Virtual Reality and mobile, is it pointless?

Recommended Posts

Years ago I remember getting one of those VR headsets you can use with your phone. It was just a cheap plastic thing with lenses to utilize on your smartphone, but honestly they never seemed to work all that well. I finally upgraded to a somewhat newer smartphone and I was curious if it's even worth trying to use VR on mobile? Is there any apps I can use that will make it like VR? I kinda want to try playing some games in VR, but I have no clue how it'd go for most mobile games.

Or is it pointless to do VR with smartphones?

Just check the android play store. Almost every AAA brand these days is moving slowly on mobile ecosystem. e.g. Square Enix has their games on it. And recently even Alien franchise moved there too.

I wouldn't try that either, I love staying off pornographic shows, I wouldn't go Mobile VR for porn, I rather avoid it.

Porn Addiction is a pretty terrible one but I hardly hear anyone say anything about it. A kid actually died from beating his meat too much...

xD, that's awful indeed for the kid to indulge in such habit, I think the kid was influence by peers that led him/her indulging into pornography at an early age.

Nope - it's everywhere and once they get roped in, it's normally a wrap unless you make a conscious decision to address the issue.

Makes you wonder if there's a fundamental barrier between gaming-for-relaxation and VR. I think about a hypothetical future with full-body haptic suits and visual implants and think "that seems like an awful lot of work just to play a game.

Others will think so anyway.
