the lighter elements as well of course but it's only the heavier ones that are exclusive to that type of event.
  21. Well according to the current official definition of the word Sport, @Empire amongst others in this thread are right: You listed some examples of "Sports" at the Olympics, but that event is literally called the Olympic Games, not the Olympic Sports. So eSports is not a "Sport" per se, but that doesn't invalidate it in any way. The same way it doesn't invalidate Snooker, Darts or professional Poker. Just because it's a "Game" and not a "Sport" doesn't discredit the hard work and dedication that it takes to succeed at s competitive level.
  22. I actually don't see how people get at least these two confused. Open world action games have become Ubisoft's niche but EA hardly ever publish games like that. EA's focus is mostly on sports games, multiplayer shooter's and perhaps to a lesser extent today top down simulation games like the Sims and Sim City.
  23. Again, Assassin's Creed is published and developed in house by Ubisoft, NOT EA! Kissing the ass of either of these companies is bad enough, you could at least do it for the products they actually make.
