Exactly, that's something I'd expect to happen sooner than later with the way the community is growing so far.

My best bet would be in Summer 2022 to Early Fall 2022 for that, but by 2023 we should have reached it.

    Hey, everyone!
I have some big announcements to make today. First of all, we just hit another impressive milestone—15,000 members! I want to give a shout out to all of you who have become a part of the VGR family, especially our frequent contributors. Together, you have made this one of the friendliest and most engaging forums around.
Next, I want to welcome @The Blackangel as our second moderator (and thanks again, @Techno, for recommending we get one)! The Blackangel has been with us for more than three years now. During all of that time, I can’t even remember a week where she wasn’t active and involved.
We can always count on The Blackangel for detailed, insightful replies to members’ threads—plus she is one of our classic gaming experts. Moreover, her passion for this forum shines through in everything she does, and I know she is going to bring that enthusiasm to her work as a moderator every day. Congratulations, The Blackangel!
The Blackangel joins @Shagger, who became our first moderator in August 2020. Like The Blackangel, Shagger has specialized in engaging, in-depth discussion. Since becoming a moderator, he has done an incredible job keeping topics organized, quickly defusing potential conflicts, and keeping everything running smoothly for our community. Thank you so much for all of your ongoing hard work, Shagger! I just know you and The Blackangel are going to do amazing things together.
Both our 15,000 member milestone and our second moderator are signs of how much VGR forum has grown over the course of 2021. Thank you all again for the role you have played in making this community the welcoming haven for gamers that it is, and for all you will do to make VGR continue to grow and flourish as we head into 2022.

DC got a reaction from Boblee in [Sponsored] The FFXIV MSQ is still too frustrating for new players, even with Endwalker
One of the biggest concerns for FFXIV players is the often long-winding process of completing Main Scenario Quests, or MSQ for short. FFXIV's story is a delight to experience, but the trouble with the game's MSQ is that it involves a plethora of sequential quests that must be completed in a linear fashion. This means you can't take on another part of MSQ without finishing pre-requisite quests firsts.
This has been a point of frustration for newer players because some may just want to get into the action of FFXIV without going through a tedious questline; in which case, they may be setting themselves up for disappointment because FFXIV deals with its story a lot. Part of the FFXIV grand experience is its rich story and events. While players may use an FFXIV mount to get from point A to point B, main quests will still require you as a player to defeat mobs of enemies or bosses at key parts of it.
Alternatively, players may choose to get an FFXIV account that has already completed the story so they can just choose to do the Bahamut Coil raids — the Bahamut Coil represents the biggest challenge in the game and is an absolute blast to experience and a worthy obstacle to finish, and not everyone gets to finish it.
What do you think of the game's MSQ so far? Will Endwalker do a good job of tidying things up for it?

DC reacted to Techno in Techno's Tale: The Fall Of NeoGAF
Here on Techno's Tales, I also like telling stories, this is one I was not apart of, but I have studied it.
Many websites rise and fall some fall gracefully, others go with a bang, and some go into dark places.
I will now talk about a forum which is still active, but has now become a shell of it's former self.
Content Warning: Alleged Sexual Harassment and Censorship.
Warning: Please do not go harass any person, website, or company apart of this story, all intentions are for education and entertainment.
NeoGAF was started as a forum called  "The Gaming-Age Forums", which was apart of a website called Gaming-Age. It eventually grew too big for it, after a few years with IGN it became NeoGAF. Many years went by, NeoGAF grew by the day. But on October 21, 2017 things took a dark turn, a film director named Ima Leupp told the community of Facebook that the forum's owner, Tyler "Evilore" Malka had approached her while she was showering without her consent. Following this, the forum erupted into chaos, half of the sites moderators quit, leaving the site in sheer chaos. Hundreds, maybe thousands, of accounts posted threads, trying to get banned. Soon, NeoGAF was offline, the plug had been pulled. But it was not for long, as afterwards, the plug was put back in, and NeoGAF had returned. But things had changed, scars left by this event can still be seen. The forum is bigger than ever, but at what cost?
The cost, it seems, can be seem by the message at the top of the website that appeared afterwards, the one all shall see:
"The Politics forum has been nuked. Please do not bring political discussion to the rest of the site, or you will be removed. Thanks."
Maybe Evilore is gone, I do not know that, but what I can say is this:
No more political discussion at NeoGAF, please.

