  1. As described in more detail here, my experience with Nioh was brief and terrible. First, I could barely get the game to run because of a glitch with the resolution compatibility, so it took me an hour just to even get started. Worse, I only ended quitting on the game completely after about 10 minutes because another bug displayed the controller UI when I was using M/K (I didn't even have a controller plugged in, so it made no sense.) and game killed me while I was in the settings trying to fix it. And this was years after the game launched, so there is absolutely no excuse for this. I already hate the "From Software" ideology with the sluggish melee combat and cryptic, "trial and error" approach to difficulty, but I would have at least given the game a fair chance if it didn't copy what is by far that philosophy's most stupid aspect. Seriously, who do these games and dev's think they are to be so arrogant as to not allow such a basic feature of convenance as the pause function? It's like the game is penalising you for being a human being will inevitably need to use the toilet or eat something eventually, not to mention more life priorities like answering the phone, answering the door or your child walking in with tears in thier eye and one of thier arms missing. "Sorry son, you're going to half to walk to the hospital. According to team NINJA, Nioh takes priory.". There is no force in heaven, on earth, or residing in the fiery pits of with by far the music of the music of three that can convince me that this is anything other than fucking stupid. Now obviously, there are time when games not allowing a pause or anything to disrupt the real time of the game world makes sense, mostly refering to sustained multiplayer worlds like MMO's, Fortnite, COD multiplayer and so on, but I will always see this as serious flaw in a single player game. The fact they implement it on purpose doesn't justify it, it only makes it worse and the dev's even more wanting of common sense. Anyway, I apologise for the rant, it's over now. I'll finally get to the topic. I have had my eye on this as a Day 1 Gamepass launch, but my heart sank when I saw who was behind it as I have never had a good experience with these "Soulsborne" games (With the possible expectation of Jedi: Fallen Order, if that counts). So I'll wait and see with this one, even though I'm don't exactly trust other people's opinions on these types of games. I want to be wrong, I want to enjoy these games, but I find them tedious and frustrating. It's not like I don't enjoy challenging games, Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West on Ultra Hard are amongst my favourite gaming experiences, I just hate the way that "Soulsborne" games go about it. But rather than break out into another rant, I'll just say please share what you think of the game when it comes and I'll see if it's it's worth playing for me.

  2. Hitman 3 will be changing to Hitman: World of Assassination that combines all three games into one box. Much like the third game already did, it's saying this new version will include the first two game sat no additional cost. My hope going forward, is that they keep making this system better by constantly updating and adding new missions. I may pick up Hitman again because of it. Also I really want to try it in VR one of these days. :D Source - https://www.ioi.dk/hitman-3-to-world-of-assassination/

    Is E3 dead?

I'd like to see it become an open convention again. If they can't interest companies back, maybe change it to an event for gamers, maybe a place to meet developers, coders, etc. They could make it a celebration of the gamers too. Who knows what E3 will be in the next few years, they can try different things too.

  4. For me it would either have to be sour gummy worms as I can eat those like crazy they are so good or it would have to be these fish shaped snacks that we get that are salt and vinegar flavour. They are so good I could eat a full pack to myself but I am sure my body would not like that so I always get them to share.

  5. Pro wrestling doesn't lie about what it is, but I wouldn't describe it as "fake". It's an act, a show, it's scripted, staged, but not fake. They don't go through the kind of training, injuries and physical hardship that they do for something "fake". To the point though, Pro Wrestling doesn't lie about what it is and that's the difference. This video this guy has put together is not only a lie, it's an incompetent lie.

  6. Cocaine Bear 4/10 It had its moments, but overall wasn't much more than a creature feature, despite it being based on the real events of a true story.

  7. Do Dino nuggets count? 😛 Gummy bears are okay, but they're not one of my favorite snacks. I love chicken nuggets still, and Dino nuggets are the best ones! There's just something about the shape that makes them taste better to me for some reason.

  8. That's a hard question because you would have to look way back from the 80's to 2023 and see if there was an impact from the gaming world on society. For decades gaming was considered something for kids and teens, then the popularity of games like GTA helped boost the adult audience. Then you got people trying to blame games for violence and assuming that gamers have addictions and not a social life. Then you get the pandemic in 2020 that kept people at home and spurred the gaming market boosting a wide variety of gamers. To me it doesn't look like gaming has had a tremendous impact on society or cultural norms, at least not something so distinct that I can pin point. If people aren't gaming at home, they are watching tv or surfing the internet. I think entertainment as a whole would be easier to analyze. Gaming has become a scapegoat for a lot of things and I think that has become the cultural norm. Adult paranoia probably influences gaming more than how gaming impacts society.

  9. The conure I have had since she was a baby. We got her from a breeder in Springfield Illinois. Before we had even walked out the door, she had bonded with me. I didn't pick her, she picked me. She's a really loving bird as long as you're not trying to play video games. Also, I'm the only one she likes. She attacks everyone else. She tolerates @Rain Dew because she knows she has no choice. She loves to groom me. Or at least she thinks she is. She picks at freckles and my tattoos. She knows the tattoos aren't natural, and she probably thinks the freckles are dirt or something. So when I have her out, she's always picking at them trying to get them off me. It's cute as hell. Here's one of the best pics I have of her.

    Gym & Fitness

I used to do that when I was younger but not too much. Nowadays though if I wanted to I wouldn't be able to manage to much due to my health issues, having a hernia and also suffering fibromyalgia. I do try to stay active though by walking a lot.

  11. I remember a cookie I loved back in the day, Teddy Grahams. It comes in different flavors and very addicting. Shaped as a teddy. Man, the memories.

  12. I have always been dubious about foldable smartphones if I am honest especially with how they fold now with the screen. I can't say I have heard many issues with these foldable smart phones but I guess I worry about the possibility of it ruining the screen at some point. If foldable smartphones and tablets were possible though that would be a cool thing to have, would allow you to take your tablet with you places without needing a huge space to keep it. In terms of what two consumer products I would like to see merged I'm not sure. There are things I can think of such as maybe a PC and a smartphone so that you could do all the things on your PC that you can do on a smart phone but also use it as a PC as normal as well but in a sense we can already do that as we have apps to be able to do that on our PC's.

  13. Mine would probably be the late 70's - early 80's as well. I was born in 1986 and even though I did get to experience some of the technology from the early 80's I don't remember much about it so I would love to be able to travel back that far and be able to experience technology back then that I could remember.

  15. People need to understand that Mother Nature knows what she's doing. The only exception to your thought that I would have is if it's something that went extinct as a direct result of human actions. Typically it's either over hunting, or poaching. But there have been other animals that went extinct as a result of human interaction that weren't hunted or poached. If that's the case, I would be interested in seeing what the end result would be. Hopefully, it would be a positive thing. But then again, Mother Nature may have used us to do her work when she wanted something gone.

  16. Ditto. You can trust me all the way, with one exception. You can't trust me with gummies. I will eat them all. I absolutely love gummies.

  17. 16GB is the minimum nowdays. Used to be 8GB and now it's not. When it comes to gaming you really need 32gb 🙂 even so when I'm in gaming like MSFS2020 it's using 22gb if not more.

  19. Sooo sweet!! I am hype for it and may get it ASAP. It was a fun game way back on the Gamecube, and I never did manage to beat it as a kid. Yup, same same! I am a fan of when companies stealth drop a game. I love playing remasters of games.

  20. Always great when a company announces something and drops it right there as well. I would imagine many people are very happy to see this dropped as soon as it was. Anyone who is a huge fan if definitely going to love replaying the remaster.
