Honestly I enjoy it. It has a good simple layout, a easy posting textbox and a good user face that makes finding and creating easy. The community is far less toxic than Resetera (to be fair, that's quite a low bar to cross) and the moderation has been very calm and rational which is a nice change of pace. My primary problem however would probably be the point system and reward system in general, but I've discussed that in other threads so I'll keep my mouth shut. Something interesting I did notice was the size of a moderation team, there's only around three people on it. While it'll keep the team consistent and better regulated, I am curious on it's growth and how the forum's growth will affect it. I mean you can't exactly regulate 20,000 accounts with only three people. Something that I do like seeing more of is DC's contests, it's nice to have some extra activities that are able to be done. It helps keep the site interesting and creative. I hope DC keeps bringing in more threads like Trick Or Treat, it's a nice change of pace.2 points

Source: https://www.tweaktown.com/news/88846/microsoft-reveals-how-much-money-game-pass-actually-makes/index.html?utm_source=dlvr.it Microsoft recently revealed how much Gamepass has made them for the year of 2021, and it's a pretty big price tag. They made $2.9 billion from gamepass on consoles in 2021. But Xbox gaming made a total of $16.28 billion for the year of 2021. Looks like Gamepass is paying off for them right now.1 point

Hi everyone. New to the forum so just wanted to check in and introduce myself. I'm 37 and from England. Massive geek and been gaming for most of my life. Looking forward to chatting with all of you.1 point -
The intention of the new contests are to offer additional ways for members to earn points. We had two additional moderators, but they did not work out for a variety of reasons. We will be looking to add at least one new moderator by the end of 2022, but we are going to take our time in identifying and vetting potential candidates. I have your interest notated from our previous conversations.1 point

DC is trying his best to keep VGR busy and interesting. It will be hard to find VGR less fun, anytime I'm here, I find new enticing threads to comment on. The bid for reward is there, admin gift users here free games just for posting around the forums. You can't see this kind of feature rampant in other communities. My experience here in the past 365 has been tremendous, and I'll be for a very long time.1 point

Yeah great game. I've just been a Spider-Man fan all my life though. Own way too many of the comics etc as well! I ended up coming across the forum from an article on the biggest gaming forums on the net. I was on Resetera but left a few years ago when they started to show more and more that they couldn't see past any of their own opinions. There was no room for discussion.1 point -

Latinx
kingpotato reacted to The Blackangel for a topic
@kingpotato is Mexican if I remember correctly, so he could give a better insight to this. For me personally, I just refer to Hispanic people however they prefer. It's the same as everyone else. Unless it's something stupid, like unvaccinated people wanting to be called "purebloods". But it's kinda in the same boat as me asking people what their pronouns are. No two people are the same with their preferred terminology. And it's not limited to the Hispanic community. It's all in every community. I know a few other lesbians who find it funny as hell to be called a dyke. I would be enraged if anyone other than @Rain Dew was to call me a dyke. So it all boils down to the individual.1 point -
Latinx
kingpotato reacted to Grungie for a topic
I find that the irony of Latinx is that while a term created to be inclusive, is exclusive against the people it targets. People who don’t speak Spanish created a term that is difficult to pronounce in Spanish.1 point -