Since I find some very interesting websites (the cleans ones, mind you) I wanted to talk about some of them.
I had found this 90's website from a cult, >deleted< if I remember correctly, it's very interesting, but the cult is infamous for a >deleted< that happened, so keep that in mind.
Here is the link to it:
    Note: The site is religious
(Hope I don't get in trouble for this one)
Another site I found was this really small forum site, The owner is nice and the site runs wells and is well moderated. I joined today, (note: I am not the owner nor a friend of the owner). It's a mix of entertainment in general. If you do check it out please don't cause trouble, especially because it has less than 50 members, and the owner is the only staff there.
    Link: https://thegoathouse.community
Here is the last one I feel like talking about for now, so I was googleing weird sites and some site called ducks are the best came up. It's just a color board (eplictic warning: the colors change very fast, if you get seizures from that then avoid) that you draw duck emojis on. It's more of a meme site.
    Link:
Well hope @DC doesn't get mad at me.
If I messed up I am sorry.

Moderator Edit: Links removed due to content. VGR does not endorse sites glorifying things such as cultist activities especially if they result in mass tragedies. We also can not allow links to sites that could cause massive health issues to members who may have undiagnosed conditions.

DC reacted to Techno in We should probably get a second moderator.
First off, a few little notes so I don't get in any sort of trouble.
    1. I am not asking to be a moderator, I am merely giving my opinion on something.
    2. Shagger has been a very good moderator, he is easily one of the most professional and chill moderators I've seen. This not not meant to be any sot of attack on him or his moderation.
    3. I have not had any problems with anyone here. I am merely stating my personal opinion.
This forum has been one of the most chilliest and kindest forums I have been one, but as the forum heads into 15k members I have realized something. We may have great moderation, but I think it would be best if we get a second moderator. I don't want DC and Shagger to be overwhelmed by spammers, raiders, or trolls. I think one more moderator would be very good for the forum. A second moderator would be able to help DC and Shagger when drama breaks out, and when there are raids.
How should they be picked, well I think it should be up to DC for that, he owns the forum, he should get to choose.
I wish you all a good day.
  14. Thanks

I find them rather funny, but I struggle with some of the puzzles, especially when a lot of them have cartoon logic (an oxymoron if ever there was one.) It's a shame that there can be some frustrations with figuring out what to do when the games have frequent moments of hilarity. I reckon I'll stick to the comics.

It's that time of the year again. Game Awards are streaming soon, what are your predictions? And what are your hopes?

My predictions: Microsoft shows off Hellblade 2, Redfall, and the Halo show. Nintendo shows Zelda BOTW 2. Sega shows off Sonic Foundations, and the Awards reveal something huge and insane.
My Hopes: Starfield is shown, Hellblade 2 is shown, BOTW 2, Elden Ring, really just big gaming annocuments.

DC reacted to Kane99 in Should we just support indie games at this point?
If it isn't EA making the news for dumb things they do, it's Activision, Blizzard, Take-Two, Rockstar, Ubisoft or some other big corporate run gaming company that just keeps making horrible mistake after mistake. Games are released broken, full of microtransactions, and deceptive practices, and yet we still support a lot of them. Half the games these big time studios makes, are bugged messes, yet indie developers seem to do much better work with their games, at least in terms of optimization. Anyway, what I'm saying is this, do you think that Indie games will be the way to go for gamers? Or will these big companies start to shape up and start to fix their errors? I'm starting to think no, because it seems companies I once respected, like Take-Two/Rockstar, have become nothing but greedy.
I know I'm probably a broken record at this point, but it really says something if some of the biggest gaming companies out there, are destroying their own reputation with each mistake they make.
At this point, I kinda want to just focus on the indie titles, because supporting the majority of the big companies isn't helping anymore.
