The Blackangel Posted July 19, 2020 Posted July 19, 2020 I’m almost exclusively a classic gamer, so yes.
Spikey Posted August 1, 2020 Posted August 1, 2020 Yep I still play my 'old' games once in awhile. If there is an online mode on it, it kind of sucks since no one usually plays online for the older games as they are all playing the latest release.
maddyknox Posted August 3, 2020 Posted August 3, 2020 Yes, they are the best games.... I much prefer older game systems like Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64, even some of the computer games from the 90s I miss a lot...
johnlink Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 Yes, like 60% of my gaming time is classic games, mainly NES and SuperNES. Well, since this is the eSports subforum, this could apply, since there are a lot of gamers clinging to play Smash Bros Melee in current tournaments.

You know I never thought about it before but, why IS this topic in the "Esports & Competitive Gaming" subforum? I know there is speedrunners and stuff but the topic hasn't really been, or even seemingly intended to be pushed in that direction. Edited August 10, 2020 by Crazycrab

I tried to lead the chat to the subforum topic, but I think moving the thread to general gaming is other option. Edited August 10, 2020 by johnlink
Zro Posted August 12, 2020 Posted August 12, 2020 New games are great, but not all of them. Old games are great too, but also not all if them

Head_Hunter Posted September 20, 2021 Posted September 20, 2021 Most of the adventure games I'm playing today are simply old, some of them debuted 15 years ago in the game world. But up to this moment I'm still having fun around. It doesn't matter how old it is, what matters is the derivatives.
Justin11 Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 Any kind of games is pleasing provided that the gameplay is fascinating and the picture quality is of high resolution on 3D or 4D level.
Empire Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 I'll play newer stuff if it catches my interest, but I always find myself coming back to my few staple games that are older (Titanfall 2, Battlefield 4, Skyrim) and I enjoy playing titles on my backlog too! Just got No Man's Sky and as a huge scifi fan I love it!
Head_Hunter Posted October 1, 2021 Posted October 1, 2021 Most of the old games are interesting I never really played them much, but old games like Meta Gear, soccer FIFA 06 are simply retro gaming that will still be interesting today.
Justin11 Posted October 14, 2021 Posted October 14, 2021 Few of them, and not all. I love FIFA 96, winning eleven, mission impossible.
